ABSTRACT Cooperation between university and industry is not a new topic. Although there are some tested and used models for characterizing and analyzing this cooperation, these models have proven to be inefficient and unsuccessful in some countries. Therefore in this study we developed a model to analyze the level of university – industry cooperation in Iran. Furthermore we identified and ranked the barriers hampering and blocking this cooperation. In order to do so we used Interpretive Structural modeling (ISM) and Friedman test. Since ISM is based on the views of scholars we asked 33 experts both from university and industry to provide their views and comments about the present condition of university – industry cooperation. Using research findings we ranked barriers that hamper university – industry cooperation respectively as: 1- lack of trust between industry sector and academia; 2- lack of demand – centered research and dissertations; and 3-motivational issues.   Manuscript profile

The concept of strategic entrepreneurship refers to simultaneously engaging in the activities of discovering (creating knowledge and new capabilities) and exploiting (exploiting existing and current organizational resources and knowledge), which has increasingly attracted attention in strategic management and organizational entrepreneurship literature. In spite of this importance, there are two significant theoretical gaps in the context of Iran. First, how can organizations create strategic entrepreneurship capability in their organizations and what are the effective factors in this regard? Second, does basically strategic entrepreneurship lead to business growth or not? The statistical population of this research includes 93 active food industry companies in Tehran and Gorgan. The questionare was completed by 75 firms which are statistically generalizable based on the Cochran formula. Reliability of the survey instrument is confirmed using Cronbach Alpha. Content and construct validity tests were confirmed by some university professors and statistical techniqies such as confirmatoty factor analysis respectively. Finally, research hypotheses were tested by structural equation modeling (SEM) using Smartpls software. The results show that Entrepreneurial mindset, entrepreneurial culture, entrepreneurial leadership and creativity and innovation through strategic entrepreneurship have a significant positive effect on a firm’s growth. The results showed that the roles of the university and industry include six roles of teaching, research, social service, help to technology development, help to innovation development, help to entrepreneurship development. Based on the findings of this research, the roles of university, industry, based on the goodness of fit index were highly fitted. In this model, both institutions of the university and industry had a significant impact on the ecosystem. The industry with a higher factor loading was in the first place of the importance of role in creating the ecosystem, and the institution of the university with a lower factor loading was on the next order. The model's power of prediction criterion, indicated that exogenous variables, i.e., university and industry roles, have the potential to predict the formation of the ecosystem (relationship) of the university and the industry. It is desirable for Iran’s universities to become knowledge based. So IR is the most suitable approach to achieve this goal. While the unit of Institutional Research of the world's most prestigious universities is created to strengthen university-industry collaboration, , it has been neglected in Iran’s universities. This research attempts to explain the concept of IR and identify the methods which can be implemented through the study of theoretical principles and Delphi technique. Manuscript profile

In recent decades, with the rapid growth of urbanization and population growth in cities, the use of public transport and personal vehicles has been on the rise, which has many consequences such as greater dependence on the car, long travels, increased transportation costs and most importantly, environmental hazards and air pollution. The Irregular use of cars leads to the loss of irreversible energy, the effects of greenhouse gas, and the dissatisfaction of townspeople of the high levels of noise and air pollution, resulting in a reduction in economic efficiency. In this regard, governments have set various rules and standards for reducing car pollution and the car makers are required to comply with them. These requirements have prompted carmakers to find ways to reduce the environmental pollution of their products and to create new technologies in this industry. Therefore, attention to environmental studies in the automotive industry is one of the most important factors. In this research, we investigate the types of pollution caused by automobile industry and practical ways to reduce these contaminations. Manuscript profile

In recent years, the expansion of industries has led to increase industrial wastewater production and environmental pollution. Dyes materials are one of the most important pollutants in industrial wastewater. Today, dyes are widely used in various industries such as textile, paper, leather, printing, and cosmetics. Drainage of colored wastewater does not only affect the aesthetic aspect of the receiving water but also reduces the process of photosynthesis. Also, the colors and their intermediate products are toxic, carcinogenic and mutagenic for aquatic life. Most of these dyes cause skin allergies, dermatitis, and itching, and accelerate the incidence of cancer and mutation in humans. Therefore, industrial wastewaters containing dye need to be treated prior to discharge into the receiving environment. The purpose of this study was to provide a summary of the most important industrial dyes, the health and environmental effects of dyes as pollutants, and to describe the methods for their removal from water and wastewater. In this study, different dye removal methods such as biological, physical and surface adsorption methods were described and the best process for treatment of colored wastewater was introduced considering the economical cost. Moving on the path of innovation and entrepreneurship (value-creating) and fulfilling the desired social responsibility is one of the axes of the evolution of universities in recent years, especially in the last two decades. Innovative and value-creating university, for which various definitions have been proposed and various dimensions and criteria have been proposed for its introduction and creation, is one of the new initiatives and ideas for transformation in university systems. Despite identifying and introducing various components and criteria for an innovative and value-creating university, creating this type of university and purposeful and managed movement in the path of innovation and entrepreneurship requires a comprehensive roadmap and a balanced action guide. In order to evolve and achieve a comprehensive model, a guideline framework consisting of eight dimensions, as an action plan and operational model of an innovative and value-creating university by the European Commission and OECD, design and more than 600 universities and higher education institutes in Europe and OECD has evaluated this model. In this paper, through a review of documents, the guide to innovative and value-creating university is introduced as a guide for mainly European programs, for the gradual and systematic transformation of existing universities into innovative and value-creating universities with local considerations. All Iranian universities and higher education institutions with any mission, by learning and adapting actively and productively from this framework and gradually adapting their conditions to its dimensions and criteria, can take fundamental steps in the path of innovation and entrepreneurship and become an innovative and value-creating university in the Relation of Industry and University, Innovative and Entrepreneurial University, Value-creating University, Third Generation University, Guiding Framework for Innovative Higher Education Institute (HEInnovative)true and actual word. This article seeks to shed light on the question of what is moral politics and what is its place in the political and moral thought of our time? The article argues that the separation between the two realms of politics and ethics, which Machiavelli has largely proposed, may and should be considered a positive achievement for both, but the simple, classical, and absolute form of this separation isn’t defensible in our contemporary political and moral thought. For this reason, this article, based on the teachings of one of the most important philosophers of ethics, "Emmanuel Levinas", has tried to help strengthen the theory called "Ethical politics" and by defining ethics as the first philosophy and politics as an instrument to actualize the foundational ethical “Hospitality”, find a way to link ethics as teleology of peace and politics as its practical agent. The second part of the paper extracts and clarifies Mohammad Mossadegh’s notion of “the relationship between ethics and politics”—which serves as the foundation and source of his political activities—from his letters, memoirs, lectures and treatises. A presumption of this paper is that Mossadegh had developed a project within the political sphere which can be deemed as ethical in certain respects. I argue that this project can in turn be interpreted as an indication of the unity between the ethical and political spheres in Mossadegh’s thought. Manuscript profile

Credit scoring is an important topic, and banks collect different data from their loan applicant to make an appropriate and correct decision. Rule bases are of more attention in credit decision making because of their ability to explicitly distinguish between good and bad applicants. The credit scoring datasets are usually imbalanced. This is mainly because the number of good applicants in a portfolio of loan is usually much higher than the number of loans that default. This paper use previous applied rule bases in credit scoring, including RIPPER, OneR, Decision table, PART and C4.5 to study the reliability and results of sampling on its own dataset. A real database of one of an Iranian export development bank is used and, imbalanced data issues are investigated by randomly Oversampling the minority class of defaulters, and three times under sampling of majority of non-defaulters class. The performance criterion chosen to measure the reliability of rule extractors is the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), accuracy and number of rules. Friedman’s statistic is used to test for significance differences between techniques and datasets. The results from study show that PART is better and good and bad samples of data affect its results less. Manuscript profile

In today's competitive environment, customers are the most important asset to any company. Therefore companies should understand what the retention and value drivers are for each customer. An approach that can help consider customers‘ different value dimensions is the value network. This paper aims to introduce a new approach using data mining techniques for mapping and analyzing customers‘ value network. Besides, this approach is applied in a real case study. This research contributes to develop and implement a methodology to identify and define network entities of a value network in the context of B2B relationships. To conduct this work, we use a combination of methods and techniques designed to analyze customer data-sets (e.g. RFM and customer migration) and to analyze value network. As a result, this paper develops a new strategic network view of customers and discusses how a company can add value to its customers. The proposed approach provides an opportunity for marketing managers to gain a deep understanding of their business customers, the characteristics and structure of their customers‘ value network. This paper is the first contribution of its kind to focus exclusively on large data-set analytics to analyze value network. This new approach indicates that future research of value network can further gain the data mining tools. In this case study, we identify the value entities of the network and its value flows in the telecommunication organization using the available data in order to show that it can improve the value in the network by continuous monitoring. Today, the biological sciences are one the most important parts of the basic sciences. This explains why most industrial countries are heavily investing in it. In the USA, more than half of all federal government support in science is allocated to the biological sciences. In the EU, more than 22 million people are employed in professions relating to the biological sciences. In Iran, Science and Technology Initiatives consider basic sciences as one of the important parts of science and most universities educate students in the biological sciences. In addition, some incubators and science parks are devoted to biological sciences. To evaluate the research in biological sciences in Iran, we compared the quantity, quality, international cooperation, and the cooperation between academia and industry with Asian and global universities. To do this, we used Leiden ranking results in two time frames, namely 2008-2011 and 2012-2015. The results demonstrate that Iran stands at a relatively good point based on the number of publications. However, greater efforts are necessary to avoid falling behind in terms of rank. Additionally, this study shows that the quality of publications requires significant improvements. Furthermore, international cooperation of universities should be expanded. Poor industrial cooperation between university and industry is mainly due to the lack of related industries. In conclusion, a detailed plan should be developed to ensure leadership in biological sciences and achieve scientific authority in the field Manuscript profile

University and Industry are the most important and influent institutions in social, political and cultural development and society’s economic and technological improvements. The improvement in the relationship between science and technology, the integration of science and industry, the appearance of industries based on science, the use of science as a means to generate competitive advantages on the part of the firms, as well as the globalization of the economy and internationalization of technology, are some of the reasons which justify cooperative relationships between firms and research organizations. Developing relations between Industry and University by cause and positive effect on technological, economic and social changes and transformations was noticed by strategists, politicians and university and industry planners, and was more effort toward creating an effective linkage between university and industry. The 21st century is the century of knowledge-based international economic competition. Industry without online knowledge will surely die and knowledge without applying in industrial operation is not valueless, necessitating the connection between Industry and University. The present paper aims to review the existed theories and models of relationship between Industry, University and other influential institutions in knowledge-based economy. In this study, we reviewed “Triple Helix models TH1, TH2, TH3” (Etzkowitz and Leydesdorff), Quadruple Helix (Carayannis and Campbell), “Quintuple Helix” (Carayannis and Campbell), and represented and reviewed the “Islamic Republic of Iran’s’ Regional Quintuple Helix” (Samadi Miarkolaei), and “N-Tuple of Helices” between Industry and University (Leydesdorff), followed by presenting some suggestions to improve relations between Industry and University. According to many economists, since the multinational enterprises entering the host economy have relatively more modern technologies than domestic firms, developing countries can reduce their technological gap through FDI inflow channel. It should be noted that the technology spillover of foreign investors is a function of domestic capacity for absorbing these technological spillovers. Considering the determining role of industry sector in the world economy, the goal of present study is to investigate the spillover effects of foreign investment from technological perspective, on the performance of industry sector of Iran during 1995-2009 years, in form of development plans. The results of the study show that during the second development plan a considerable correlation did not exist among improving the human capital (as the absorption capacity criteria), absorbing the foreign investment, spillover effects, and the industry sector performance. While in the third development plan, the mentioned correlations were significant. The reasons for the above mentioned significant correlations are as follows: policy requirements of the third plan about improving the research and development in macro-level of the economy, passing new laws of protecting and spreading the foreign direct investment in 2002. It is worth noting that while the above mentioned correlations had improved during the fourth development plan compared to the second plan, it shows weaker performance in comparison with the third plan. As a result, it should be noted that the mentioned correlations in industry sector were not significant during 1995-2002 years. Manuscript profile

Technology transfer is a multi-dimensional phenomenon which has been discussed from scientific, economic and political views not only in developing countries but also in western research institutions for many years. For diminishing the technological gap among advanced and less-developed countries, technology transfer (TT) is a must. TT ,depending on the situation of transferor and transferee, is done through different means. Importing products with high technology, tapping foreign technology, and employing international work force are among the most important methods for TT. Among these and the other general methods for doing so, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) which is usually used by multinational companies, is the main method to access the advanced technologies in industrial countries. FDI usually consists of 3 main elements namely capital, management and technology. All these three elements in order to achieve advancement in developing countries are needed. In this article, having studied the technology transfer and FDI literature and problems of the plastic industry in Iran, 40 affecting variables in 2 main categories were identified. First category known as specialized variables, consists of 8 variables and the other encompasses 32 variables known as general variables. Above-mentioned variables were accommodated in a questionnaire. These questionnaires were distributed among 3 main groups which were active in TT and FDI. These three groups are activist in plastic industry, TT experts and experts in Organization for Investment, Economic & Technical Assistance of Iran. After analyzing the collected data, using exploratory factor analysis technique, 13 main factors were recognized after studying the related literature. Manuscript profile

Three factors act major roles in air industry: first, economies of scale. Second, airframe manufacturing .Third, in the case of airplanes, development, modification and maintenance require extremely intimate manufacturer-customer relations or user-active innovation. In this sense, every passenger jet that takes-off, is in fact a customized product rather than a homogenous commodity. These three are the most important things to pay attention in air industry in this article .here we compare NIS in Japan, Russia, Brazil and analyze what they have done for improving aviation industry. The emergence of petroleum industry in Iran dates back to more than a century ago and the industry has played a major role in the countrys economy from the very beginning. However, when it comes to the required technologies, the industrys dependency on foreign companies is evident. Independent technology development, on the other hand, is not an easy task since it requires a tight interconnection with Intellectual Property (IP) management. The industrys failure in independently developing its technological needs, can hence be partially attributed to mismanagement of IP. This paper investigates the role of IP and its management in an industrial context, focusing on industries actively pursuing high technological capabilities. Afterward, the petroleum industry and the role of IP management therein are reviewed. Finally the achievements of Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) in managing its IP portfolio are introduced. Manuscript profile

The rapid growth of technology, increased risk-taking in global markets and the ever-increasing changes in customer needs have put pressure on new product development teams. There are many risks in the process of developing new products in all industries intrinsically. Therefore, understanding, identifying and ranking the risks is of strategic importance for companies. The purpose of this study is identifying and ranking the risks in the process of developing a new product in Iran's automotive industry, based on the literature of research and specialized interviews conducted with experts, the main indicators have been identified. The main risk indicators in the new product development process are organizational, managerial, financial, manufacturing, marketing, and technical. Moreover, they are related to the phases of new product development. Therefore, these indicators will be ranked in this study. Regarding the relationship between the criteria and the sub-criteria, the DEMETL technique will be used to identify the relationship model, and based on the network of identified relationships, the network analysis process (ANP) technique has been used for ranking the criteria and Sub-criteria with Super Decision software. The result of these techniques suggests that organizational risk is the most important parameter in risk management of the new product development process and the technical risk is the least important. On the other hand, sub-criterion of incorrect planning of resources has the highest importance and sub-criterion of lack of sufficient communications is the least important in the automotive industry in Iran. If universities functioned in a stable environment, the demands for leadership would be modest. Mission, vision, programs, strategies, and policies could simply be put on automatic pilot. Automatic pilots don’t work for universities. Environment is in continual context, and the results and consequences of these changes for the future of universities are profound. Sound, creative and empowering leadership is indispensable, and it spells the difference between productive, sustainable universities and those that are in continual crisis and failing. One need only reflect on the change that has come about in university over the last century. The very mission and scale of universities have been transformed. Universities are altering the ways and means of teaching and learning. New directions and methods in research and service to society are evolving. The costs-benefits of the academic enterprise are in continual fluctuation and open to challenge. The roles of faculty are different, as are campus cultures. The very definition of precisely who is served and touched by universities is in transition. Leading change is clearly the most difficult and taxing challenge faced by university managers and leaders. Occupying a position of leadership and exercising the role of manager and leader are entirely different.Too many positions of leadership are filled by those who occupy the chair and carry the title but fail to lead universities in ways that enable them to adapt to a demanding environment, optimize their mission, align with values, and produce a lasting contribution to society. It does not speak to the position of leadership, to title, or to mere survival skills; rather it speaks to the creative act, the behavior, the hard work, and the skill and competency of leadership and management Manuscript profile

This study is aimed at investigating the role of Organizational Culture in Manager’s Inclination toward Accepting the Green Production Technology. Using simple randomization of administerial and executive staff, a population of 115 Iranian casting industry experts, administrators, and managers in the year 2015 was selected for the present study. The size of the sample required in this study was 88 according to Cochran’s formula and, a sample of 90 members was examined investigated based on Krejcie and Morgan Table. The data were analyzed using structural equations. Attending to the non-normal distribution of the data as indicated by Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, a non-parametric test was used to analyze the relationships. Combined reliability, internal consistency, and internal validity of the model, as well as the predictive validity at construct level, were proved during data analysis. Positive values of the CV Com index were suggestive of the high quality of the model. Finally, the GOF index was found to be 0.723. Considering 0.1, 0.25, and 0.36, proposed as weak, moderate, and strong values for the GOF index respectively, the obtained value of 0.723 indicates the overall appropriateness and good practice of the model and stands in a strong point on a weak-strong continuum. Based on the findings of this study, organizational culture has a direct impact on the acceptance of the Green Production Technology. Manuscript profile

The food distribution industry is one of the high-turnover industries facing many problems in Iran. This research is done with the aim of designing and explaining the model of marketing and sales strategies in the food distribution industry .This study is descriptive, exploratory and using mixed research method. The qualitative research is done using content analysis and consensus of 11 executive and academic experts. In the quantitative part, 81 questionnaires was distributed between marketing and sales managers of 54 distribution companies. The data are analyzed by structural equation modelling method. The research findings show that marketing objectives, pricing strategies and food distribution strategy are respectively the highest factors of marketing strategy in the food distribution industry and the relationship-based competency of the sales team, the sales team performance and the transformational leadership are the most important factors in the sales strategy. Evidence suggests that the presence of each of the three moderators (the threats and opportunities of new competitors, the strengths and weaknesses of the company, and the influential factors of the post-stagnation era) affects the relationship between marketing and sales strategies. The adoption of a comprehensive approach to the components of the marketing and sales strategies and the coordination between them, taking into account the economic downturn, sanctions and the probable situation of the post-stagnation era, are the most important issues that have so far been neglected in designing the marketing and sales strategies of Iranian food distribution companies. Anti-fragility allows the organisation to place itself in a position to benefit from the unknown. The purpose of this study is to identify and evaluate the indicators affecting the Anti-fragility of the insurance industry supply chain and to determine the causal relationships between these indicators. This study has been conducted through an exploratory mixed-method. The Delphi method and the Gray-DEMATEL technique have been utilized in this study. Insurance companies must implement indices, methods, and mechanisms to promote the anti-fragility of their supply chain, though simultaneous attention to all indices is impossible and uneconomic. Therefore, deciding which indices have priority in investment can be accomplished using the research findings and determining the significance of each index, as well as the causal relationships between them. According to the results of the Delphi method, 49 indices for anti-fragility of the supply chain insurance industry, hereunder the eight main processes, have been extracted. Study results also revealed that in order to lead the supply chain insurance industry towards anti-fragility, the "knowledge and information management" and "risk management" processes should at first be considered. According to expert opinions, the "management information system" and "knowledge management implementation" indices have been selected as the most causal indices of anti-fragility of the knowledge and information management process, while the indices of "risk strategy development" and "using the risk database" have been chosen as the most causal indices of risk management anti-fragility. The insurance industry is vital in the country that is affected by green marketing. However, there is no accurate information on the green marketing situation in the country's insurance industry. This research has been tried to identify the main criteria of green marketing evaluation to provide a model for a green marketing audit. In this regard, first, the main criteria were identified and approved by experts through a questionnaire. The final framework consists of 24 sub-criteria that are classified into ten criteria. Then, by using the fuzzy DEMATEL method, the internal relationships between the criteria and the hierarchical analysis method, each criterion and sub-criteria's final weight are obtained. According to the results, among the causes, the criterion of mission has the greatest effect on all criteria and takes the least effect from other criteria. So, this criterion has the most stimulus role, and by optimizing it, we can expect the optimization of other factors. The green sales factor is also strongly influenced by other factors and is optimized by optimizing other factors. Also, the criterion of the mission with an effective weight of 0.23 is the most important, and the criterion of green design with an effective weight of 0.024 is the least important Manuscript profile

Any society to achieve real and sustainable development goals requires continuous interaction between scientific and technical institutions, takes form in the template of university and industry. In fact, universities are generating knowledge and transferring it to scholars, the industry also works to apply knowledge and shares its expectations to university research teams, and they present their ideas, findings and outcomes to the industry. Transportation science also is no exception, and in recent years, it has introduced and implemented new technologies called Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in universal level. Studies in Iran show that transferring knowledge between university and intelligent transportation industry face challenges and obstacles that have led industry owners to the direction of assembling imported components and escaping from universities. This study aims to explanation and interpretation of viewpoints of university and industry section experts about obstacles that affect transferring knowledge between these two institutions in line with implementation of intelligent urban transportation. In this research, firstgy determined effective indices of industry – university interaction obstacles by searching library and documentation resources. Nowadays, In order to reduce environmental footprint, polymer industry has started to develop new materials based on natural resources. Two kinds of biobased polymers can be developed. The first one corresponds to macromolecular structures existing in nature as cellulose, lignin, starch, alginate and so-on that most of them are probably the ones that derived from well-established cellulosic industries. Nevertheless, the thermal stability of these rich in oxygen structures are limited, they release relatively little heat during burning and are often able to char. Other biobased polymers are made up of molecules synthesized from natural resources. Not only polymers but also all additives used to modify their properties can be biobased to meet sustainable development. Intensive research is devoted to develop flame retardant biobased polymers from various raw resources. These flame retardant biobased polymers can be used directly as they are, alone or as a component of a more complex system. This is especially true when the molecules are phosphorus-rich as DNA or phytic acid or charring as lignin. All the efforts reviewed in this paper, show that a major objective is to develop 100 % biobased materials suitable for applications requiring high flame retardancy level. Different biomolecules from the cellulosic industry are also the most promising in flame retardancy. Manuscript profile

With regard to the scale of the financial transactions and the extent of the healthcare industry, it is one of the ideal systems for fraud. Therefore, suitable identifying fraud data is still one of the challenges facing the healthcare providers, although there are several fraud detection algorithms. In the paper, the BIRCH clustering algorithm, as one hierarchical clustering algorithm, is hybridized with a chemical reaction optimization algorithm (CRO). The BIRCH with linear time complexity is able for clustering large scale data and identifying their noises and the CRO, as one of new meta-heuristic algorithm inspired by the chemical reactions in the real world, explores the search space with a dynamic population size based on four reactions such as on-wall ineffective collision, decomposition, inter-molecular ineffective collision and synthesis. Due to the improved BIRCH-CRO removes the internal clustering process of the classic BIRCH and determines the optimal values of its main parameters, it causes that the computational time decreases and accuracy and precision of detecting fraud data increase since its experimental results is compared with the exist unsupervised algorithms. Also, the proposed fraud detection algorithm has the ability to perform on online data and large scale data, and given the obtained results, it provides a proper performance. Manuscript profile

managers, especially human resource managers, are recognized as the most important guides in development programs and they can do this in a desirable way if they, themselves have the learning spirit and have a documentary individual planning for development and excellence. In our country, despite the attention to the development of managers in different fields, the approach of determining how to implement this development is not very relevant in terms of the specific competencies associated with the organizational domain and business environment and this issue has also been neglected in the banking system. The purpose of this research was to provide a pattern of the individual development plan for HR managers of the banking industry and to explain the components of the development plan and the relationships between them. To provide this framework, the literature and background, models, views and research on the individual development plan were widely studied and the primary pattern was designed, using the results of this step. Then, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 14 senior HR managers in the banking system, and the data were analyzed by using the software analysis (QSR Nvivo). In the following, A group interview was conducted in the form of a focus group with six human resource specialists in the banking industry and professors in this field to validate the proposed framework. Finally, in order to validate and prioritize these components, distribution of the questionnaire has been considered among 32 high-ranking HR managers of the banking system as another step of research. In the presented pattern in this study, the influential factors (strategy, culture and organizational texture), success factors (organizational requirements, design requirements and individual requirements), and Results (cognitive, attitude, skill and performance) are as the components of the individual development planning. The aim of this study was to design and explain the model of promoting the professional development of senior managers in the Iranian telecommunications industry. For this purpose, the exploratory mixed research method was used. In the qualitative section, in order to be aware of the main components of the research, semi-structured interviews with 17 senior managers of the telecommunications industry and faculty members of the university who potentially had more information about the professional development of managers. By analyzing the information through systematic coding method, the findings were identified as 5 main components including "individual maturity, organizational maturity, educational maturity, research maturity and professional maturity" and 25 sub-factors. In the quantitative part of the research and based on qualitative findings, a researcher-made questionnaire was designed and administered on a sample of 172 senior managers who were selected using the non-probability sampling method. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by four experts and its reliability was calculated by Chronbach’s alpha with a coefficient of / 876. Indicates the coherence of the questions and the significant lack of dispersion between them. Data were analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis using AMOS software. The results confirmed the dimensions of the extracted model. Finally, the current situation of professional development of senior managers in each of the dimensions of the model was studied, which according to the results, it was found that there is a significant difference between all calculated means and the hypothetical average. Calculating the difference between the means also showed that research maturity and professional maturity have a negative difference and senior managers of Iran's telecommunications industry have a significantly lower-than average level of growth that should be in the program. Educational considerations to be considered. Manuscript profile

The purpose of the current study is to identify barriers and challenges of managers coaching success in the petrochemical industry for which mixed methodology is utilized. In the qualitative section, Clarke and Braun’s (2006) thematic analysis was used to extract the indicators of such barriers; it means that by studying current studies in this regard, basic, organizing and pervasive barriers were coded. Ultimately, a 40 – item questionnaire was obtained by using thematic analysis while the third-order factor analysis with partial lease squares approach was utilized to test the questionnaire. The research population consists of 167 petrochemical managers, deputies, and heads of whom 116 were selected by using the Cochran formula and simple random sampling method while the SMART PLS software package was used to analyze data. The third-order factor analysis findings indicated weakness in communicative and problem-solving skills. Weakness in feedback providing skills, improper managerial style, lack of setting pragmatic goals and obliging to them, improper coach’s behavior and vision, coachee’s propensity to commanding style, lack of trust to coaches, lack of coachee’s motivation, improper organizational culture and unawareness, structural weakness and lack of senior managers’ support, improper HR supportive systems and lack of supports by natural culture can be seen as the barriers on managers coaching success in the petrochemical industry. Additionally, findings indicate that barriers related to coach (0.91), intra-organizational barriers (0.81), inter-organizational barriers (0.68) and barriers related to coachee (0.55) have the highest and lowest impact on managers coaching success respectively. The final result is that the barriers to managers coaching success-tested model enjoys proper validity and reliability and can be used in the petrochemical industry. Manuscript profile

Sampling is available in this study and has been done among customers of stores and supermarkets located in Iraq and in the cities of Najaf and Karbala, Baghdad, Basra, Nasiriyah, Hillah and Kohl, according to the Cochran's formula, 384 Iraqi buyers have been selected. The data collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire that is validated by experts and its reliability through Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 863 /. Confirmed. Structural equation modeling has been used to analyze the data. The results show that "market overlap", which includes "marketing, facilitation and psychological factors" alone, cannot affect the intention to buy Iraqi customers alone and must be "internalized culture" which acts as a mediating variable. And "religious factors and values and preferences" have been used to influence the purchase of Iraqi consumers. Manuscript profile

As a service industry that has significantly expanded in recent years, tourism plays an important role in developing many countries, including Iran, which enjoys various unique historical, religious, cultural, and natural sites and a four-season climate. Therefore, this study set out to examine the efficiency of Iran's tourism industry using tourism data regarding its 31 provinces during the years 2011 to 2017, including the information concerning the budget allocated to the tourism sector, the number of accommodation places, the number of tourist attraction sites in each province, and the number of domestic and foreign tourists. To this end, Fuzzy Data Envelopment Analysis was used to analyze the collected data. The study's results showed that Ardabil, Tehran, Kohkiluyeh Boyer-Ahmad, and Gilan had had the efficiency in terms of tourism throughout the study period, with their average efficiency as a primary criterion for assessing the efficiency of the country's tourism industry reported as average. Moreover, the analysis of the tourism industry's efficiency in different climates suggested that the highest efficiency belonged to the temperate and humid climate, and the lowest one was related to the hot and dry climate. Therefore, it seems that facilitating transportation infrastructure and providing welfare facilities, especially in provinces with low efficiency, could help use the potentials of different provinces to develop the country's tourism industry. "Contrary to automotive, commodity-based, and money-oriented cities, a people-oriented city is an organic and systematic city based on human virtues and commune where people are concerned about each others’ rights. In such a city, humans are the main focus of urban planners, urban developers, and, most importantly, municipal decision-makers and executives. Therefore, here the biological, spiritual, and psychological needs of humans are the fundamental elements taken into account by urban management. This city, then, could unite urban spaces and tourists. Considering its great potentials, Yazd could be a good case for tourism development, building people-oriented cities, and improving the desirability of urban life. This qualitative-quantitative study sought to explore the feasibility of building a people-oriented city in Yazd province based on urban planning and the causal factors involved in this regard, intending to attract more tourists to this region. To this end, 14 interviews were conducted with tourism and urban planning experts, out of which 19 factors involved in building such a city were identified. The causal relationship between the identified factors was examined through a mixed-method approach, using the fuzzy cognitive mapping technique. Despite potential tourism capacities in Iran, few foreign tourists visit Iran compared to the competing countries due to the lack of infrastructure, the existence of legal barriers, and the sanctions imposed against Iran. As considerable growth in the application of information technology to tourism is one of the main trends in this industry, this applied exploratory study sought to identify future scenarios of business intelligence in Iran’s tourism industry using both qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the collected data. The population of the study comprised tourism, future study, and business intelligence experts, out of whom the intended participants were selected via judgmental sampling. The study was conducted in three phases. In the first phase, thirty effective driving forces of the prospective business intelligence in the tourism industry were identified by reviewing the related literature and interviewing the experts. In the next phase, the identified driving forces were screened and prioritized using the EDAS. To this end, the driving forces were screened via the Binominal test, twenty of which were eliminated from the analysis, accordingly. Then, the remaining ten driving forces were assessed using the EDAS method. Finally, the type of decision-making culture and the arrival of foreign tourists were selected as the final driving forces, which, together with the application of root definitions and the organization of consultation workshop, formed the basis of offering four scenarios, namely the prosperity, heterogeneity, the spider web, and the ice ages. Accordingly, the prosperity and ice age scenarios illustrate the best and worst conditions for the future of business intelligence in tourism, respectively. Manuscript profile

Sustainable consumption and production patterns (SCP) play a crucially important role in the sustainable implementation of all economic activities. Therefore, this study specifically sought to develop a structural model to assess the driving forces involved in establishing a sustainable consumption and production pattern and to improve the sustainable aspects of the supply chain in tourism. To this end, first, fourteen consumption and production-related factors were selected and developed using the relevant literature and the experts’ views. Then, the collected data were analyzed using the Gray Relational Analysis, considering the fact that this model helps identify the causal relationships between the selected stimuli and assess the power of their mutual interactions. According to the study’s findings, ten influencing driving forces and four influenced ones were identified as the factors involved in establishing a sustainable consumption and production pattern in the tourism industry. Accordingly, the highly influential driving forces that readily affect other driving forces were identified as the "Government policies and regulations for developing an integrated system of sustainable consumption and production", "The managerial Support and involvement in implementing a sustainable consumption and production pattern", "Initiatives and advertising campaigns developed by various tourism enterprises for implementing a sustainable consumption and production pattern", and “Gaining market advantage and improving the overall performance in the industry". Identifying the causes and effects involved in implementing a sustainable consumption and production pattern in tourism’s supply chain, the findings of this study can help managers easily analyze relevant issues in this regard and thus enhance their overall performance by recognizing the cause and effect driving forces. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) rely on external sources of knowledge more than large enterprises due to knowledge and financial limitations for innovation, and therefore, collaboration with the university is more important for SMEs. However, history of the recent decades of university-industry collaboration in Iran shows that this collaboration is more focused on large industries. In the current research, using the grounded theory, after interviewing experts and reviewing relevant documents, the model of developing the university -SME’s collaboration was formulated. Based on the results of data analysis, in order to develop the collaboration between universities and SME’s, it is necessary to set up an Internet site, offices at the provincial and national levels to manage this relationship; Because SME’s due to limited resources cannot create organizations within themselves to communicate with the university. To increase the effectiveness of joint projects, the university should be connected to a network of SME’s instead of one firm, and diagnostic teams consisting of academic experts should identify the common problems of these networks. Finally, in order to implement improvement projects, it is necessary to attract the participation of all public, public and private institutions, due to the limited financial resources of SME’s Manuscript profile

Mīr Abulqāsim Mīr Findiriskī (1562-1640), Iranian Philosopher of the Safavid era, has presented some discussions on theoretical music in his most famous work entitled Risālah Ṣanāiyyah, which has made him unique among the philosophers of this period. However, unlike the philosophers of early Islamic period, Mīr Findiriskī uses the example of theoretical music in order to explain different types of profession rather than teach music based on written texts. The present paper aims to investigate Mīr Findiriskī’s philosophical views in relation to music as a profession following the qualitative method of content analysis and using historical and library resources. Here, while providing a brief historical review of Mīr Findiriskī’s life, works, and thoughts, the authors have explained the theoretical foundations of the treatise and the technical terms used there in order to clarify the writer’s intention of resorting to the example of theoretical music. The most important implication of music-related discussions in this work is that, during this period, scholars made a clearly explicit distinction between the knowledge and practice of music. In fact, it was possible for prominent religious scholars to have complete mastery over theoretical music but avoid listening to music, teaching it, or practically dealing with it and warn their seminary students against any practical involvement with music. This fact can be considered as one of the clear signs of the separation of the knowledge and practice of music during the Safavid era. Manuscript profile

The telecommunications industry is one of the most competitive industries in the world. Because of the high cost of customer acquisition and the adverse effects of customer churn on the company's performance, customer retention becomes an inseparable part of strategic decision-making and one of the main objectives of customer relationship management. Although customer churn prediction models are widely studied in various domains, several challenges remain in designing and implementing an effective model. This paper addresses the customer churn prediction problem with a practical approach. The experimental analysis was conducted on the customers' data gathered from available sources at a telecom company in Iran. First, partial churn was defined in a new way that exploits the status of customers based on criteria that can be measured easily in the telecommunications industry. This definition is also based on data mining techniques that can find the degree of similarity between assorted customers with active ones or churners. Moreover, a hybrid feature selection approach was proposed in which various feature selection methods, along with the crowd's wisdom, were applied. It was found that the wisdom of the crowd can be used as a useful feature selection method. Finally, a predictive model was developed using advanced machine learning algorithms such as bagging, boosting, stacking, and deep learning. The partial customer churn was predicted with more than 88% accuracy by the Gradient Boosting Machine algorithm by using 5-fold cross-validation. Comparative results indicate that the proposed model performs efficiently compared to the ones applied in the previous studies. Manuscript profile

In recent decades, the outlook for economic activities in the tourism and hospitality industries has been increasingly unstable. Despite the high number of articles published in sustainability science with different approaches and topics, it has been extremely scattered. The purpose of the preliminary review is to provide a structured overview of published articles related to the evaluation of sustainability performance in the tourism and hospitality industry and documentation in terms of the current state of the literature, categorization of published articles, analysis and linking to the studied trends. and also, to highlight gaps and provide scientific research recommendations. The method and investigation in this proposed research include two consecutive methodological steps. First, how to identify articles as a data collection approach and then how to analyze these articles. In this article, the results show that the sustainability assessment models in the tourism and hospitality industry should be more balanced, criteria and relationships should be defined in an appropriate way, and the subjectivity of subjective criteria inherent in sustainability indicators should be considered. To deal with this mentality, other analytical methods and group decision-making techniques can be used that can deal with uncertainty, conflicting indicators and linguistic evaluations and can be used in future works. By presenting research gaps, this review encourages researchers to develop practically applicable sustainability performance assessment frameworks to help assess and compare the degree of sustainability and lead to more sustainable business practices. This review defines the sustainability performance assessment of tourism and hospitality companies for the first time, examines the gap between sustainability accounting and sustainability assessment, and provides a structured overview of innovative research recommendations on the integration of analytical assessment methods into unique sustainability conceptual frameworks provides. In recent years, growing international concerns about environmental sustainability and climate change are pushing all tourism and hospitality companies (green) to challenge and integrate environmental issues into their strategy and business activities. give, the purpose of the preliminary review of this article; Investigating the main drivers of innovation in systematic literature (green marketing). Considering that the number of tourism and hospitality companies (green-oriented) that develop green products is growing rapidly and consumers (customers) have shown an increasing interest in these products. Therefore, knowing the main characteristics of green products, identifying the factors affecting the price and willingness of consumers to pay more for them, sales channels and advertising tools (4Ps of green marketing) will be very useful for companies that intend to design, develop and market. Green products For this reason, a deep understanding of green marketing promotes, on the one hand, cleaner production through the development of green products and, on the other hand, sustainable consumption through their successful marketing. This study uses a systematic literature review method. Specifically, this paper analyzes: 1) dominant definitions of green marketing (and related concepts) and their evolution over time, 2) different steps to create a green marketing strategy, and 3) characteristics of green marketing mix elements. After searching academic publications in three databases (Absco, Scopus and Web of Science) and selecting publications based on their relevance to the stated objectives, 114 studies were included in the review. The results show that the definition of green marketing has changed over time due to the growing relevance of environmental sustainability. According to green marketing strategy, several ways to segment consumers have been identified. Studies are converging on green brand positioning rather than green product positioning, and many of them see it as a chance for differentiation. Referring to the green marketing mix, the results show that: There are many types of green products. And as such, it has important implications for tourism industry managers, researchers and students. Manuscript profile

Today, the tourism industry has emerged as one of the fastest growing industries in the world. Despite its economic contribution, the growth and activities of the tourism industry have side effects. The activities related to the tourism and hospitality industry have caused pollution, produced a lot of waste and reduced natural resources. The main purpose of the preliminary investigation of this study is to integrate the developed theory of planned behavior and belief-norm value as basic concepts in understanding the intention to visit Parsian Green Tourist Hotel in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. The method and investigation of this study was collected online in the form of a questionnaire of 160 items. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique was used to evaluate the study framework and the hypothetical relationship. The originality and primary value in this study shows that the theory of planned behavior and the theory of value-belief-norm integrate well the understanding of the tourist's intention to visit Green Parsian Hotel in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. Importantly, the theory of planned behavior and value-belief-norm theory have been practical and useful in predicting the tourist's intention to visit a green hotel. In the study of practical concepts, it provides valuable results for green hotel operators to create effective strategies to attract tourists to visit green hotels. Also, the findings and results at the level of this study confirm that tourists' intention to stay in a green hotel is directly influenced by their perceived mental norms and behavioral control. In addition, this study confirms the insignificant relationship between green trust, personal norms and tourists' intention to stay. On the other hand, perceived ethics, responsibility, willingness to pay more, and perceived consumer effectiveness were significant in explaining customer subjective norms, personal norms, and perceived behavioral control. The purpose of this article is to identify and present a high-risk investment model for insurance institutions in order to establish a risky insurance investment fund. The insurance industry is one of the strongest and most important supporting institutions of financial institutions, through risk coverage and investment of technical reserves in financial and real assets and the implementation of profitable economic activities, it plays a very important role in the dynamics of financial markets. Creating a decision-making model in a fuzzy environment provides this possibility for decision-makers so that they can more easily comment on the evaluation of options and determining the importance of decision-making criteria. In this article, it has been tried to identify and introduce the most important factors and effective factors of venture capital (VC) using the technique of fuzzy network analysis process in the insurance industry. The data needed for the research has been collected through in-depth interviews with a number of experts and researchers in the insurance industry, as well as a questionnaire. Due to the lack of independence and the existence of dependence between the effective factors, the method of fuzzy network analysis process was used to identify the possible dependencies between factors and measure them for the development of the VC model, and the results were prioritized with the method of non-fuzzy network analysis process. Is. The findings of the research show that operating cycle indicators, total asset turnover ratio, total investment return, loss factor, asset-liability ratio are ranked first to fifth among VC indicators. VCs help the insurance industry establish internal accounting rules and standardize their financial statements. With reference to comparative policy studies and the level of competitiveness throughout the global value chain (GVCs), the effect of related policies can be traced. This article aims at studying industrial policy of local content requirements (LCRs), which are among the most prevalent as well as primary policiese used in any development model. This has been done to study the effect of LCRs on upgrading the position of a country’s automotive industry concerning GVCs through a variable- oriented approach. China and Mexico have been picked out in accordance with sample selection approach in the systems encompassing a great deal of similarities as well as the most similar outcomes. Further to the historical review of the development process of the automotive industry, the effect of this policy on the three indicators FVASH, REII and DVAFXSH has been carried out by logistic regression. These indicators determine the level of competitiveness throughout GVCs. The logistic regression shows a significant logit relationship between the LCRs policy status and the DVAFXSH variable, but no significant relationship is observed for the other two variables. The trend review also shows that after the implementation and removal of LCRs, the FVASH and REII indices have not changed much, but the DVAFXSH has increased, especially in Mexico. It shows that the systematic implementation of LCRs can have significant effects in upgrading the position of countries in GVCs in the automotive sector, through DVAFXSH. A careful review of the literature showed that there is no model for how to succeed in commercialization and its relationship with interorganizational participation in the ICT sector. Therefore, this issue was determined as the goal of the research. By reviewing the research background; Factors affecting the success of participation-based commercialization including internal and external drivers, participation, esources, dynamic capabilities, executive mechanisms and extraction performance were drawn in the form of a conceptual model. Then, by studying multy-case study, technological projects of ICT Research Institute, including (Antivirus Padvish, Native search engine project, SOC native operations center, communication equipment POTN) and content analysis, main and secondary themes of the model were extracted. Then, using a focus group consisting of experts, the results were validated and themes (propositions) were confirmed. The relationship between the components was also confirmed in the panel of experts. The final model is a combination of these factors that, according to the indigenous experiences of Iran, has led to the success of commercialization and can be the basis for policy-making for successful knowledge-based products. The scope of application of elastomers is largely due to their ability to be combined with a large number of chemicals and additives such as softening aids, vulcanizing chemicals, aging protectors, fillers, softeners, sponging agents and so on. Basically, the nature of an elastomer determines the main properties of the product from which the elastomer is prepared, but these properties can be significantly changed by using the types of materials mentioned above and their different amounts in the product formula. On the other hand, chemicals and fillers affect the behavior of elastomeric mixtures during mixing and processing and make their vulcanization possible, also, they make it possible to change the properties of vulcanized mixtures on a large scale and use them in many applications. A mixologist often uses all the opportunities and facilities available to him in order to more easily achieve to the desired characteristics in a mixture. Achieving these characteristics requires a high level of knowledge about chemicals and additives used in the preparation of a compound. Considering the importance of chemicals in the rubber industry, in this article we tried to describe comprehensively the types of chemicals needed to make rubber, including rubbers, fillers, softeners, activators, antioxidants, curing agents and process aids. Objective: The brand is a set of mental nodes or functional, emotional, intellectual implications and advantages that occupy the mind of the target market. Associating the meanings and linking images and signs with the brand are some ofthe advantages and benefits of a brand. It is the advantages or benefits and the brand that become the basis of the decision to buy a product. If enough attention is not paid to the brand decline and failure of the brand will occur, and the revival of failed brands which is called brand revival is a very difficult task. The current research aims to identify the dimensions and components of brand revival in the textile industry. Methodology: The method of this research is sequential mixed in the form of pragmatism paradigm, which started with qualitative method and data-based strategy and then ended with quantitative method and causal strategy. The method of data analysis in the qualitative part of coding and the statistical population include 17 managers of companies active in the textile industry of Iran, who have been interviewed using the snowball method (reaching the theoretical saturation limit). In the quantitative part, structural equation modeling was used. In order to evaluate the validity of the model, managers and distributors of the textile industry were considered as the statistical population, and random cluster method was used for sampling. Findings: To determine the dimensions of brand revivalInterviews with 17 elite experts in the field of brand management and prominent textile industry managers, were performed by snowball method and the theoretical saturation limit was achieved. Also, the validity and reliability of the interview protocol was checked and confirmed through the Guba method. In the quantitative part, in order to determine the contribution and weighting of the dimensions of brand revival, all managers, sales and marketing employees and distributors formed a statistical population, the size of the sample was 110 randomly selected according to the Morgan table method. Investigating convergent validity with AVE criterion, divergent validity was evaluated with structural equation method and total reliability was calculated and confirmed by Cronbach's alpha test of 0.962. In order to analyze the data, confirmatory factor analysis was performed in PLS. The findings showed that the influencing factors include 166 components (open code), 114 dimensions (axial code) in the form of 16 factors extracted from library sources and the opinions of managers and experts. Conclusion: In this research, for the first time, the brand revival structure in the textile industry was designed and tested. Applying this method is completely different from the previous studies that were designed to understand the prerequisites and dimensions of the brand. In this research, based on the data model of the Glaser foundation and the method of structural equations, a fourteen-factor model in the form of 114 functional components was presented for revitalizing the brand of textile industries Manuscript profile

The purpose of this paper is to identify and present a high-risk investment model for insurance institutions in order to establish a risky insurance investment fund. In this paper, it has been tried to identify and introduce the most important factors and effective factors of venture capital (VC) using the technique of fuzzy network analysis process in the insurance industry. In other words, VC support modifies the "hard" and "soft" information required for insurance. Manuscript profile

Fereshte Gholami Hossein Aslipour Gholamreza Kazemian Shirvan Saeed Zarandi Abstract With reference to comparative policy studies and the level of competitiveness throughout the global value chain (GVCs), the effect of related policies can be traced. Further to the historical review of the development process of the automotive industry, focusing on the LCRs policy, the effect of this policy on the three indicators FVASH, REII and DVAFXSH has been carried out by logistic regression.
