Increased productivity at universities is dependent upon the amount of research and development done which in terms of theoretical principles is called institutional research. In recent decades, the most important Iran’s economic problem has been low investment in the creation of knowledge and promotion of productivity. It is desirable for Iran’s universities to become knowledge based. So IR is the most suitable approach to achieve this goal. While the unit of Institutional Research of the world's most prestigious universities is created to strengthen university-industry collaboration, , it has been neglected in Iran’s universities. This research attempts to explain the concept of IR and identify the methods which can be implemented through the study of theoretical principles and Delphi technique. Manuscript profile

Publishing research articles in contemporary period is an appropriate chance to share research findings of different scholars and informing audiences about new scientific achievements. Although their publishing have been quantitatively increasing in recent decade, there were no due attention to their assessment and criticism. This article, with a descriptive-analytic method, assesses those kinds of research articles published from 1381/2001 to 1390/2011. The research expresses advantages and disadvantages of these articles and presents a picture of the status of scientific article writing in domain of literary studies. In so doing, 345 articles were selected as examples and most important subjects under focus of authors were identified and were classified in frame of text-based, context-based, author-based, reader-based, and different articles. Moreover, patterns of cooperation between authors, and quality and quantity of used resources in these articles were presented in different charts and tables. The present research criticizes and surveys the process of researches made on Nezami’s works from different aspects and in a variety of fields including analysis, rewriting, text explanation, bibliography, finding verses, correlation and writing with a particular selection in mind. In brief, the approach used in researches made on Nezami, through the edit and compile of his life story and beliefs and general ideas all within a traditional approach, is changed into two fields; criticism and analysis of Nezami’s works in a modern style, and rewriting the poetries in the Panj-Ganj (five treasures). In the domain of criticism and analysis, the poetic verses of Khosro va Shirin has the most potential for criticism and analysis due to these reasons: high usage of expressive and rhetorical arts, the function of story elements in a modern style, the reflection of folk culture, and the presence of many allusions, and pleasant proverbs. And Nezami’s Book of Poetries (the major book of poetry known as Divan), possesses the least research due to lack of a reliable corrected text. In the field of rewritings, Leili and Majnoon- a versified story- has earned the highest attention of the adapters of Nezami’s works due to having a simple story plot, a heavenly love story and its high fame among the public. Makhzanol-Asrar, has not been noticed much due to its complicated language, its mystical themes, and having many narratives and stories. Manuscript profile

The dominant idea of development as economic growth has considered the formation of human capital for achieving the end of economic growth as the main function of higher education institutions in the development process. But the empirical failure of this overly simplified idea and the emergence of other critical development theories have brought the necessity of applying different policy priorities in reconsidering the role of key institutions such as higher education to the fore. The purpose of this article is to study human development theory from the viewpoint of political thought and extract its policy implications in the realm of higher education; Thus the implicative narrative theory has been used as a conceptual framework and implication research as a methodology. According to the findings of the article, the political thought of the human development theory by going beyond the binary of individual and society, structure and agency, fact and value, the private and common good, or state and market, has emphasized and concentrated on their complementary role in designing and evaluating a good society. In addition to the importance of higher education institutions in human capital formation for achieving the end of economic growth, human development theory highlights the other key and neglected functions of higher education such as developing freedom, democracy, and social justice in the development process. Throughout history, numerous movements have been formed in various societies, and after almost all of them, thinkers have emerged who have judged the failure of that movement and theorized it. Therefore, this question arises as to why, despite the influence of movements, the subject is persuaded to its failure? To find the answer, Jacques Lacan's psycho-socio-political theories, which have a post-structural background, have been used as a method. Also, the constitutional movement, as an example, has been chosen as a case study for applying Lacan theories. The possible answer to this question, based on Lacan theories, refers to the importance of the subject's desire and fantasy in human dynamism and movement. The research findings show that the subject's belief in failure is inevitable. But this belief is not related to reality but is rooted in the perpetual and ontological gap between the subject and the other. Manuscript profile

Iranian academic sector is approaching research commercialization, although, creation of university spin-offs is an initial experience in this sector. Legislation of “knowledge based firms support and commercialization of invention and innovations” has provided great opportunity for the creation of this type of firms in universities and research institutes. But universities and research institutes are still required to complete their infrastructures including rules and regulations needed for the creation of spin-offs. One of the most important of these is "allocation of university spin-off equity among their owners" regulation. Owners of university spin-offs are universities and research institutes, inventor researchers, investors and external entrepreneurs. Allocation of spin-off equity among these parties satisfactorily, is one of the important challenges to spin-off creation in universities and research institutes. This article first tries to identify founders and other parties that are gradually added to owners of spin-off companies. Then stakeholder's equity determinant factors will be discussed. Finally implementation of a framework for the allocation of spin-off companies' equity among their owners will be raised. 10 universities in America, Britain and Canada with spin-off creation experience have been studied in this article. In a knowledge-based economy, products and companies live and die on information and the most successful companies are the ones who use their intangible assets better and faster. Organizations are aware that knowledge is their most valuable and strategic resource in the present business environment. Knowledge management and intellectual capital approaches have become critical for universities, mainly due to the fact that universities’ main goals are the production and knowledge dissemination. Managers know they have to manage the process of learning and measure its outcomes and knowledge-based organizational resources, if they want to be competitive. Intellectual capital (IC) is a new approach which helps us face with barriers and problems of higher education system. It is the key successful element for knowledge-based organizations such as universities-. The managers of universities have to identify their IC, measure and manipulate it effectively. However, in the past few years, the problem of quantifying and accounting the value and explaining the components of the organization’s intellectual capital it has been questioned. Thus, this research tries to present indicators to measure structural capital (as one of the main parts of intellectual capital) by reviewing different frameworks in this field. At the end, we identified three Dimensions including Infrastructural Capital, Research and Development Capital, Knowledge Infrastructural Capital, using eight components and 50 indicators to measure these parameters. Scientific researches considered as one of the main and the most important ways in finding the obscure and hidden facts about the universe as well as discovering new resources and strategies for problems and necessities of human being and the society. in line with reaching the country's development objectives, the role of universities and research centers in establishing social institutions and foundations which are in deal with such centers, is highly effective. Comprehensive and expanded protection of policymakers and officials from science and technology development centers and parks in addition to adopting new managing methods, would lay the necessary grounds for achieving the associated objectives. It is obvious that filling the existing gap between universities and other sectors such as industry, agriculture, health, etc, As well as transfer of knowledge and technology through such centers would be facilitated. That is, the science and technology parks accelerate the economic knowledge-based growth and development. Science and technology parks as research and development units can solve lots of existing problems and improve the situation and condition. With a glance to some of the units' activities it can be grasped that they have not been fully utilized yet. From many important factors, the lack of sound resource and facilitates distribution based on priorities, and lack of required decision adoption by innovation and technology policy makers and planners, different communication, law, and regulation problems lead to lack of suitable utilization. One of the patterns which presented for solving such a problem is the utilization of intermediary organizations and institutions in the cycle of the research to the market which could be realigned through establishing science and technology parks. Science and technology parks play essential role in creating and developing technology institution and professional research centers. Farther more, such R&D units would facilitate the aggregation and technical cooperation with its complimentary units such as engineering services companies, engineering and designing institutes, and professional research centers. Also, it provides suitable connection for funding and addressing the groups adjusted with R&D activities. Technology transfer is one of the important and fundamental issues that can lead to technology promotion and moving toward sustainable development. Technology Transfer is a practical usage of academic researches, to transfer ideas and researches into technology or products. This process needs cooperation of more than one party. In technology transfer one side is researchers and academic body that have new ideas and the other side is industry that makes profit. Due to the rapid growth of new technology, and its importance in terms of welfare and economic growth, ignoring technology transfer may cause recession. Using academic ideas, transferring them and doing researches on industry is called Technology Transfer. Biotechnology industry, with a wide range of applications, allocates large part of the global market to itself. We select this industry regarding to importance and increasing growth of Biotechnology. We are going to identify institutional and environmental determinants of university technology transfer. Institutional factors are those which firm can control them and are surrounded by firm. But environmental factors are those which can affect the firm and can’t be controlled by the firm. Then by using eclectic method we are able to identify some variables. In qualitative part by using interview, we recognize some variables, and then we distribute 60 questionnaires among biotech researchers. Consequently, we settle institutional and environmental factors, and clarify that institutional factors are more significant than environmental ones. Manuscript profile

RTOs' missions are for technology development and carry out complicated commercialization processes. Commercialization of technological research findings is so costly for RTOs that they can not carry out commercialization process by themselves. In the other hand, industries which are in competitive environment, for sustainable growth require superior new products and technologies which enable them in competitive scope. Industries often have frequent financial and human resources and this leads to their advantage to commercialization process, because those assets provide possibility for adapting huge risk. The lost ring in this chain is the link between RTOs as the developer of technology and industries as the adapter of technology. Entrepreneurship could solve this problem by providing this lost ring and linking RTOs and industries. Corporate entrepreneurship is one of the entrepreneurship types and is defined as some entrepreneurship among the available corporate companies. Entrepreneurship looks for introducing new products and organizational systems in the scope of corporate. Entrepreneurship has five different kinds and each of them carries out entrepreneurship in its own style. Among these, Acquisitive and Opportunistic entrepreneurship have the highest fitness to enrich and enhance coexisting relation between industries and RTOs to commercialize technological findings. Based on national innovation system, commercialization of the research achievements is of great importance and possesses a special stance in the scientific, technological, economic and social systems. Despite the importance and value of commercialization of the research results, there are always many issues and problems that prevent fulfillment of commercialization goals on the commercialization process. One of the main barriers of commercialization is inefficiency of methods and lack of applying scientific-experimental methodology. This paper, using hybrid methodology of documental review and survey research, with regard to concepts and models of the commercialization of research achievements, proposes pilot plan research as an essential solution for a technical-economical feasibility study, risk management and linkage of the research achievements to industrial production, and also develops its process. Based on the suggested solution, once the scientific research result in a systematic form is attained, pilot plan research with a specific road map and business plan is achieved so that the final production with more confidence, less amount of risk and expenses is prepared for mass production. Hence this paper aim to develop a directive model for R&D centers in Iran to improve efficiency and effectiveness of such centers. Through Step by step executing of such model, R&D organization could be certain that each of their ideas (if being opportunity) will locate in a directive and default road to arrive the market. This will lead to a clear position to research plan in the R&D organization. The important characteristic of the model is that Market research, marketing, and commercialization are some of the stages of that which lead to inhibit of accumulation of no applicable knowledge in R&D organization. Science parks are known tools for incubation of knowledge-based firms. Recently, policy makers of science and technology of our country has paid attention to these institutions. The topic of this research was investigating the impact of these institutions on the development of knowledge-based companies and identifying the key factors resulting in earning competitive advantages by located firms. After reviewing many researches in this field of study, key effective factors were identified and by using the experts, these factors were revised according to the circumstance of our country and placed in a proper framework. The framework consists of four aspects including: “human resource”, “R&D and technology transfer”, “facilities” and “market development” and twelve factors. The framework applied in Sheikh Bahai Science and Technology Park and the results obtained showed that in this park, facilities aspect needs special attention. This aspect had the highest significance in quadruple aspects and was the only aspect affecting Sheikh Bahai Science and Technology Park. Other aspects such as, “human resource”, “R&D and technology transfer”, and “market development” were effects of the aspects. The results of this research show that the development of knowledge based firms located in this park depends on facilities such as financial resources and primary physical infrastructure than human resource, research activities and marketing services. We suggest using this framework to find the aspects and factors influential the creation of competitive advantages and determining the action and planning priorities for other science and technology parks in Iran. K nowledge sharing is a key ability to achieve sustainable competitive advantage in today’s turbulent environments. Effective knowledge sharing among employees may considerably influence organizational performance of organizations. Therefore, this study intends to examine impacts of quality of work life on forming knowledge-sharing behavior in a research center in Iran. This is a descriptive research and an applied research from objective perspective and a survey due to data gathering method. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyze research hypotheses. A questionnaire was developed for measuring quality of work life, knowledge-sharing attitude, intention, and behavior based on prior research and distributed in target population. An analysis of 317 completed and valid questionnaires showed that quality of work life has a positive significant effect on knowledge-sharing attitude and behavior in studied organization. In addition, attitude toward knowledge sharing can enhance the tension toward knowledge sharing which in turn can improve real knowledge-sharing behaviors. Moreover, research findings indicated that among quality of work life dimensions, constitutionalism in work is the most influential factor of knowledge sharing. Finally, according to research findings, practical implications for managers and knowledge management practitioners as well as suggestions for future research to fill the research gap are proposed. Due to the Research and Technology Organizations (RTOs) lack of relation with industry and their tendency to do activities more closer to the universities, which had led to their inefficiency in carrying out their primary mission, since thirty years ago, governments in many countries by cuts the RTOs governmental budget have directed them to financing through industry research budgets, and in some cases, through cut the state budgets, the RTOs were forced to acquiring income (in order to self-sufficiency). Accordingly, another type of research organizations as Contract Research Organizations (CRO) was formed. In this paper, in order to answer the question of whether a contract research model is consistent with the RTOs mission in technology development or not. First, the issue had reviewed historically and then the process of contract research and independent research and their characteristics were investigated and based on that the conclusions and recommendations are offered. The results shows that carrying out the technology development research by the RTOs in the form of a contract research between the industry firms and the RTOs, due to conflict with the requirements of technology development and working conditions of the RTOs is not a good choice and independent research approach is recommended as the most suitable method. One of the most important concerns which have coerced organizations to illustrate tendency toward entrepreneurial activities is survival and growth. This is, thus, to assert that time is ripe for investigating the relationships between entrepreneurial behavior and performance. This study is aimed at investigating the relationship between entrepreneurial orientations and organizational performance of the Islamic Research Institute for Culture and Thought in 2013. To do so, descriptive and correlative research methodologies were used to examine the relationships among these variables. Statistical population of this study contains a number of university staffs at different managerial levels, members of Faculty Board, and experts, who are estimated to constitute 110 persons from the total number of 320. Pearson correlation and multivariable regression methods were used to analyze data. Moreover, Structural Equation Model (SEM) was employed to affirm the model. Results show that there is a positive and direct relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and organizational performance. In addition, there is indirect relationship among innovation, leadership, risk-taking, and aggressive competition as aspects of entrepreneurial orientation, on the one hand, and organizational performance, on the other. However, there was no relationship between independence and organizational performance. Therefore, development of attitude and attention to entrepreneurial orientation in an organization can be effective in elevating organizational performance. Manuscript profile

Today, the use of joint research and development has facilitated technological progress, which has led to the production of new products, processes and services for the market. In order to protect these achievements, intellectual property rights in international technological cooperation as well as collaborative research projects between the private and public sectors, especially in the field of patents, have become twofold important. Intellectual property plays an essential role in promoting this type of collaboration between the university, industry and government and plays a complementary role in technology development. But a look at Iran's intellectual property policies in joint research projects and consortiums in the past shows that there is no coherent and complete framework for intellectual property arising from these collaborations, so the main purpose of this study is to examine the role of intellectual property rights in joint research projects and consortiums and political advice to those involved. This research is a review of the literature and uses a library methodology and in-depth study of available literature and articles and internal and external books on intellectual property and joint research projects, and specifically on model agreements in the Consortium of Europe and the United Kingdom, and finally a model agreement has been proposed to managers and policy makers active in the field of science and technology development in Iran, given that such agreements are less visible. One of the main reasons for the rapid development of technology in industrialized countries has been the attention to the commercialization process. Commercialization is a prerequisite for achieving competitive advantages and entering today's businesses in various fields of information technology. The purpose of this study is to present an IT commercialization model in online businesses. In order to conduct the research, the qualitative research approach and based on the data method of the foundation using semi-structured interviews with experts in the field of information technology commercialization have been used. The sample size included a total of 12 people by judgmental sampling method until theoretical saturation was achieved. Data encoding was performed using Max Kyoda software. Findings showed that commercialization of information technology in online businesses with 10 components including (economic factors, legal issues, structure, factors related to marketing, management factors, factors affecting business, political issues, cultural prerequisites , Business environment, technology management) were explained. It is suggested that in order to achieve successful commercialization in online tourism businesses, infrastructure indicators should be constantly monitored. Prioritize cultural support for the organization's commercialization activities, change and encourage consumer attitudes, and create a positive attitude toward information technology. Due to the lack of research in the field of commercialization of knowledge-based products, it is suggested to study the model of commercialization of knowledge-based products with emphasis on information technology. Jalal Al-Ahmed is one of the writers whose vast volume of writing is in the field of memoirs. The works of this author in many ways, including social, political and historical, are indicative of his ups and downs life. This article tries to survey the memory and types of memoirs in the works of Jalal Al-Ahmed with a descriptive-analytical method. The results of the research indicate that most of the stories of Jalal Al-Ahmad are related to the description of the author's life and personal memories. For this reason, his works can be classified as memoirs. In most cases, these stories do not proceed with a specific story coherence; Because the author sometimes interrupts the course of the story and interferes in its process with his comments; It is as if Jalal's realism has made him sometimes cross the boundaries of fantasy and enter the real world.Among Jalal Al-Ahmad's works, his travelogues and letters have a prominent place. His views in his travelogues and letters, in addition to revealing part of the author's private and family life, also give us the opportunity to take a fresh look at the political, cultural and social events of the author's era. Background and aim: Despite the increasing global attention on the societal need to respect the principles of children's participatory rights in which children are involved, surprisingly, the relationship between children's rights and research ethics is not clear and research ethics for children’s rights have been neglected in the social sciences literature. The aim of this study is to determine the relation of the ethical guidelines with children’s right. Method: This analytic study conducted to analyze the ethical research considerations from human rights and child right perspective. Results: Our analysis revealed that although the human right principles referred to in the social research ethical guidelines, the definition of “right” and especially children rights are ignored. Within the social sciences research ethical guidelines, including those related to children, there is often a lack of direct referral to the human rights principles emphasized by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Conclusion: Linking the human rights principles within research ethics guidelines will promote and encourage a rights-based approach to child research. These specific Research ethics guidelines need to be drawn upon the UNCRC. Manuscript profile

System thinking / Operational research and systems architecture are two areas of complexity management that have been highly sought after by various scholarly scholars. Although systems architecture is considered to be the dominant approach to system thinking / operational research in dealing with complex issues, there is no theory or process for architectural creation. Architecture is the science and art of planning and constructing structures. On the other hand, soft system thinking / soft operations research and structured methods to the problem, with the aim of learning and defining the problem with the help of stakeholders, is seeking satisfactory answers. In this study, by comparing the philosophical foundations of both areas at the methodological level, we would show the usefulness of the system / system research approach in soft operations in order to create a theory for architecture / system architecture. So, in the first step, the architectural mastery / system architecture and system thinking / research in soft operation were extracted and then compared on the basis of the Hamilton logic. One of the issues and problems facing the research cycle is the integration of design and production. Research institutes design products that are made without the cooperation of the construction engineering firm. The manufacturing institution does not have a common language in the production of the designed product and therefore no production takes place. Design without considering production and supply considerations seems beautiful only for the designer, but in some cases, the production organization is either not able to produce it or has problems in supplying some parts. This research deals with the issue of coordination of design, production and supply, which by examining the literature, its key indicators at the level of research projects and industrial development were extracted and finally ranked with decision models. For the first time, this research examines concurrent engineering in the defense industry and provides a model for the integration of design, production and supply. The indicators of this issue are divided into 4 criteria of product structure and architecture, management, quality and organizational cooperation. The criteria of product structure and architecture are the most important. Manuscript profile

Thus, the study went on to identify those training courses which failed, how this failure took place and what repercussions occurred and then to design the process of the justification model. Participants of this study consisted of those teachers who had participated in development courses. These participants were 23 teachers from Khorasan Razavi Province, selected purposefully on the basis of data saturation. This study was conducted within qualitative approach using grounded theory method. In order to gather the sine quo non data, semi-structured interviews were used. Afterwards, the interviews were recorded and transcribed. To analyze the gathered narrative data, Strauss and Corbin's method came to help. Consequently, two core phenomena, namely Learning and Learning Transfer emerged which emanated from contextual conditions such as learners, trainers, content, facilities and equipment, time and space, evaluation and feedback. These two phenomena culminated in outcomes which can be categorized as "consequences for Teachers" (such as negative attitude towards training, wastage of time, lack of quality teaching) and "Consequences for Students" (such as disorder and congestion, facing the same old stereotypical methods, lack of updated knowledge, apathy and monotony). At the end, to validate the emerged paradigm, the following criteria were applied: appropriateness (member check), comprehensiveness (member check), understanding (external audit and member check), and clarity (process description). Recent advancements in the social impact assessment of science have shown the diverse methodologies being developed to monitor and evaluate the improvements for society as a result of research. These assessment methods include indicators to gather both quantitative and qualitative evidence of the social impact of science achieved in the short, medium, and long terms. In psychology, the impact of research has been mainly analyzed in relation to scientific publications in journals, but less is known about the methods for the social impact assessment of psychological research. Impact assessment in the domains of educational psychology and organizational psychology presents synergies with bottom-up approaches that include the voices of citizens and stakeholders in their analyses. Along these lines, the communicative methodology (CM) emerges as a methodology useful for the communicative evaluation of the social impact of research. Although the CM has widely demonstrated social impact in the social sciences, less is known about how it has been used and the impact achieved in psychological research. This article unpacks how to achieve social impact in psychology through the CM. In particular, it focuses on the theoretical underpinnings of the CM, the postulates linked to psychological research and some key actions for the implementation of the CM in relation to the design of Advisory Committees, working groups, and plenary meetings in research. Furthermore, it shows how the CM has been implemented in illustrative cases in psychological research. The article finishes with a conclusion and recommendations to further explore the ways in which the CM enables the social impact of research in psychology.. Manuscript profile

Finally, HLM 7.02 and the SPSS software were used to analyse the collected data. The results proved the positive influence of human resources management activities on the staff’s satisfaction and loyalty, and in turn, on the satisfaction and loyalty of the customers. Therefore, it could be argued that hotel managers can increase the loyalty of their customers by emphasizing human resource management activities and improving their staff’s satisfaction and loyalty, which would increase the profitability of hotels in the long term by reducing marketing costs. Due to the special status of the religion of Islam in the culture of the Iranians in our country and the special place Quran has in the religious doctrine, teaching Quran must be to everyone's attention so that the requirements for achieving the goals of this course is provided. Hence, among the various courses being held during the educational year, the course of Quran is of special importance. Thus it may be for the same importance that there has been done many research on programs on teaching Quran and their current position in the schools of the country. This study, intends to make a review of the preceding studies related to programs on teaching Quran focusing on elementary level and identify and analyze the existing gaps in these researches. In order to achieve this objective, library studies is used. Therefore, first a review of studies on programs on teaching Quran focusing on elementary level was made. After a primary review on these researches, the areas discussed and the areas not discussed (gaps) were identified, extracted and categorized including three aspects as follows: objectives of teaching Quran, research method and statistical population. Based on findings of this study, it seems that in the previous researches, there has been put more emphasis on reciting and reading as the objectives of programs on teaching Quran in elementary level and objectives like meaning comprehension and lifestyle are considered secondary. Many of the previous studies are done with quantitative methods and a few are implemented using qualitative research method, particularly the combined method (quantitative-qualitative). Moreover, in the previous research the role of students and teachers is highlighted in comparison to the role of parents, experts in educating and training and experts in Quranic sciences, hence most previous researches discussed in this study are conducted on the elementary level, and the first and second level of high school are considerably ignored. Having a long-standing tradition in the Iranian and Shiite communities, pilgrimage and religious travels have considerably increased throughout the last two decades with a boom in tourism. In this regard, many studies have been carried out on different aspects of pilgrimage, addressing both managerial aspects of the pilgrimage destinations and the experiences reported by the pilgrims. However, while several review articles have already been published in English-language journals on pilgrimage studies, no such article could be found in the Iranian -Persian academic journals concerning pilgrimage and religious trips made in Iran. Therefore, this article sought to examine the formal and contentual features of the Persian scientific-research papers on pilgrimage and religious tourism published in Iranian Journals, trying to identify the research gaps in this regard. To this end, the relevant articles published from 2003 to 2021 in Iranian journals accredited by Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology using a systematic review and content analysis method. Then, the features of the collected papers were examined in terms of spatial distribution, frequency, geographical distribution, authors’ characteristics (gender, frequency, and field of study), and methodology (research method, data sources, data collection tools, observation unit, sampling method, and statistical tests). Finally, the papers were categorized in terms of their relationship with the Parsons’ social systems, introducing the over-researched and under-researched areas and the research gaps in the Iranian pilgrimage and religious tourism studies so that new ideas and research topics be offered for novel studies and the development of knowledge in this regard. In the model of Knowledge-Based production, knowledge and innovation are the most important factors of production; therefore, knowledge and innovation are the main keys to economic growth and development. The process of production of knowledge and innovation require groundwork making; This paper examines the effect of three factors, research and development expenditures, and education expenditures also the infrastructure of information and communication technology, on the production of knowledge and innovation. The purpose is to identify the path to realization of the knowledge-based economy in order to policy making for its realization in the Iranian economy. The extent of patents is considered as an indicator for producing knowledge and innovation. The countries under this study are 23 OECD member selected countries. For modeling, panel data method in Eviews software is used. Finding a positive and meaningful relationship between the three variables of research and development expenditure, training and technology infrastructure with the amount of patents, is the result of this research. The results of the calculations show that these three factors are very important in the process of producing knowledge and innovation, such that the lack of attention to them will actually lead the production of knowledge and innovation to the serious obstacles. Also, the comparison between the descriptive charts of the data for these three variables for Iran and the selected countries suggests that it would not be desirable in Iran. Manuscript profile

Researchers can interpret and analyze livestock problems and diseases by using data obtained from different characteristics of animals and their environment. The pivotal role of statistical analysis of data in the field of veterinary research & practice is inevitable. In this review article, shedding light on its significance in unraveling complex patterns and drawing reliable conclusions from diverse datasets. The veterinary domain, characterized by a spectrum of species and inherent biological variability, necessitates robust statistical methodologies to discern meaningful insights. In order to make inferences about disease causation or a researcher's hypothesis, data must be categorized and the goal is to decide whether the groups are statistically different or not. Finally, using a suitable statistical test, the research hypothesis is rejected or accepted, and finally the necessary interpretations are made. The researcher can decide what data should be collected and how. In practice, in this case, the researcher's hands are open and they can make the best possible decision, but often prospective data collection is costly and time-consuming. Another mode is retrospective research, which is often based on data collected by veterinarians from slaughterhouses, laboratories, clinics, inoculation centers, etc. or from other organizations and institutions. The article explores a range of statistical techniques applied in veterinary research and practice, including data normalization, hypothesis test, parametric and non-parametric test, regression and coefficient test, and validity in veterinary medicine. These futures has shedding light on animal interactions and patterns. Ultimately, this review article serves as a comprehensive guide for researchers and practitioners in veterinary science, offering insights into the nuanced application of statistical analyses. By navigating the complexities of veterinary data, it aims to empower the scientific community to leverage statistical tools effectively, ultimately advancing the quality and reliability of research in veterinary medicine.
