From the very beginning of the eighteenth century, the "Enlightenment" became the center of European reflections. Reactions to the Enlightenment have varied. In the first half of the twentieth century in Germany, anti-Enlightenment discourse through thinkers such as Heidegger, Schmitt, Adorno, Horkheimer and Karl Löwith, raised radical criticisms of the Enlightenment in various philosophical, political, and historical fields. In this essay, based on Skinner's approach, we interpret Karl Löwith's idea about the historical-political thought of the Enlightenment. The question of this article is "in what context was Karl Löwith's idea about the theological implications of the Enlightenment historical-political thought formed and what is the author's intention?" It can be said that Löwith's idea originated in the German anti-Enlightenment tradition in the first half of the twentieth century. He sees modern philosophy of history and the concept of progress as a secularized form of the theology of history and the concept of providence. With this claim, Löwith tries to introduce the Enlightenment as illegitimate by proposing theological roots for it. It seems that the consequences of accepting Löwith's idea could challenge the assumptions of modern thought, especially about the concept of "progress", as a secularized theological concept. In the sense that modern thought cannot be considered an independent thought. In contrast, Santo Mazzarino, Hannah Arendt, and Hans Blumenberg have fundamentally criticized Löwith's theoretical-methodological foundations and challenged him. Manuscript profile

Forecasting the future is very important for business owners, while it is not difficult to discover it. Scientists and economists regularly uncover trends by analyzing: patterns in government and corporate research policies; new technological advancements and discoveries; market supply and demand fluctuations; and present moods, needs and spending habits of consumers. But for small businesses owners, there are many books, papers and web sites about new trends and megatrends. They talk about future changes such as: Shifting the global axis of power and influence from West to East, or underlying Asias rapid modernization include a shift from central government control to free-market economies, the emergence of female entrepreneurs, mass migration to cities and a resurgent individualistic spirit that rejects welfarism. These patterns can be uncovered through the computer analysis of large amounts of data taken from databases, polls, news clippings, or any other medium where information can be accumulated. From these patterns - as well as knowledge of past tendencies, historical cycles, an empirical understanding of human nature, and primitive gut reactions – they piece together astoundingly accurate predictions. This paper introduces new patterns and megatrends to business owners in order help them to plan their strategy and approach for sustaining their customers and their businesses. Manuscript profile

The aim of the present study was to investigate the psychometric properties of the six-factor model of achievement goals questionnaire (Elliot et al., 2011) in the students of the junior and senior high schools. In order to investigate the validity and reliability of the achievement goals questionnaire in the junior high school students, 279 students in Evaz city (in the south of Fars province) who were studying in the academic year of 2020-2021, were selected by convenience sampling method and responded to the electronic version of the questionnaires of achievement goals (Elliot et al., 2011) and intrinsic motivation (Choi et al., 2010). Also, in order to investigate the validity and reliability of this questionnaire in the second group, 420 students were selected in the same city and academic year using the convenience sampling method and responded to the electronic version of the questionnaires of achievement goals (Elliot et al., 2011), academic self-regulation (Pintrich & DeGroot, 1990) and academic engagement (Reeve, 2013). Data were analyzed using SPSS-16 and AMOS-21 statistical software. The content, construct and convergent validity of the mentioned questionnaire were investigated using the opinion of educational psychology experts, confirmatory factor analysis and correlation coefficients of the component scores with related variables. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to investigate the reliability of the questionnaire. Experts confirmed the representativeness of the questionnaire items to measure the achievement goals in the six-factor model presented by Elliot et al. (2011). The achievement goals model test includes the components of task-approach, task-avoidance, self-approach, self-avoidance, other-approach, and other-avoidance, confirming the six-factor structure of this questionnaire according to the primary research. Also, the logical connection between the components of achievement goals with related variables indicates the convergent validity of this questionnaire. In addition, Cronbach's alpha coefficient confirms the reliability of the questionnaire. In total, the findings of the research show that the Persian version of the mentioned questionnaire is one of the suitable psychometric indicators for measuring the six components of achievement goals in two groups of students of the junior high school and senior high school students; And it has the necessary efficiency to measure the mentioned achievement goals. Denitrification of drinking water has a research history of more than three decades in the field of water treatment and is still the subject of many research projects. The main purpose of this study is to obtain or modify methods for removing nitrate from drinking water in an economic way and force minimal adverse effects on the environment. The use of photocatalytic process for denitrification is not new, but there are still many ambiguities. In this study, the feasibility of using two different photocatalysts over the ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) substrate was discussed. This new substrate is fabricated by immobilizing the photocatalyst inside a cement matrix which acts as an active layer over the UHPC surface. Optimum long-term lifecycle and higher efficiency of this active surface is achieved without a significant drop of the photocatalyst activity near the surface. In this study, the possibility of using photocatalytic composite layers over the elements made of UHPC for applications such as water supply channels was evaluated and the challenges of using such layers on UHPC surfaces were described. According to the studies, it was found that the use of fixed cement composite bed for photocatalytic treatment has advantages over other methods of photocatalytic water treatment. Manuscript profile

Planning is one of the main functions of management and has always been the focus of managers and policy-makers. Planning at large scale levels involves complexities that can lead to conflicts among different national plans. In this study, the inter-plan conflicts between national plans and the “Islamic-Iranian advancement pattern” have been addressed. National plans are defined as plans designed by the national level organizations and being implemented by them. The “Islamic-Iranian advancement pattern” is an upper-hand document that all of the other plans must be designed in compatibility and adaptability with it; therefore the conflicts between “Islamic-Iranian advancement pattern” and other national plans are a remarkable and important issue. Also it should be noted that the most important point in preventing the conflicts is the comprehensive view of planners and also their expertise, but according to complexity of such plans the occurrence of conflicts is inevitable. In this study, a model based on the multi-criteria decision making methods for the determination and reduction of the conflicts in national plans has been introduced and also the advantages of this model have been discussed. Personalized recommender systems and search engines, are two effective key solutions to overcome the information overloading problem. They use the intelligent techniques on users’ interactions to extract their behavioral patterns. These patterns help in making a personalized environment to deliver accurate recommendations. In the technology enhanced learning (TEL) field and in particular resource-based learning, recommendation systems have attracted growing interest. Specially, they are an important module of Adaptive Educational Systems that deliver the appropriate learning objects to their users. Gray-sheep users are a challenge in these systems. They have a little similarity with their peers. So the recommendations to others are not suitable for them. To overcome this problem, we propose the idea of accommodating the user’s learning style to web page features. The user's learning style will be computed according to Felder-Silverman theory. On the other hands, the necessary implicit and explicit meta data will be extracted from OCW web pages. By matching the extracted information, the system delivers the appropriate educational links to user. The user can compare the proposed links, based of our algorithm, to the output of Lucene algorithm. A user’s opinion about every web page as a recommended result would be submitted to the system. The system uses a learning automata algorithm and user’s feedback to deliver best recommendations. The system has been evaluated by a group of engineering students to evaluate its accuracy. Results show that the proposed method outperforms the general search algorithm. This system can be used at formal and informal learning and educational environments for Resource-based learning. Background and Aim: Education is one of the most important aspects of children's rights and so the quality of its implementation plays an important role in securing this right. This issue has a particular importance and sensitivity for children with special needs. With the spread of the Corona pandemic in the world, the need for distance education became inevitable. In Iran, distance learning, including at the basic level, was formed using ‘Shad’ software, which is still current in many primary schools. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of this type of education on the educational achievement of children with special needs. Method: In this study, using a descriptive survey method and a researcher-made questionnaire based on the Academic Achievement Questionnaire adapted from Pham and Taylor's 1994 research, the statistical population, teachers of Shahed Fardis Exceptional School of Karaj was selected and data analysis was performed. Chi-square test and Friedman test were used with Spss software version 24. Results: The findings showed that the effect of ‘Shad’ software in distance education is positive in terms of software efficiency and effectiveness compared to other methods of distance education and also by creating a specific program to prepare for assessments; However, due to the absenteeism of education, the overall outcome of the comments was a negative impact on students' academic achievement compared to the attendance method at the end of the year. Also, this type of education can have a negative impact on academic achievement by reducing performance during face-to-face assessment, reducing literacy skills, and distracting students due to being at home. Conclusion: Distance education, especially with the elimination of hardware and software defects, as well as cultural placement and mutual understanding of teachers, parents and students, is an opportunity in some respects to increase academic achievement, but face-to-face education, as well, due to its functions, should still be considered and emphasized by the educational system. The critique of the progress-based philosophy of history has been one of the most significant themes of the contemporary political philosophy. It has revealed, In the aftermath of the researches that have accomplished in the field of post-colonial studies, that unilinear history has heavy eurocentric presuppositions that have been at the service of the real history of the suppression of the non-western excluded people. Furthermore the concrete elements of the dissolution of the western progress- based history of philosophy and accordingly the possibility of proposing the history of the excluded such as the decline of the colonialism and the formation of nation-states have been discussed in these researches. In this paper, however, firstly we are trying, on the basis of the Thought of contemporary philosopher Gianni Vattimo, to go beyond the merely concrete discussion about this topic and reveal the ontological impossibility of metaphysical/ universal and progress-based philosophy of history, through demonstrating the relation between progress-based philosophy of history and objectivistic metaphysics. Secondly, on the basis of this point and through the hermeneutic nihilism, we want to present the idea of post-history as the theoretical ground for the possibility of proposing the history of the excluded. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the epidemiology of stress, anxiety and depression in elementary school students of Shahid Eftekhari School in Yasouj. In this research, 605 students (264 girls and 341 boys) aged 14 to 19 from all grades of primary school in Yasouj city participated. To collect information, three tests, Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), Kettle Anxiety Scale and Children's Depression Scale (CDS-A) were used. Because the PSS and CDS-A tests did not have Iranian standards, these tests were also validated using the obtained data. The reliability obtained for PSS was 0.76 by dividing Spearman-Brown and 0.77 using Cronbach's alpha, and 0.90 and 0.89 for CDS-A, respectively. Then, to determine the validity of these two tests, the correlation of each item with the total of each test was taken, which were significant at the P<0.001 level. Factor analysis was also used and the examination of the items that had the highest load on each of the items showed that the items of these two tests have good discriminating power and are reliable for measuring the desired goals. Epidemiological results show that the prevalence of stress is 9.1% in boys and 22% in girls, and 14.7% in the total sample, where the prevalence of girls is 2.5 times that of boys. In relation to anxiety, the prevalence was investigated in three levels: hidden, overt and general. In this case, hidden anxiety was 10.3% in boys and 13.6% in the whole sample. Overt anxiety was 7% in boys and 13.4% in the whole sample, and general anxiety was 11.1% in boys and 23.5% in girls and 16.5% in the whole sample. Here too, the prevalence of girls was higher than boys in all three levels (hidden 1.7 times that of boys, overt 3 times and overall 1.2 times that of boys). The prevalence of depression was 8.5% in boys and 24.2% in girls and 15.4% in the whole sample. This rate shows that girls are more affected than boys and this rate is 2.8 times. Manuscript profile
