In a research which this paper reflects its results , a model for open innovation in banking industry is offered. In fact , the relationship of open innovation as latent variable and the influential factors are stated in a model. In this regard, with reviewing literature and previous researches, a conceptual model for open innovation in banking industry was designed. This model includes three main constructs like internal factors (technological resources, capability of idea attraction ), external factors(external knowledge resources, technological changes) and the relationship factors as trust. By conducting interviews with experts regarding the model constructs and doing statistical analysis, it has been approved. Then in a field study in Parsian Bank, by distribution of questionnaires, the relevant data for approval of the model ingredients were gathered. At last, by using structural equation modeling and regression equations in path analysis form and using SPSS and LISREL Softwares , the data were analyzed and the interrelation among latent variable and independent variables were stated clearly. The findings show that, in internal side ,technological sources doesn’t show any direct relation with open innovation, while the capability of idea attraction, had direct relation with open innovation. In external side, knowledge and technological change had positive and direct relation with open innovation. In interaction side, trust had positive and direct relation with open innovation. The model of this research can be useful for cultivating open innovation in banking industries and as a powerful tool for policy makers and planner in this sector. Manuscript profile

We find that biotechnology patents face a longer lag between application and grant date, and their secrecy would be heavily affected if legislation were to permit publication 18 months after application. They are highly concentrated geographically, as well as in industrial origin, and are used most heavily in the health sector, but have a wider spread in use than in origin. They use many more (and much more recent) references than the average patent, with a special weight on academic or scientific literature, foreign patents, and a tight circle of research fields. The main purpose of this research is to identify and investigate the organizational factors for implementing open innovation in Iran universities. This study was a qualitative-quantitative research. The field of research in the qualitative section was all open innovation articles and books in the period from 2007 to 2018 and open innovation components were extracted by thematic analysis in an inductive manner. In this research, the "Thematic Network" was used. The validity of the research was approved by the referee by the audit method. To calculate reliability, coding was done by studying row to row of selected resources manually by two individuals individually. After coding, the results of these two coding were compared by the Holsti method. The result of thematic analysis was the extraction of 20 basic themes from different sections of the articles. From these basic themes, 3 organizing themes and finally global theme of “organizational factors” were extracted. Then the proposed innovation model was designed and a questionnaire was prepared for fitting this model. The proposed model has three factors related to the organizational preparation, human resource preparation, and setting up for idea creation, which offered three dimensions for the university to exploit the open innovation. The statistical population in the quantitative part of the research was the managers of the centers of growth and innovation of various universities, including State universities, Islamic azad universities, Payam Noor universities, Scientific and Applied Sciences universities, and Medical universities licensed by the Ministry of Science and also faculty member of entrepreneurship management. To evaluate the content validity of the questionnaire, the Lawshe method was used. In order to study the structural validity of the test, the analysis of the questions was done by confirmatory factor analysis method. All calculated factor loads were greater than 0.6 indicating their favorable condition. Also, all calculated pi values were less than 0.05 which indicated a significant relationship between each factor and the main factor higher than its own. The reliability of the final test was also examined by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. All calculated Cronbach's alpha coefficients were greater than 0.7 which showed reliability acceptable. the results of the validity and reliability testing of the quantitative part confirmed the proposed model. One of the main aspects of the development of contemporary Ghazal is the relative change in the prosodic circle and introducing new meters. However, researches are only focused on studying the new metrical patterns of some poets, and metrical patterns of contemporary Ghazal have not been analyzed. Adapting an analytic-comparative method, in this research, the meters of more than 2500 Ghazals of 10 prominent contemporary poets have been identified and then these meters have been compared with Khanlari’s pattern of Persian Ghazal meters. Moreover, poets’ tendencies regarding following the traditional metrical patterns and their innovations in employing new meters have been analyzed and compared. The results show that 13 among 20 major meters, proposed in Khanlari's pattern, are still considered the main Ghazal meters, and other meters are added to this pattern; however, the frequency of composing Ghazals based on Khanlari's pattern, is in general 15% less than the average in Persian Ghazals. In contemporary Ghazal, the frequency of the short meters is decreased, while the frequency of the medium, long and overlong meters are increased; however, medium meters are the most frequent in contemporary Ghazal. Among the contemporary poets, Behbahani and Monzavi are the most innovative and ingenious in employing Ghazal meters. Aref Qazvini, Rahi Mo'ayyeri, Shahriar and Mardani have shown the highest conformity with the traditional prosody while poets like Mohammad Ali Bahmani, Emad Khorasani, Farrokhi Yazdi and Ebtehaj are somewhere between the innovation and tradition. The foundations of a knowledge-based economy are innovation, technology research and development, which is a costly and risky activity. Given the high cost and risk of technology development, the private sector alone can not do this, and therefore, governments in different countries have developed various institutions and mechanisms to finance innovation. In Iran, about 10 years ago, the discussion of the formation and development of the knowledge-based economy began with the adoption of the "Law on Protection of Companies and Knowledge-Based Institutions and Commercialization of Innovations and Inventions" and an Innovation and Prosperity Fund was set up to finance these companies. In this article, we take a look at the legal basis for the formation of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund and the various approaches and services of this fund in order to support innovation and technology development and thus the realization of the knowledge-based economy in the country. The change in the role of the university due to the change in economic-political orientations at the end of the Cold War, led to a change in attitudes toward research in academic centers. Given the new economic orientations that have shifted the role of economic management from government to market and have led to a change in attitudes toward research in universities and research centers, the demand has emerged that universities should minimize the public resources used in research. To compensate and play a more active role in the growth and development of society. At the same time, the formation of the knowledge-based economy has highlighted the role of knowledge as a more prominent factor in creating added value, wealth creation than the traditional factors of production in the economy, namely land, labor and capital. In addition to research and education, the university has another third role, which is to participate in the socio-economic development of society. These changes in the approach to resource allocation and the role of knowledge in wealth creation and the change in the direction of economic management have led to growing attention to the commercialization approach to research results in universities and research centers in developed countries. He concluded that research results should be sold to private and public sector companies in order to create other sources of revenue for these centers while funding research activities.Commercialization means turning research results into products, services, and processes that can be sold. Thus, this process emphasizes the application of research results and the creation of economic value for these results. As a result, fostering entrepreneurial ideas in the process of business development for wealth creation, value creation, taking advantage of comparative opportunities and advantages, and combining innovations and technologies in the direction of economic dynamism; Directing stray capital and directing investment flows in productive and entrepreneurial businesses within the university's capabilities;Social partners and students and teachers; It is recommended to prevent the erosion of entrepreneurial businesses in the light of continuous and process-oriented facilitations in the dimensions of consulting, financial, institutional, etc. Manuscript profile

It is beyond a shadow of a doubt that the issue of Devine knowledge is one of the most important and complicated issues in Islamic theology and philosophy. Islamic theologians and philosophers have engaged in various aspects of this issue, including how to prove and quality of that, and present different arguments. Mulla Mahdī Narāqī was one of the great figures who has discussed regarding two above-mentioned aspects of Devine knowledge and innovated new ideas. The quality and argument in favor of Devine knowledge in the view of Narāgī, are the main questions which this paper concentrate on. Analyzing several books of Narāgī, such as Jami' al-Afkār wa Nāqid al-Anzār, we came to following conclusions: First: The correct aspect of proving omniscience upon the "Any unphysical entity is thinker of itself" rule would be that any unphysical entity which stands on its essence has the capacity of perception and thinking. But actuality of thinking is subordinated to actuality of the most powerful interest between thinker and which has been thought, and that would exactly be the presence of its essence in its essence, that is knowledge by presence. Second: for the quality of omniscience, the best view would be that to make the presence of god's essence in its essence the criterion of God's detailed knowledge to all entities, even before as after creation. It is the total presence and all discovering for all entities, in their inclusion and causality. The presence of God in its essence is more powerful than the presence of entities to God. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected various aspects of human life and changed many systems and practices of the past. Since the beginning of the pandemic, technology is among the fields that have received serious public attention. It's expected that technology has a significant impact on overcoming the Covid-19 crisis and resolving the challenges posed by it. However, the effects of Covid-19 on technology and technological innovation systems have received less attention. Using the futures wheel method, this research identifies and visualizes the direct and indirect consequences of Covid-19 on technology. The input of the focus group discussions for the design of the futures wheel is derived from the qualitative content analysis of existing studies and reports on the effects of Covid-19 on technology. After the first version was designed by the focus group, the results were presented to fifteen experts with different specialties to modify the wheel in addition to confirm the validity of the research. Comments were reached consensus in two rounds of interviews and the final version of the wheel was drawn. The research findings represent the pattern of Covid-19 effects on technology under four main consequences: recession and economic problems; the need for fast, efficient, and effective solutions to deal with the crisis; lockdown policies; and the environmental impact of Covid-19. The most important policy proposals to deal with the identified consequences are: supporting the development of crisis-related technologies; supporting the continuation of companies' activities; supporting innovation competitions; removing obstacles to the export of technological products; Expediting patenting and licensing processes; Applying demand-side innovation policy tools; Investigating the risks of emerging technologies; regulation of emerging technologies; Designing a dynamic business atlas; and removing restrictions on access to materials and equipment needed for research and development Manuscript profile

The increasingly rate of change and as a result shortening product life cycle, has emphasis on innovation among industrial companies. The purpose of this research is to briefly discuss the role that innovation plays in global competition and to investigate the relationship among influential variables on innovation in petrochemical companies. Drawing from literature review we developed a research model. It consists of 26 factors and then with utilizing DEMATEL Fuzzy technique, they were reduced to seven variables, namely, culture of change, management performance, focusing on clients’ demand, financial conditions, product flexibility, using new technology and government support. Then the effects of above factors on organizational innovation have been assessed. Results emphasizes on vital role of culture of change among employees that must be at center of interest on managers. Also results indicate that clients’ interest is an independent variable that neither effects nor effected by other variables. Among other findings, results indicate that culture of change, management performance and using modern technologies are the most vital factors affecting innovation in petrochemical companies. Investment variable has been identified as an independent variable that has great effect on a number of effective variables in petrochemical companies. Manuscript profile

In the concept of innovation systems, the interrelationship between actors is important. One of the most important tools that will shape this interrelationship between different actors in the system is regulations and laws related to science, technology and innovation (STI). In the literature, especially according to some economists such as Schumpeter, it is proven that laws and regulations could have the positive and negative impact on the development of technology and innovation. The literature review has shown that there are three views to achieve a comprehensive legislation in the field of STI. The classification categories are OECD’s rules, technological and non-technological laws and the prevention of failures rules. In addition, in this research, science and technology rules and laws as "lows on science and technology" in other countries are also examined. As a result, the proposed framework is introduced to show the different dimensions considered to achieve comprehensive science, technology and innovation law. Finally, according to this research, there are some proposed factors such as institutional modifications and innovations, determination of important science and technology branches, comprehensive view about these regulating and concept of STI, and attention to dynamics of laws and rules, that decision makers should consider to achieving comprehensive regulations. Most of the nation’s economic power to dominate the regional and trans-regional markets depends on the knowledge and technology and its application in creating various products consistent with the current worldwide demand. The use of technology in production and export leads to increased competiveness strength and enhanced worldwide market share. This study investigates the effect of innovation on high technology exports of Iran in comparison to the selected countries mentioned in the vision plan during 2007-2012 in order to provide policy recommendations to achieve the vision plan goals and seriously addressing the economic sanctions. The results indicate a positive relationship between innovation and high technology exports in studied countries. Among the studied countries, the worst and the best performance on high technology exports respectively are Qatar and Turkey. Iran ranked second in the region on high technology exports and in the couple of innovation indicators (The number of patents and scientific and technical papers) but for the other indicators of innovation, the situation is not desirable. Despite the presence of young and graduated generation and the development of higher education, due to inconsistencies between macroeconomic policies and research and innovation policies and also the lack of demand-driven innovative activities, still Iran has not reached the top position in exports of high technology in the region. So to seriously deal with economic sanctions and to achieve Vision′s goals, it is necessary to adopt appropriate macroeconomic policies in order to create demand for the development of innovation activities. National innovation system (NIS) as a system approach to innovation is composed of institutions that interact with each other for creation, dissemination and application of new knowledge commercially, acting within the boundaries of a country. One of these institutions is research and technology organizations (RTOs). In most countries, such organizations exist independently and non-corporate. In the innovation system, the role of intermediaries (especially RTOs) in the innovation process is an important element of successful innovation. RTOs in developing countries are, therefore, important actors in NIS, since they contribute significantly in the intensive learning process, which enabled these countries to successfully catch up with developed ones and, subsequently, shape their economy into a Knowledge Based Economy. knowledge-based economy based on acquisition, production, distribution and utilization of knowledge in all economic activities. In this economy the need for innovative companies are very obvious because these companies are the main source of wealth and employment in the knowledge-based economy. Knowledge-based economy is the current need for all countries in the world. In this regard, one of the strategies for a successful experience of developed countries based on knowledge-based economy has led to the formation and development of the science and technology corridors. Science and technology corridor is the coordinated and coherent set of universities, science and technology parks, research centers and in a geographic region with a centralized management structure and the particular legal for knowledge based products and services. In this paper, the requirements for the formation of the science and technology corridors will be discussed. The main components of science and technology corridors are: national innovation system, science and technology parks, universities and research centers, venture capital and entrepreneurship, human capital, special infrastructure, market, high technology firms and proximity to urban areas. As long as the country does not acquire these requirements, access to science and technology corridor and the knowledge economy would be impossible. Manuscript profile

Of all the aspects of management of technological innovation (MTI), innovation strategy is the most challenging. Appropriate MTI, leads to value delivery, sustaining competitiveness, profit making, refreshing working environments, maintaining and retaining productive labor. Successful MTI occurs solely when a broad set of elements and organizational activities are well managed and integrated within innovation strategy of organization. Firms can be very good at the various activities involved in MTI, such as R&D or operations, but this accounts for little unless it is supported by a well-grounded innovation strategy that guides firms’ choices, prioritizations, and sequences. One of the concepts in the field of innovation strategy is innovative capabilities. Innovative capabilities are defined as bundles and patterns of skills used by firms to formulate and implement an innovation strategy involving the creation, extension, and modification of those resources and skills used for innovation. In each phase of the innovation strategy formulation, different tools may be used. Choosing the right tool depends on various criteria. Some of the criteria are as follows: Is firm new or well established, large or small, centralized or dispersed in its organization, deals in simple or complex products and services, operates within well-defined or uncertain technological and market circumstances, with a major or minor impact on society, safety, and the environment. In the article, using an integrated approach of innovative method and innovative decision-making method based on engineering technical innovation, and innovative capabilities, right tools in each phase of innovative capabilities, which finally leads to strategy formulation, is recognized. Some of the most practical tools are SWOT analysis and Delphi. Manuscript profile

High speed changes and evolutions in technological environment are among the important subjects in business which has made the ability to plan and decide in this area impossible without a proper perception of the present and future situation of technology. Therefore, determination, creation and development of the industrial and research co-workers network using the open innovation and employing the technology intelligence in order to observe the technological evolutions for technology-based organizations and also the technology and science progress that has a direct effect on the business area of these organizations are very important. On the other hand, since the increasing growth of the internet in increasing the input resources for technology intelligence has a key effect, the appropriate employment and use of information technology tools for accessing and analyzing these inputs has also been changed into a key point in technology intelligence creation. Thus, the organization`s strategy in determination and acquisition of the appropriate process of technology intelligence has become very important so that organization requires to merger the innovation and idea from out of the organization with main advantages from inside the organization. As a result, establishing a systematic framework, the organizations, creating a connection between the technology intelligence and open innovation, can help their purpose and increase the technology intelligence value. These days, organizations environment has become more competitive. According to business researchers, achieving a competitive position for the company is possible only by the proper business model. A successful business model indicates a better option so that it can offer greater value to a distinct group of customers and bring greater benefits to the company. At the start of a business, failure to identify an appropriate business model, leads to the failure of organizations to achieving its goals. Despite the importance of this issue, there is no standard for the definitions and components of business models. Hence, in this study, definitions and components of business models are discussed, according to the different approaches in modeling business models. However, merely having a good business model at the inception of a company is not enough; what is more important is utilizing and maintaining a proper business model over the life of the institution. The power of a business model is such that it can be a powerful tool for analyzing, testing, and evaluating organization's strategic options. Therefore, an organization business model evaluation as a strategic decision-making process will never stop and can be a basis for continuous improvement of the business. Business model evaluation differs according to the levels and units of analysis. In this study,by reviewing the different studies, the most important criteria and methods of business model evaluation has been proposed.Business models are the representation of businesses at a specific time. Rapid technological, economical, cultural and political changes lead to a more complex organizations environmentand dynamic business evolution. This causes instability of business models. Therefore, they change by the development of businesses. Hence, business model innovation has become one of the most important issues in management science. This concept has been studied in the final part of this study. Manuscript profile

Ideation, research, and technological innovation is valuable when leads to wealth creation. Commercialization is a way for linking science to economy and create wealth from innovation. Several factors, such as creative thinking, appropriate know-how, entrepreneurial thinking and spirit, and financial resources, need to get together to gain success in technology development and commercialization. But rarely an individual can have all these features. So the best solution for successful commercialization is formation of a team of four different characters with the above properties: These characters are inventor/innovator, investor, technologist and entrepreneure. This paper implies definition and concepts of commercialization, and thirteen steps in commercialization process, from ideation to success development and growth. Then introduces “innovation team” as one of the solutions for successful commercialization and describes the characteristics of team members and their roles at different stages of commercialization. In order to achieve more and better results in the area of commercialization, at the end of the paper there are recommendations with regard to Iran’s conditions. Manuscript profile

The importance of investment on Research and Development (R&D) has been assumed as a clear and obvious matter in advanced industrial countries, and today it is the R&D that will determine how to allocate the budget and financial issues. Now, investment in R&D units is considered as a competitive advantage. Nowadays, only those countries are able to participate and survive on competitive challenges at the international levels which are determined consistently to employ the latest technologies and it cannot be obtained unless they possess dynamic and globally-adjusted R&D centers. In this paper, overviewing the literature of this regard, we go through the analysis and description of R&D success factors and its position in Iran and some developed countries such as Japan, USA, and China. Following an adaptive comparison, some solutions are portrayed to improve the place of research in Iran. In the first step, is the government via providing financial support, facilities, and encouraging and promising environment for the researchers, and in the second step, researchers should engage in innovation and service to our country via strengthening national loyalty and learning about the latest scientific methods in the world,. Especially universities -as thinker entities and society’s great scientific and cultural sources- must establish science-based approach as the dominant thought and endeavor toward applying the researches in the country. This will obtain through constant and proper communication between institutions and academic research centers, and spreading the culture of science and research among the public. Manuscript profile

Open innovation and absorptive capacity are two popular concepts in contemporary innovation management literature. firms' absorptive capacity, as it has been defined by Cohen and Levinthal (1990), determines their ability to in-source externally developed technology or ideas. In this paper, we tie these two concepts to each other and prove how the recent insights about open innovation can advance our understanding of absorptive capacity. External technology sourcing is becoming more important for a number of reasons: Shortening technology life cycles, emerging technologies with the potential to disrupt market leaders' positions, sharing costs and risks associated with science based technology, globalization of the R&D activities as a response of companies to the greater dissemination of knowledge throughout the world, the growing importance of seed and venture capital to finance excellent business ideas, etc... These inter-organizational knowledge flows do not materialize automatically and firms have to develop skills to tap into external sources of technology. Furthermore, absorptive capacity is crucial in explaining why some companies are better than others in creating and capturing value from in-sourcing externally developed technology and technological collaboration with innovation partners. Hence, absorptive capacity and the outside-in dimension of open innovation are necessarily linked to each other. The purpose of this paper is to analyze how absorptive capacity and the outside-in dimension of open innovation can be linked to each other. We focus on the question how complementary between internal and external technology plays a role in open innovation and absorptive capacity of innovating firms. This paper discuss about open innovation around two key factors (humanity & organizational) and relate it to absorptive capacity .Then analyses conceptual model with SWOT. Manuscript profile

Competitiveness is an issue that in recent decade has shifted the attention of many researchers and policymakers to its side. In today's world of expanding globalization, countries are employing all their efforts and use all of their capacities to be able to gain more shares of international markets by improving the competitiveness. Among the factors that increase the competitiveness of the countries, the basic needs indicators, efficiency-driven and innovation-driven can be noted that all of them have been considered in Global Competitiveness Report of the World Economic Forum as one of the most reliable sources of competitiveness at the national level. In this paper, we try to investigate the status of overall index of competitiveness and innovation and basic factors influencing the competitiveness among OPEC members according to the Global Competitiveness Report 2010-2011. The results show that the state of competitiveness among countries is not so appropriate, also it should be noted that their competitive power is largely dependent on infrastructure and macroeconomic environment which themselves function from oil exports and foreign exchange revenues. Beside, the innovation components of their competitiveness are poor. Thus, it should be noted that the economic decision- makers in these countries are recommended to push their competitive power toward relying on innovation-driven components which have more flexibility and seek higher value-added for them. At present Research and Development centers face rapid technology changes. So, these centers are in perpetual search for new methods and tools to serve as a frame for conducting activities of researchers to access innovative solutions for new problems. Systematic innovation (TRIZ) is a creative problem solving technique that firstly has been introduced by Genrich Altshuller. TRIZ has been developed to aid inventors and researchers to accelerate innovations without numerous trials and errors. It is a scientific systematic methodology for defining, analyzing, and formulating solution models for difficult problems. The problem solving through TRIZ consist of four steps: problem definition, tools selection, making solutions, and assessing the solutions. In this paper, we introduce a summary of the TRIZ Tools and TRIZ Problem Solving Process and way of its using on developing capabilities of creativity and innovation and inventive problem solving power in Research organizations and Researchers. Helping to avoid numerous trials and errors without compromise between the two and more than two requirements and solving problems by a different approach using TRIZ is the first difference between TRIZ and other creativity techniques and tools. The accurate understanding of TRIZ and its tools has many advantages for people and organizations in R&D process and solving problems of it. This paper discusses a number of these advantage, too. Competition and growth have made organizations to be always looking for competition advantages and the most common way to gain that is innovation. Now the main question is what can be the most important innovation in organizations? For this reason researchers focus on innovation and its types. They offer several models and patterns. Literature review indicates the presence of multiple and sometimes conflicting views. This paper, combines ideas from previous authors and proposes comprehensive models for classifying types of innovation. Information of assemblage method in this article is library method, and use of the internet resources and research method is a comparison between the past research conclusions and an integrating research. By comparing and integrating pervious viewpoints, three main dimensions are provided: 1- the focus area (result/ process) 2- type of approach (current / new) 3- types of change (radical/incremental). By using these three dimensions, a model is presented which consists of all types of innovations in itself and integrated different pervious scholars’ points of view. Innovation is the capability of identifying opportunities and using their advantages. These opportunities are not just opening new markets but include the innovative processes and ways for existing markets. Actually, innovation is not just production of goods, and examples of innovation can be seen in the service sector and public and private sectors. Innovation intrinsically is a risky project and even developed firms cannot accept infinite risks. In fact, the question is not that if innovation should be done or not, but rather how this innovation can be successful and which feedback could be gained from its success and failure and reaching a pattern that can be applied in future activities. Always the main question has been "whether or not we can control and manage what is known as innovation". At first glance, it might seem that managing innovation is impossible and a complex process. But we believe that despite the uncertain and apparently random-nature of the innovation, it is possible to find an underlying pattern of success. Innovation is a "management" issue because there are decisions to be made about resources, disposition, composition and coordination among them. In this paper after expressing concepts of innovation and managing innovation, a conceptual model and its usage structure is presented in order to concentrate on key aspects of managing innovation. Next, creation and maintenance of an innovative organizational context will be discussed and finally a comparative analysis of managing innovation between Japanese and Korean firms will be reflected. Aviation industry is one of the seven major industries in the world in future. And improvement in this field can cause improvement in other industrial fields. On the other hand one of the most important way for technology catch-up is Benchmarking. Benchmarking help us to see how can be successful. Three factors act major roles in air industry: first, economies of scale. Second, airframe manufacturing .Third, in the case of airplanes, development, modification and maintenance require extremely intimate manufacturer-customer relations or user-active innovation. In this sense, every passenger jet that takes-off, is in fact a customized product rather than a homogenous commodity. These three are the most important things to pay attention in air industry in this article .here we compare NIS in Japan, Russia, Brazil and analyze what they have done for improving aviation industry. Open innovation represents an emergent paradigm, which organizations must become familiar with and apply it in practice sooner or later in order to survive and prevent their failure. Factors such as diffusion of knowledge, increasing costs and complexity of R&D, the shortening of the technology life cycles, the growth of venture capital and presence of knowledgeable suppliers and clients, have weakened the close innovation paradigm. So, self-sufficient, inward focus, monopoly of knowledge and capital investment on internal research, does not create competitive advantages for organizations any more. In open innovation era, organizations make use of both internal and external resource of knowledge to drive their innovation processes, also search different internal and external ways to develop their markets. With regard to inescapable deployment of open innovation, now the question is what items should be considered by organizations in the shift from close innovation to open innovation? In other words, what are the requirements for implementing open innovation approach in organizations? This paper will answer the question by review of pervious research to identify and describe dimensions which could lead organizations in order to implement open innovation. These dimensions which named “the requirements to shift from close innovation into open innovation” and presented in conceptual framework of paper, are: networking, open innovation processes, organizational structures and knowledge management systems. Organizations should notice these dimensions interact each other, so change along one dimension will impact on the others. Manuscript profile

In the current decade, knowledge based economy is a popular term in the scientific circles of the country. This word has attracted the attention of many scholars and experts. The global index of knowledge based economy has four foundations, and innovation is one of these bases. In the area of innovation, Iran has less privilege than the global average. In order to promote the level of innovation and, consequently, the level of knowledge-based economy, using the global statistics in the field of knowledge based economy and innovation, in this paper first of all, we recognize the important input factors influencing the innovation and then we compare the status of these inputs with the global average. After identifying the weaknesses in the inputs, the status of these measures is reviewed in the Sixth Development Plan document. According to the findings, it was found that in the sixth program of development, only gross domestic product (GDP) per unit of energy consumption was pointed out, and no direct reference was made to other measures. Comparison of measures with the global average showed that in order to improve the output of innovation, the country needs to improve the level of research and development, knowledge workers, ICT and the political environment. Innovation is a necessary requirement for companies to gain and maintain competitive advantage. This is largely due to the rapid development of technologies. In order to survive in the competitive environment, large companies should also strive for innovation in different parts of their organization. Therefore, the issue of adaptability is particularly important in introducing the innovation model. It can be assumed that inter-company collaboration is increasingly important at different stages of business development and that large corporations are willing to engage with startups. This interaction allows start-ups to overcome the problems that emerge in the early stages of business development, and on the other hand, the influx of innovation for large corporations increases the competitive advantage against their rivals, to gain more market share. The purpose of this article is to analyze the methods of collaboration between large corporations and start-ups, especially to examine the needs of innovation in the economy. This partnership can take many forms, and this article reviews the different types of partnerships between large corporations and startups that relate to business acceleration activities, co-creation, co-branding, acquisition, acqui-hiring and open innovation. Finally, by examining each of these methods of cooperation, we conclude that cooperation in any way can be beneficial to both parties and there are important points that must be considered before and during the cooperation process, so that both companies can ultimately benefit from the relationship. In this paper, a comparative study of the history and different approaches of knowledge based economy as an influential concept in promoting national resilience and sustainable development in Iran and several selected countries (from developed and developing countries) is discussed. In this regard, while comparing policy making in different countries to establish a knowledge-based economy, we offer lessons learned for Iran to achieve a knowledge-based economy. One of the most important points drawn from the study of countries as joint focus points is the specific and sometimes unique nature of knowledge-based economy development policies in each country with regard to the industrial and technological context of each country. Accordingly, policies that have led to the development of a knowledge-based economy in a developing or developed country do not necessarily lead to similar results in other developing or developed countries, and may even have devastating economic consequences. It should be note that knowledge-based economics is not limited to advanced technologies. The main factor in achieving knowledge-based economics, in addition to advanced technologies, is focusing on innovation as the axis of enhancing productivity of economic activities and competitiveness that can span a range of activities. Include low and medium technology additionally, coordination and integration between players, especially policymakers and government players (institutions and organizations) at the highest levels is an essential requirement for the realization of a knowledge-based economy at national level. Over the past three decades, research has focused on how and under what conditions latecomers have been able to become major producers of new technologies, such as renewable energy, and make technological catch-up in this area. This is emphasized for developing countries because, on the one hand, the greatest growth in energy demand in the coming years will be in these countries, and on the other hand, it is a green window of opportunity for other developing countries to learn and work towards catching-up in these areas. In this research, from the perspective of global innovation networks, the technological approach was investigated by analyzing the structure and evolution of the solar energy innovation network using patent citation analysis. For this purpose, patents in this field were extracted and cleared from the Derwent Innovation over a period 1980-2017. Then, a citation network was formed and the topological structure and country-level indicator were examined using social network analysis methods. The results showed that countries that were able to gradually increase their absorption capacity by joining the global innovation network and moving in the path of technology of leading countries by increasing citations to their patents, could able to be producers of knowledge and granted high quality patents which have been increasingly cited by other countries. These countries found a special place in the network as intermediaries for the diffusion of technology and succeeded in technological catch-up. Manuscript profile

Firms try to increase their innovative performance to survive in a turbulent market and improve their competitive position. Combining these efforts does not necessarily lead to profit and increase their market share. To understand this shortcoming, researchers look at the factors that affect innovation performance and how to measure it. However, the subject that needs to be addressed is the firm's innovative behavior, which can affect innovation performance. By borrowing from the concept of dynamic capabilities, the present study has tried to classify the possible types of capabilities to create new products, services, and processes into three general categories: innovation capabilities, collaboration-based capabilities, and complementary capabilities, and by presenting different hypotheses for the effectiveness of these capabilities. Test the firm in innovative performance. For this purpose,180 questionnaires were distributed among firms to report the number of new products/services, the number of new processes, their financial performance, and the types of measures taken in their field of innovation from 1392 to 1394. After confirming their validity and reliability and creating structural equations using the partial least squares (PLS) method, results showed that innovation capabilities and collaboration-based capabilities significantly positively affect innovation performance. Also, research and development, training of human resources, design, collaborative research and development, and purchase of technical knowledge have significant path coefficients in the resulting PLS model and significantly affect innovation. In addition, the purchase of machinery and tools only significantly affects the creation of innovation. Manuscript profile

If universities functioned in a stable environment, the demands for leadership would be modest. Mission, vision, programs, strategies, and policies could simply be put on automatic pilot. Automatic pilots don’t work for universities. Environment is in continual context, and the results and consequences of these changes for the future of universities are profound. Sound, creative and empowering leadership is indispensable, and it spells the difference between productive, sustainable universities and those that are in continual crisis and failing. One need only reflect on the change that has come about in university over the last century. The very mission and scale of universities have been transformed. Universities are altering the ways and means of teaching and learning. New directions and methods in research and service to society are evolving. The costs-benefits of the academic enterprise are in continual fluctuation and open to challenge. The roles of faculty are different, as are campus cultures. The very definition of precisely who is served and touched by universities is in transition. Leading change is clearly the most difficult and taxing challenge faced by university managers and leaders. Occupying a position of leadership and exercising the role of manager and leader are entirely different.Too many positions of leadership are filled by those who occupy the chair and carry the title but fail to lead universities in ways that enable them to adapt to a demanding environment, optimize their mission, align with values, and produce a lasting contribution to society. It does not speak to the position of leadership, to title, or to mere survival skills; rather it speaks to the creative act, the behavior, the hard work, and the skill and competency of leadership and management Manuscript profile

In recent years, "technology-based start-ups" have attracted the attention of many researchers and policymakers in various countries as the engine of rapid economic growth. The high growth rate of job creation, sales, exports and capital of these companies, and especially their role in creating high-quality job opportunities, has put these companies in the spotlight of policymakers in many countries around the world. Banks are recognized as an important institution in financing, which will help improve the financing and credit process of technology-based companies by providing banking facilities and will somehow survive them. However, in recent years, despite the economic problems of banks, financing companies has faced many challenges, so considering the importance of financing technology companies in the country, as well as the diversity and range of experts involved, in this article in order to deal with conflicting perspectives and achieve common vision to organize and manage more effectively and efficiently, a combination of soft systems (SSM) methodology and a critical innovation systems (CSH) approach has been used. After explaining the common points of the two approaches, we will reach a common and radical definition of the problems of the credit network in the country's banking system by conducting in-depth interviews with specialists and experts in this field. After reviewing the processes governing the credit system of technology companies in the banking industry using the approach of critical innovative systems and after criticizing the situation and the state of "is" and "should" and new requirements to improve the current situation, the criteria for improving the process should be extracted. Today, due to the rapid changes in innovation and technology in the business and governance environment, the design of appropriate governance policies has faced complexities. In proportion to this growth, the prevailing changes will also require common intelligence and proportionate institutional changes. Based on the existing complexities, Institutionalization and Institutional Innovation is one of the most important measures taken by different societies to regulate functions and achieve specific goals. These institutions are sometimes completely new and innovative, and sometimes are modifications of previous institutions that can all be categorized as institutional innovation with a wide range. In developing societies, due to its dysfunctions and weaknesses, institutional innovation faces many obstacles and problems. Recognition of these barriers can be helpful in predicting complementary institutional innovation measures for their implementation, and the purpose of this study is to identify these barriers. In this study, field studies and interviews with focus group were used to collect data, and by content analysis method, institutional innovation barriers were counted, and finally, based on complexity theory, the results of the research were validated. Obstacles to institutional innovation were identified in three categories: knowledge, determination, and capability. Due to the inequality of policy makers and implementers, these barriers were counted separately from the perspectives of these two main stakeholders. Manuscript profile

The innovation ecosystem consists of a group of actors and dynamic processes that provide innovative solutions to new challenges. The main purpose of this research is to design a university-centered innovation ecosystem. For this purpose, ecosystem functions were first identified through literature review. Due to the limitation of As-Is data in Iran, interviews with stakeholders were chosen as a complementary technique. The second round of interviews were developed to identify the rules and processes of the ecosystem. The results of this study led to the choose Triple Layers core-periphery framework of innovation ecosystem called "Core-Platform-Development & Application". In this framework, the Institute of Health Technological Innovations is placed at the core layer, which is associated with these six platforms: Work Integrated Learning, Idea Generation, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Shared Services, and Investment and Financing. Each of these platforms communicates with actors in that field at the Development & Application layer. After confirming the conceptual architecture with a triangulation technique, the ecosystem interaction model was designed & the results of the architecture in the case study were simulated by system dynamics method. For validation, the simulation results of the model under the two scenarios of continuation of the existing conditions and the establishment of the proposed architecture showed that the proposed architecture will clearly have a positive effect on the model variables in the future. Today, many countries look at the phenomenon of innovation as a tool for economic growth and development. The existence of many complexities in the path of creation to the application of innovation has caused many scholars to consider innovation in the form of an ecosystem. One of the reports that measures the innovation ecosystem in detail is the Global Innovation Index. This index examines different aspects of innovation by using seven pillars, each of these pillars has three sub-pillars and each sub-pillar has a number of indicators. With a history of 12 years in the report, Iran has gone through a growing trend, so that it has reached from the 120th rank in 2014 to the 53rd rank in 2022. The study of Iran's situation in various indicators shows that the country has a very favorable situation in the world in the education of university graduates, scholarly publications and domestic patents, while it has an unfavorable situation in the indicators related to the business environment and innovation collaborations. Due to the lack of data or not being up-to-date, Iran's situation in some indicators and sub-columns cannot be accurately cited. This point clearly shows that the policy maker must have an up-to-date internal database to evaluate the innovation ecosystem in order to adopt effective and flexible policies. Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study is to identify effective innovation strategies for a governmental organization and mission-oriented in the field of communication and information technology. The characteristics of the company under study are: governmental organization, having a monopoly market, scattered actions in the field of innovation, having managers interested in organizational innovation and has a clear and up-to-date strategy and structure. In this paper, innovation strategies were collected using comparative studies of similar international companies. Then by using the method of thematic analysis on the data obtained from semi-structured interviews, the strengths and weaknesses related to the innovation were identified. By matching these two categories of information, a number of appropriate strategies have been proposed and their implementation considerations have been expressed based on the specific characteristics of this company. Accordingly, suggestions for future research of this company have been presented to identify appropriate methods of implementation of organizational innovation in similar circumstances. As an emerging technological field, artificial intelligence has received increasing attention from companies and governments. The development of artificial intelligence both at business and country levels depends on knowing the current situation. This paper identifies the artifacts and producers presented in this field and maps them to transformational levels. Products/services and producers are achieved through capabilities provided by artificial intelligence. Then, based on the classification methodology and meta-characteristics, the transformational levels of the artifacts of Iran's artificial intelligence ecosystem have been extracted. 562 products/services were identified, which were offered by 112 companies. Machine vision and natural language processing have been at the top of the technologies used, with 44 and 27 percent of the products allocated to them, respectively. Artifacts and producers were classified into seven transformative levels: individual, organization, industry, electronic chip/hardware, society, platform, code/algorithm/library, and infrastructure. Iran's artificial intelligence productions have not grown in a balanced way. The three levels of platform, code/algorithm/library, and infrastructure as the main generator of other artificial intelligence products/services have had the lowest amount of production. It is suggested that a specialized marketplace for the supply of artificial intelligence application programming interfaces should be put on the agenda to stimulate the formation of the ecosystem. Social innovation, as a new and interdisciplinary concept that is less than a decade old, has been able to attract the attention of politicians and statesmen to academics. In the meantime, many categories and formulations have been made with different approaches, each of them seeking their goals and implementing their policies in the society in the form of a discourse. In spite of the different and sometimes contradictory formulations, its ideal goal, regardless of different discourses, is to reduce the existing gaps between the classes, which have been created by the implementation of inappropriate socio-economic policies, which will ultimately end in a civil society with a middle class. The most important goal of this article is to build the concept of social innovation and then to explain it in the form of existing three discourses (government, entrepreneurship and academic) and finally to apply the entrepreneurship discourse (with a view to the point that in the conditions of our country, the only possibility of creating and reproducing society and ultimately innovation and breaking out of the existing conditions is the strengthening of the middle class) in the "narrative of existing events" method. Based on this, while categorizing and evaluating entrepreneurial actions, we have explained and drawn its practical type in the existing conditions of the society Manuscript profile

The path of modernization and growth of industrial technologies passes through the historical developments of countries, and in this sense, industrial growth is a complex process in which many factors play a role in its realization. Based on the historical experiences of societies, various theories have been presented regarding industrial development and growth that may emphasize aspects of this phenomenon. This research is based on the research project of Boras and Landvall, comparing the government functions and the historical experience of Iran, regarding the creation of the ball casting and metal melting industry and industrial modernization at the beginning of the 19th century with similar experiences of Cannon, Gun and Butter in two historical periods in England and Denmark and then examines the technology policy of these countries in the form of innovation system theories. The main question is that despite the factors of the innovation system in Iran's industrial modernization experience at the beginning of the 19th century and government measures in this regard, why did the industrial modernization program of Iran not succeed? This research is historical comparative in terms of development goal and in terms of institutional method, and its data was collected by library method. The results show that the lack of institutional evolution and the formation of a systematic interactive relationship between the elements of innovation caused Iran's industrial modernization program and technology policy did not succeed. The emergence of the knowledge-based economy and, as a result, the increase in the importance of categories such as knowledge, innovation, and technology has increased the focus on concepts such as knowledge management, technology management, and innovation management. This article examines the existing articles and the researches that have been done in relation to the integration of the three areas of knowledge management, innovation and technology, in order to provide a conceptual model for integrating these three areas, which while covering the characteristics of each of these managements, from waste Organizational resources resulting from the overlapping of knowledge management, innovation and technology and their confrontation with each other should be prevented. First, a systematic literature review was conducted in which a wide range of related articles were searched from 1980 to 2021. Then, metacombination method was used to code the findings from previous researches and combine them with each other. At this stage, Perish and MAXQDA software were used for coding. In this study, more than 220 codes were assigned to data units. Then 220 codes were analyzed and similar codes were aggregated. Finally, 24 codes were obtained which were called basic codes. In the next stage, the basic themes of classification and the following five organizing themes were extracted: the principles of innovation-knowledge management, the enablers of innovation-knowledge management, the routine and creation of a culture of integration, the infrastructure of integration, the mechanisms of integration. Finally, a conceptual model is proposed that explains the relationship between these areas and how they interact and overlap, and solutions to integrate them Manuscript profile
