Banking domains such as credit assessments, branch efficiency, electronic banking  is tremendous contexts for the broad application of the concepts of business intelligence and its methods include data mining, data warehouses and decision support systems. There are many researches in the field of application of data mining in particular domains of banking, each of which analyzes the different entity of the banking sector, such as customers, facilities, accounts, and so on, but there isn’t research that comprehensively addresses all data mining applications in a bank, it integrates them, extracts and categorizes all banking entities for a variety of analytical applications and ultimately provides an appropriate data model according to the required attributes for the banking domains. Currently, information systems of Iranian banks are being developed for responding to new information needs. In this research by using content analysis method was investigated the content of valid research in the field of banking which was carried out with the data mining approach and by extracting the entities and attributes used in these researches is presented an appropriate data model for data analysis applications in banking. Information technology managers  by using this model can assess the status of the bank in terms of the richness of the data needed to conduct data analysis and consider the identified deficiencies in the future development plans of the information systems. After analyzing and evaluating previous researches, 28 entities and 423 attributes were identified and the last entity-relationship model was created. Based on the presented model, a measuring tool was provided as a checklist so that banks can use it to measure their status in terms of the richness of existing data and to measure their readiness from the perspective of the data to do the analysis. To confirm the last data model, were used idea of ten experts by questionnaires and interviews in different sections such as customers and public banking, finance and support, e-banking, credit and corporate affairs, IT domain and international affairs in the bank. Also, using data collected from the researches were presented frequency diagrams of the algorithms, techniques, sampling methods, performance indexes and data mining softwares that used in the researches. Stream bank erosion is known to be a major source of sediment shedding in streams and rivers. However it is difficult to define and estimate the contribution of sediment from river erosion. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the application of BSTEM model as a viable tool for identifying and quantifying the controlling bank-slope conditions for a range of stream-restoration objectives, evaluation of the importance of fluvial erosion, vegetation properties and near-bank pore-water pressure properties. The Bank Stability and Toe Erosion Model (BSTEM) were used in order to predict streambank retreat due to both fluvial erosion and geotechnical failure. In this research, BSTEM model also was used to simulate hydraulic erosion at the bank toe and bank stability during a series of flow events (bankfull discharge, mean annual flood, maximum flood discharge) for the purpose of evaluating current (existing) and potential changes in failure frequency (factor of safety or FS) and stream bank-derived loadings. The study site is located at the exit point of the Lavij river from the mountains in Kashpal park area (Chamestan-noor). Every year there is a significant amount of bank erosion caused by large floods in this river section. This study showed that for a multilayered stream bank in Lavij River, the most significant retreat occurred during a series of high flow events. In fact, the floods that occur with a return period of more than 10 years, play an important role in fluvial erosion and lateral retreat processes. Results of BSTEM analysis showed that lateral retreat measured at the stream bank in different scenarios ranged from 0 to 81cm and the bank stability conditions in the first scenario is unstable (FS =0.9), but in the second and thirds scenarios is almost stable (FS=1.15-1.26). Bank top vegetation provided additional cohesive strength to the top 1.0 m of the bank and resulted in a further reduction of failure frequency and failure volume. Results of this study showed that toe protection added to eroding stream banks can reduce overall volumes of eroded sediment. Manuscript profile

In the world of exchanges and international trade which is based on the expansion of the banking system, the delayed payment penalty is accepted as a solution to the depreciation of the currency and also as a condition for the obligation to pay debts from customers in most banking systems as well as in various legal rules. But this principle in Islamic countries has sometimes interfered with the concept of Reba, so that some jurists consider it as a Reba and have forbidden it. This principle has been widely debated in our country, but it has been accepted by the legislature as a principle. However, there are still many challenges regarding the legitimacy or lack of legitimacy of the principle of delayed payment penalty in the banking system. In this paper, it is attempted to address the reasons for the legitimacy of the delayed payment penalty in the banking system. Manuscript profile

Credit scoring is an important topic, and banks collect different data from their loan applicant to make an appropriate and correct decision. Rule bases are of more attention in credit decision making because of their ability to explicitly distinguish between good and bad applicants. The credit scoring datasets are usually imbalanced. This is mainly because the number of good applicants in a portfolio of loan is usually much higher than the number of loans that default. This paper use previous applied rule bases in credit scoring, including RIPPER, OneR, Decision table, PART and C4.5 to study the reliability and results of sampling on its own dataset. A real database of one of an Iranian export development bank is used and, imbalanced data issues are investigated by randomly Oversampling the minority class of defaulters, and three times under sampling of majority of non-defaulters class. The performance criterion chosen to measure the reliability of rule extractors is the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), accuracy and number of rules. Friedman’s statistic is used to test for significance differences between techniques and datasets. The results from study show that PART is better and good and bad samples of data affect its results less. Manuscript profile

Abstract: It was after the 1929 Great Recession in the United States that the world economy suffered heavy losses and Iranian officials began paying attention to the bankruptcy of the banks and its highly negative impacts on the national economy. Consequently, the lawmakers came to the conclusion that rules and regulations on bankruptcy of the commercial corporations are not sufficient for verifying bankruptcy of the banks – which are considered commercial corporations in kind. On this basis, the United States has tried to consider certain rules and regulations for bankruptcy of banks, thanks to their role in national economy and their differences from the commercial corporations. The bankruptcy code for banks and financial institutions in the United States is called Resolution Regime. It is the government’s legal framework that resolves a failed bank in an orderly way to prevent the collapse of financial markets and the country’s financial system, to continue key services by the banks and to prevent the burden of bankruptcy on the government and taxpayers. In Iranian law, the bankruptcy regime of the banks is not a hundred percent apart from the bankruptcy of the corporations. In case of the bankruptcy of a bank, the Trade Law rules and regulations on bankruptcy will be considered as general rules and other monetary and banking rules and regulations will be particular ones. In case of the silence of the particular laws, the general rules and regulations will be applicable in case of the bankruptcy of the banks. In U.S. law, liquidation is the last step to deal with a bankrupt bank, while in Iranian law - since there is no substitute method for liquidation - the bankrupt bank starts liquidation immediately after receiving the order of bankruptcy. A saying from the Holley Prophet of Islam says: “praying has 70 parts, the best one is Halal earning”. Accordingly the real believers strongly value the professional banking morality for earning Halal income and from their point of view the bank which is based on Islamic morality must follow 6 important aims as will be described in the article such as executing economic justice in the society. As a result the idea of Islamic Banking was first made in the 1950s and the first Islamic investment banking was established in Egypt and Malaysia in the 1960s. There are over 100 kinds of Islamic banks and the law of banking without usury was passed and enforced in 1983 after Iran Islamic revolution. The theoretical, religious jurisprudence and Islamic morality related discussions among the people who are the users of this method of banking and among the bank clerks who enforce this methods, is yet to be answered and they are not fully justified that this method is right from the religious point of view, and the money taken and given is usury. We have tried to survey the activities of the banks focusing on monetary value of time and value of money during time in Islamic jurisprudence and find an appropriate answer. It is clear that the banks pay profit to customers when attracts their money and receives profit from them when loans them. These two issues happen during time and the method of paying and taking profit separates the way of Islamic banking from regular banking. Usury that is clearly forbidden in Islam takes place in elapse of time. We have used indisputable contracts in religious jurisprudence such as Salaf (buying in advance) and Nesiyeh (selling in advance) to differentiate these two with usury. Manuscript profile

As strategic partners of businesses, customers have played an undeniable role in business growth and development; having a comprehensive knowledge of customers from different dimensions has always been emphasized. The role of effective and efficient management is becoming more important in today’s competitive world which is undoubtedly full of complexity, ambiguity, and uncertainty in challenging situations, competitions, and conflicts. People associate power with many advantages; therefore, they make many efforts to gain it in organizations. Battling for power raises the discussion of political behaviors in organizations. The aim of this study was to present a multi-index decision-making fuzzy hybrid model of qualitative analysis to identify the dimensions and indices of political behavior occurrence among CAOs at the branches of Bank Maskan in Tehran by using a fuzzy Delphi technique. Moreover, the decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) technique was employed to determine how influential and influenceable the indices were. The statistical population included 20 CAOs (Bank Maskan) with at least 10 years of executive and management experience. The research results indicated that Personal Characteristics became known as the most influential dimension with the highest value of (R-J) (1.244) among the evaluation criteria for political behaviors of CAOs at Bank Maskan. Moreover, Occupational Attitudes became identified as the most influenceable dimension according to the lowest value of (R-J) (1.358). Given the highest value of (R+J), Personal Characteristics interacted the most with other dimensions (1.244). Manuscript profile

A majority of studies around efficiency assessment just estimate it. Indeed, they don’t address the roots of inefficiency of DMUs. These shortcomings could be resulted from silo approaches conducted by researchers. Our research aims address this gap. We propose a two-stage procedure in which first, the efficiency of bancassurance desks are estimated by DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) and then, roots of inefficiency are identified by a survey designed based on enabler section of European Foundation for Quality Management model (EFQM) and conducted among bancassurance desks employees. This study is applied in terms of purpose, and mathematical as well as statistical in terms of data analysis. The population of this study consisted of all bancassurance desks of BANK MELLAT in 2015. After efficient and inefficient branches of bancassurance have been estimated and ranked, in order to identify factors affecting efficiency, a questionnaire designed according with criteria of EFQM. Reliability of questionnaire was tested by Cronbach's alpha coefficient, and normal distribution of data was tested by using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The effects of variables (factors) on efficiency were evaluated via regression analysis, then obtained answers were tested for research questions. The results of ranking the impact of factors on the efficiency of bancassurance desks showed that employees, partnerships and resources, products and services, strategy, and leadership are the efficient factors, respectively. After Islamic Revolution in Iran, all private banks were announced public based on Article 44 of the constitution. Accordingly, all private banks were replaced by public integrated banking system. However, establishment of credit financial institutions since1997 paved the way to establish private banks. Finally, central bank announced its agreement for establishment of private banks in February 1998. In April 2000, the law of establishment of non-public banks was passed. In this study, the performance of private banks during 2005 to 2015 was assessed to investigate their failure or success. Additionally, using the Delphi method and investigation of balance sheet of banks, a comprehensive reportwas obtained from status of privatebanks and the impact of privatization on the banking indicators was examined. The results of assessment of balance sheets and obtained data obtained show privatization of banks had a positive impact on efficiency and profitability of banks. In addition, according to the results, "Premium Features" of private banks compared to public banks includedreducedtotal costs of money, reducedoutstanding loans and doubtful debts of the bank, reduced gap between the interest rate paid on deposits and interest received from a given facilities, updating and creating a modern information structure of banking, providing new service, increased productivity of human resources, using specialists and educated manpower, increased profitability, creating a competitive environment and transparency of information, reduced reliance on central bank at deficits times, and management of risk.In addition, by using the Delphi technique, "Top Premium Features" of private banks compared to public banks were obtained and they were weighted using FANP method. Accordingly, four criteria of reduced total costs of money, reducedoutstanding loans and debts, creating a competitive environment and increased productivity of human resources had the highest weights, respectively. The emergence and expansion of new service channels in banks, the large number of branches in the service network of banks, and the high cost of the branch, on the one hand, led the banks to reduce the number of branches and the integration of smaller branches in other branches, but factors such as the loss of customers , Brand coverage, social security deprivation, etc., have created considerations for banks in integrating branches. In this paper, a comprehensive overview of the literature on mergers of bank branches and similar issues was first discussed and influential variables were identified in the problem. Then, the behavior of customers influenced by the merger of branches as one of the key variables affecting the problem has been investigated. For this purpose, a five-step model has been developed in this paper, with its main core of cluster analysis techniques. Finally, in order to demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the developed model, a case study of Mellat branches has been used in the country. Manuscript profile

Consequently, attention to sustainability and social responsibility in the banking business is increasing day by day. Accordingly, the main purpose of this study is to provide a framework for sustainability in bank Business. To this end, by using the Meta-synthesis approach, the 268 open codes related to sustainability in the banking industry were extracted from related articles and related studies and these open codes formed 59 axial codes. Then, these axial codes were categorized based on similarities in concepts to 10 themes of economic partnership, financial factors, energy use, environmental action, community participation, development of human resources, customer relationship, products and services, human rights issue , and governance. In the following, they were categorized into four including economic, social, and environmental and governance sustainability. Moreover, ISM structured the relationships between the themes while leveling them in a structural model based on the experts’ interprets. According to the results, the theme of human rights is at the lowest level and considered as the basis for bank sustainability. In addition, human rights, human resources, products and services, and customer relationship themes were placed in the independent area of the MICMAC chart that shows the key role and influence of these factors on other factors in the sustainability of bank business. This article is aimed at designing and explaining the integrated pattern of employee performance management in the country's state-owned banks. In order to achieve this goal, first the integrated categories of integrated performance management have been identified and validated, and finally, by determining the model of causal relationships of these elements, the final model has been obtained. This research is based on empiricist philosophy and deductive-inductive method. The present study is a fundamental research in terms of purpose, and in terms of data collection method, it’s a cross-sectional research. In this research, mixed method (qualitative & quantitative) has been used. The statistical population of this article includes professors and experts with management experience in SepahBank and has been used to sample the method of bullet and snow. The sampling process continued until theoretical saturation was achieved, and finally 11 managers of the central offices of SepahBank participated in this study. To identify the infrastructural categories of employee performance management, a metasynthesis method has been used and by using interpretive-structural modeling, an integrated staff performance management model has been presented. Data analysis was performed with MaxQda and MicMac software. The results show that among integrated management structures, performance, planning and targeting and organizational culture have high penetration power and have low effectiveness. So the variables are independent. The two variables of knowledge management and coaching have high penetration power and dependency, so they are transferable variables. Employee performance management variables and performance analysis and revision are also highly dependent but have little influence, so they are dependent variables. Manuscript profile

Nowadays, industries, especially the banking industry, are facing a much more complex environment than the past decade. Therefore, they have to adapt to the environment to obtain and maintain their competitive edge. The traditional banking system is no longer efficient enough, while a universal banking system can provide more varied services to a more diverse clientele. Considering the radical humanist paradigm in the analysis of social theories and a focus on the effectiveness of capable human resources for the correct implementation of universal banking in Iran, the present paper aims to propose a universal banking system focusing on the empowerment and skill development of bank employees. This study used the Delphi fuzzy method to select experts and classify and analyze their responses. Further, the Linear Programming and , FGTMA-FDEMATEL and screenwriting method was used to identify and investigate the criteria correlationsand map the network relationships. Arobust statisticalmethod was used to solve optimization problems based on data uncertainty.and lingo software was used to solve the problem. The results drawn from the model indicated that factors such as employee decision-making ability, responsibility towards executing a decision, access to decision tools, and employee self-efficacy sources influence the empowerment of employees and correct implementation of private, corporate, business, and investment banking. Further, they showed that sense of competence, motivation, participation, sense of effectiveness, and information technology influence universal banking. Open banking is a new paradigm that is rapidly growing in the world banking industry. Moving towards open banking and using the capacities and potentials of cooperation with innovative businesses can draw a clear horizon for maintaining banking services' survival as one of the macro banking strategies. But this requires a change in the traditional business model of banks. The purpose of this study is to provide a business model framework for commercial banks with an open banking approach. In this study, using banks' approach to participate in the financial ecosystem and the type of cooperation with third parties, four types of the strategic approaches and the dimensions of banks' business model in each situation are described. Accordingly, each bank can have one of the roles, including the integrator, producer, distributor, and the platform in open banking. In this research, a multi-case study research method has been used in which, based on the opinion of experts, three banks were studied, selected, and the dimensions of their business model were examined. Sepah Bank as a bank with an integrating role, Pasargad Bank as a bank with a producer role and Ayandeh Bank as a bank with a platform role were studied. According to experts in this field, no bank in Iran has the function of the distributor. The characteristics and the dimensions of each bank's business model vary according to their chosen approach to open banking and interaction with third parties Manuscript profile

In this study, we have used the total capital market index (TEDPIX) as an index of the real sector of the economy and the index of banks and credit financial institutions as an index that explains the developments of the banking system. Also, oil revenues, exchange rate uncertainty, tax revenues, liquidity, nominal interest rates, inflation uncertainty and GDP have been used as macroeconomic variables in the research period (1370-1396). To estimate the systemic risk of the banking system, the quarterly data of the banks' index is used and the value at risk of the return of the seasonal data of the index is estimated using an exponential GARCH model. In order to model the interaction of macroeconomic variables and systemic risk of the banking system, an unrestricted vector autoregression (VAR) model was estimated and then using instantaneous impact functions and based on Chulsky analysis, systemic risk response to other variables was investigated and analyzed. In order to identify the channels of impact of economic shocks on the systemic risk of the banking system, based on the structures of the Iranian economy, a structural vector autoregression (SVAR) model was specified and then the instantaneous impact functions were extracted and the effect of macro variable shocks on the systemic risk of the banking system was investigated. Also, the effect of systemic risk of the banking system on macroeconomic variables was investigated and analyzed using instantaneous impact functions. Finally, the interaction model of macroeconomic variables and systemic risk of the banking system was approved using the vector autoregressive model. Manuscript profile

The current research seeks to study effective factors on banks’ attitudes towards holding blended learning courses. After developing the e-learning, the new form of learning environments has been formed that organizations are leading to maintain these environments to blend the traditional and e-learning capacities in order to blend techniques and abilities of learning and e-learning. Statistical population included 27 private and public banks in which two public (Meli and Tejarat Banks) and two private banks (Parsian and Pasargad Banks) have been chosen by cluster sampling. Then among staff of four banks, 285 respondents have been chosen. The research tool was a researcher-made questionnaire and its validity was confirmed by ten e-learning scholars and academicians and also its reliability was estimated 0.82 after performing among 55 samples. Factor analysis shows that five following factors explain 40.427 percent of all variations of factors respectively: the structural and organizational factors, the difficulties in producing the e-material, the inability in reaching the qualified e- content, the special advantages of blended learning environments and lack of enough knowledge and skills. In addition, for determining the amount of the fitting of the recognized coefficient AMOS program was used which shows the propriety of the recognized factors for the determined criteria. The objective of this research was to train and develop from a professional perspective. Qualitative research and focus group techniques were applied in order to achieve this. Indeed, the first step was to study the literature on professional development by researching databases, library resources, high-level documents, and domestic reports. Afterwards, by holding focus group interviews and consulting with the participants who were experts, a professional education and development plan was designed. The research statistical population (both of academy and bank) included 12 experts who were well acquainted with Human Resource Development in banking industry. Data collection instruments involved interview protocols and questionnaires which were analyzed by the application of a content analysis method. Research findings included identification of job competencies at the level of branch, i.e. bank manager, deputy, chief officer, bank-teller, and caretaker, by applying a model which included both the individual and the organization and aspects of personality, viewpoint, knowledge, and skill. Through application of this two-dimensional model and four-field approach, educational modular courses were developed for each job in accordance with the level of competency required, perceptional, human, or technical. The findings of this research indicated that in order to develop branch managers and staff professionally in monetary and banking fields, competency-based training programs focusing on required skills for each position should be developed. For instance, in modular courses to be attended by the managers and deputies, management and perceptional skills should be highlighted; whereas in case of bank-tellers a more emphasis was put on job competencies and technical skills. The increasing rate of distributed generation resources expansion into power systems and the random nature of these resources have altered the operation and design of these networks, and reactive power management in distribution networks belongs to this category. The use of these resources in distribution networks is not without challenges and the lack of optimal management of reactive power may not bring economic efficiency for the network. Energy storage systems have the potential to solve this problem. Therefore, in this article, reactive power management in a microgrid connected to the main grid, taking into account distributed generation sources, energy storage systems and discrete reactive power compensating equipment, including capacitor banks, taking into account uncertainty in network load and Wind and solar power generation has been done. Finally, the efficiency of the method is demonstrated by numerical examinations on the distribution networks of 33 and 69 IEEE buses and in the GAMS optimization software. Manuscript profile

The continuous expansion of real estate buying and selling has led to some profit-seeking individuals abusing this field, resulting in the increase of crimes such as fraud, illegal transfer of property, and conflicting transactions. Criminal penalties such as fraud and illegal transfer of property are explicitly stated in the law and a specific legal process has been considered for these types of crimes. However, conflicting transactions are somewhat complicated due to ambiguities in the text, and there is no clear legal process for dealing with such crimes. In the banking system, conflicting transactions have also caused problems in the system, particularly due to the absence of a unified legal process for dealing with conflicts between official mortgage documents and ordinary sales documents. This lack of legal clarity has made official documents unreliable, leading to harm to the banking system and providing a platform for abuse by facilitators. On the other hand, the priority of official mortgage documents over ordinary sales documents has increased the credibility of official documents, but it has also caused harm to the buyer. This article attempts to examine the impact of conflicting transactions on bank mortgages and the enforcement of these types of transactions in Iran's legal system. Manuscript profile

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to explain the grading criteria of departments and branch supervisors in banking with two approaches of modern banking and merging branches. Necessity: In the first step, the efficiency model of regions and guardianships should be examined, regarding the measurement of the efficiency of banks, various studies have been found that sometimes have contradictory results, but considering the two simultaneous approaches of modern banking and the integration of branches, regarding the explanation of the framework of efficiency evaluation in No research has been found on the level of supervisors and branch offices. Methodology: In this research, hierarchical analysis (AHP) is used to determine the grading criteria of branch affairs offices and supervisors, and data envelopment analysis (DEA) is used for grading. Findings: Among the 27 branches and supervision departments of the bank, 11 branches and supervision departments have a relative efficiency of 100%, which include the branches and supervisions of West Azerbaijan, Ilam, Greater Tehran, Razavi Khorasan, Zanjan, Qazvin, Qom, Kurdistan, Kahgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, Markazi and Hormozgan. Conclusion: All the branch affairs departments and bank supervisors are not working. 11 branch affairs administration and country supervision during the years 1400-1395 have always worked efficiently. The management of this office of branches and guardianships can be encouraged and set as a model for other branches and guardianships. However, the method of data coverage analysis introduces patterns well for each department of branch affairs and supervision. Manuscript profile

The autonomy principle in payment and guarantee instruments such as Letters of Credits, Demand Guarantees (Bank Guarantees), Bills, Promissory Notes and Cheques have become one of the inseparable characteristics, to the point that it constitutes the nature of these instruments. Most countries laws and international conventions have identified the principle in their rules. Autonomy principle increases payment certainty remarkably so that any excuse, exterior from payment relationship cannot block payment procedure. On the other side the execution of the principle in absolute and inflexible manner can cause issuer (The person who is responsible for payment) to be harmed where the beneficiary is not entitled to pay rightfully and fairly. One of the ways which could reduce the absoluteness of autonomy principle and make it flexible is possibility of predicting conditions which acts as a complementary for autonomy principle in different rules and reduces harmful and unfair consequences of absolute application of autonomy principle. By comparatively study the provisions of various payment and guarantee instruments, In this research, we are trying to consider that are cheques, as a common payment and guarantee instrument among people, possible to be issued with conditions or not.
