Abstract :
The purpose of this study was an assessment to mediator role of faculty member's technical, contextual and behavioral competencies in the relationship between manager's affective - social competencies and academic innovation. This study was corolation and statistical population consists of 130 Islamic azad university faculty members in 2014- 15. Using by Morgan table selected 97 as samle study. Study tools was acadmic manager's affective - social competencies questionarie, academic innovation research made questioarie and faculty member's technical, contextual and behavioral competencies questionarie which were distributed and collected after calculation of validity and reliability. The results showed that Islamic azad university bandarabbas branch manager's affective - social competencies, faculty member's triple competencies and academic innovation average were lower than desirable level but upper than minimum level in all dimentions and faculty member's technical, contextual and behavioral competencies has mediator role in the relationship between manager's affective - social competencies and academic innovation.
