Abstract :
The current research was conducted with the aim of the effectiveness of schema mode therapy on post-divorce adjustment and psychological capital of divorced women with children. The current study was a semi-experimental design of pre-test-post-test and two-month follow-up with a control group. The statistical population of the research included divorced women covered by the social service bases of Kermanshah city in 1402-1403. The study sample was 30 female heads of the household, who were selected by available sampling and based on the criteria for entering and exiting the study and were randomly assigned to two experimental groups and one control group (15 people in each group). The collection tools of the present study were Lathan’s psychological capital questionnaires and Fisher's post-divorce adjustment questionnaire. The experimental group received 12 90-minute sessions of the mindfulness-based schema therapy protocol, and the control group did not receive any intervention. Data analysis was done using mixed variance analysis and based on its assumptions. The results showed that the schema mode therapy protocol on psychological capital and adjustment after divorce is effective (P<0.001). Based on this, it can be concluded that the findings of this study support the effectiveness of the schema mode therapy protocol.
