Results of analysis of variance indicated that although the scores of hope were high in these two groups, there was no significant difference between them in this variable, and they were significantly different only in self-efficacy. It could be concluded that, in order to gain positive and maintaining therapeutic outcomes, in addition to high levels of hope, high levels of self-efficacy are also necessary. Manuscript profile

The tendon is a firm fibrous band of connective tissue that connects muscle to bone. This structure has the ability to transfer mechanical forces resulting from muscle contraction to the skeletal system. Tendinitis is a general term, often used to describe painful tendon situations due to constant stretching, overuse, degeneration, or poor tendon biomechanism. Tendinopathy is often the result of useless attempts by the body to regenerate a tendon, which a pathological conflict has led to a malfunction. Various treatments have been used to manage tendon disorders. Stem cells are divided into two categories. Embryonic cells (which are very potential but due to ethical considerations, limited studies have been done on them) and postnatal cells. Postnatal cells are divided into two categories, which include; Hematopoietic stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells. Mesenchymal stem cells have the ability to differentiate into multiple cells, including tenocytes, chondrocytes, and fibroblasts. these cells are a potential alternative to treating tendon lesions. This article presentan overview of the structure, biomechanics and disorders of tendon and, while pointing to the common therapies today, introduces stem cells , retrospective studies and possibility of using these cells in the optimal treatment of tendon disorders. While leisure limitations have long been the subject of research, there has recently been a growing trend in academic studies that examine such limitations in terms of tourism and disability. However, as those studies are merely limited to the identification and elaboration of the barriers and limitations., the current study sought to investigate the influence of such limitations on the target population. Therefore, based on the study conducted by Lee et al. (2012), the current study set out to investigate the effect of perceived travel limitations on the tourism tendency of physically disabled individuals living in Tehran, Iran, using Seligman's Helplessness Theory. The required data for this applied, descriptive-analytical correlational study was collected through a survey using a researcher-developed questionnaire. The statistical population of the study comprised all physically disabled people, those suffering from spinal cord injury, and war-disabled individuals living in Tehran, out of whom 383 people were selected as the sample size using the convenience sampling method. The findings of the study indicated that tourism limitations perceived by the disabled residents of Tehran did not significantly affect their tourism tendencies. On the other hand, the perceived tourism limitations exerted a positive influence on their learned helplessness. Finally, the learned helplessness of people with disabilities negatively affected their intention to travel. The results of the present study can be used by relevant institutions such as Tehran's municipality, those responsible for urban management, and institutions in charge of the affairs of disabled people. In religious texts we frequently encounter with importance of Quran verses in treatment of diseases. The aim of this article is to study the scientific evidences in relation with sacred healing. Methods: In this article we review the recent scientific findings on water and effects of words, especially Quranic verses. Results: Emotto found that water reflects different responses to different words and sounds , observing frozen water crystals showed this difference. Hence the Quran produces one of the most beautiful and harmonized water crystals. [21:30 Quran] from water we made all living things. Would they believe? Rustom Roy & al found that water could memorize such effects. Bytaraf Hamideh, also concluded the effect of sounds and word on the tin, sugar candy and water crystals. Objective(s): Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the most common entrapment neuropathy with annual cost of about one billion. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of intercessory prayer in the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome. Methods: In this cross sectional interventional study, patients with Electro physiological confirmed diagnosis of CTS with inclusion criteria’s during autumn 2005 underwent intercessory prayer. They were evaluated for subjective symptoms with (VAS 10mm), objective signs and electro diagnostic parameters before and 6 weeks after a three-week intercessory prayer. Results: 12 patients with 23 hands were enrolled. At 6 weeks after the end of therapy, subjective symptoms, phalen, reverse phalen and Electro diagnostic findings (Median DSL &DML) show significant changes (CI 95% p valve < 0.05). In tinel test, and Flick Sign, there were no significant changes (p value>0.05). About 47.8 % of cases cured completely and other changes (p value > 0.05). Changed so much but there were no significant changes in CTS grades in Chi square test, it may be due to the patients’ low count. 74.99% of patients were satisfied or highly satisfied with the therapy. Conclusion: We recommended that intercessory prayer (IP) should be considered in the employed as a cost - effective, non-invasive, low side effect treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome. It deserves to be studied more with enough patient sampling. Manuscript profile

This research intends to investigate the effectiveness of Logotherapy together with recitation of Quran and prayers on treatment of depression and enhancing T helper Cell (CD4+) in depressed patients. The research proposal type was Quasi-experimental design with pre and post examination, follow-up period and control group. The research community included 50 women with neurotic depression who referred to private clinics and counseling and psychotherapy centers. The patients were homogeneous in terms of age, economic-social status, having standard deviation above the average in BDI depression questionnaire, not suffering from illnesses that undermines the immune system, and other specified variables. 30 of the patients were selected at random and were divided randomly into experimental and control groups. The means used in this study included a BDI, assessment of immune cell in lab via the flow cytometric method. The experimental group received psychotherapy in 12 sessions through Logotherapy together with recitation of Quran and prayers but the control group did not receive the treatment. Then the levels of depression signs and the activities of the immune cells in the two groups before and after treatment and during the three-month follow-up period were analyzed. The findings showed a meaningful difference between the experimental group and the control group in terms of depression signs and T helper Cell (CD4+). After the experiment depression signs decreased meaningfully in the experimental group compared to the levels before the experiment and compared to the control group while the number of immune cells increased. These findings continued meaningfully during the follow-up period Manuscript profile

Humankind is exposed to tensions, failures, and stress throughout his or her life. An individual can overcome the consequences of anxiety and depression through paying attention to Islamic teachings, including fulfillment of duties as a servant of God, as well as through teachings conforming to Fitrat (nature), Tawakkul (putting one’s trust in God), Zikr (prayers), practice, and learning ways for self-improvement. He or she is always facing stress resulting from the difference between their needs and their inability to meet those needs as well as from obstacles and limitations in the environment. He or she is constantly facing tension for having demands that cannot be fulfilled. Hence, understanding the factors behind creation of anxiety and depression is important as these affect one’s health. This paper, using the analytical method of research and benefiting from the teachings of the Quran describes tries o clarify the treatment aspects of anxiety and depression and seeks to offer a Quranic teaching for removing every factor that has a role in causing anxiety and depression. Some Quranic premises can be viewed as psychological theories about behavioral errors (that cause anxiety and depression) and acting upon these premises can be effective in preventing and curing common psychological disorders. Due to the high rate of self-injury in adolescents in 2022 and its destructive effect, the present study was conducted to evaluate the effect of dialectical behavior therapy on self-criticism and self-compassion of adolescents with a history of self-injury behaviors. The design of the present study is a single-subject experiment with several baselines. The target population was girls who were referred to education centers in 2021. As sample, 3 female adolescents in Shiraz with a history of self-injury behaviors were selected by purposive sampling. Research tools included inventory of statements about self-injury (ISAS) of Klonsky and Glenn (2009), self-criticism questionnaires (FSCRS) of Gilbert et al (2004), Neff) Self-compassion questionnaires (SCS) (2003), and structured clinical interviews for personality disorders (SCID-5 PD) (2014). Each person was randomly assigned to the baseline stage over a period of two, three, or four weeks. Adolescents then received 16 sessions of treatment and also their parents received 5 sessions of therapy and after one month a follow-up was carried out. Dialectical behavior therapy was effective in reducing self-criticism and increasing self-compassion in all three clients after treatment, but the stability of the treatment effect remained only for the first and second clients whose parents involved in therapy regularly. It seems that the application of dialectical behavior therapy skills with the cooperation and support of parents can be associated with a decrease in self-criticism and increased self-compassion in female adolescents with a history of self-injury behaviors. For the first time, by the single article (Act) of the "Therapeutic Abortion Act" approved in 2005, abortion was conditionally prescribed due to "fetal disease which causes Hardship to the mother, due to fetal retardation or deformation". With the approval of the "Family and Youth of the Population's Protection Act" in 2021 and the abrogation of that single article, Hardship-based abortion, has been released from merely fetal disease or defect, and generally has been expanded to "severe unbearable Hardship for the mother". This change is considered a big leap in Iran's legislation and needs to be analyzed and investigated. The purpose of this article is to analyze and explain the conditions, criteria, effects, and efficiency of Hardship-based abortion in the new law. Its method is Descriptive and Analytical. It seems that: 1. Limiting abortion to fetal disease or defects is not logically justified. 2. In some cases, the social and psychological (not physical) Hardship caused by pregnancy, is much more severe and impactful than the fetal diseases. 3. Every dissatisfaction and excuse cannot be considered as a case for a mother's Hardship; rather, the definition, criteria, and examples for Hardship, must be carefully explained. 4. The special procedure in the new Act, guarantees a thorough and comprehensive proceeding to each case. Manuscript profile

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of schema therapy on increasing self-efficacy and life expectancy of divorced women and its effect on reducing the initial maladaptive patterns of their daughters. The scheme of this experimental study was pretest-posttest with a control group. The statistical population was considered all divorced women and their daughters in Urmia in 2017. The sample consisted of 30 divorced women and their daughters who were referred to the family health clinic under the supervision of the Welfare of West Azerbaijan Province. These women were purposefully selected and divided into two experimental groups (15 people), and a control group (15 people) were randomly assigned. In the experimental group, the intervention was performed in groups of 8 sessions of 90 minutes based on schema therapy, but no intervention was applied to the control group. The instruments were Schier's self-efficacy questionnaire (1982), Schneider's life expectancy questionnaire (1991), and the short form of Young's early maladaptive schemas questionnaire (1998). Research data were analyzed by covariance. Findings showed that schema therapy has effectively increased self-efficacy, the life expectancy of divorced women, and modulating maladaptive schemas of their daughters (P<0.000). Schema therapy as a technique can effectively improve the self-efficacy and life expectancy of these divorced women and modify the maladaptive schemas of their daughters. Manuscript profile

Each case of dystocia is a clinical problem that may be solved if a correct procedure is followed. The diagnosis and treatment of dystocia requires a good understanding of normal parturition and sensitivity to the welfare of both dam and offspring. Difficult birth will occur when the expulsive forces are insufficient, when the birth canal is of inadequate size and shape, or when the presenting diameter of the fetus is unable to pass through the normal birth canal because it is too large or its disposition prevents it from doing so. The incidence of dystocia in heifers has been calculated to be anywhere from three to ten times that of multiparous cows, whether in beef or dairy cattle. Risk factors for dystocia are fetal-dam disparity, abnormal fetal position, vulval, vaginal, or cervical stenosis and uterine torsion. Preventing dystocia, particularly in first-calf heifers, is a very important component of a successful reproductive program on any dairy or beef operation and there are numerous factors have been involved in the incidence of dystocia. Even when plans are in place to limit dystocia risk to an acceptable level (<15% for heifers, <5% for cows), there are still cases of dystocia in beef and dairy herds. One of the most important fundamentals for optimum dystocia management is for the owner to know when to intervene or call for assistance. Manuscript profile
