The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral stress management training on quality of life and happiness in M .S patients in Shiraz. The present study is a semi-experimental type. The statistical population of this study included all patients referring to the MS Society of Shiraz in 1397. Among them, 30 women were selected by available sampling and randomly assigned to two groups of the experimental and control group. The used scales included The quality of life questionnaire for patients with MS Ayatollahy (2006) and the Oxford happiness questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Covariate analysis). The results showed that the implementation of stress management training improves the quality of life(F=10.12, P<00.04) and happiness(F=118.84, P<0.01) in the experimental group compared to the control group. According to the results of the study, cognitive-behavioral stress management can improve the quality of life and happiness in these patients. Therefore, this training program can be used as an intervention program for the target group. Manuscript profile

Urban livability is one of the basic foundations of sustainable urban development, and as a dual-use coin, one of which is livelihoods, and on the other, it is ecological sustainability. The purpose of this study is to provide a combination model of Tehran metropolis based on infrastructure indicators. The research method is descriptive -analytical and of survey type and in terms of its purpose. Data were collected through a library-based survey and a researcher-made questionnaire. 485 residents of Tehran's metropolitan area were sampled using probability sampling and data were collected using structural equations and statistical tests in Smart PLS, Spss software were analyzed. The results of this study indicate that among the 13 biodegradability indicators measured in the 22 metropolitan areas of Tehran metropolitan area, the index of infrastructure facilities and services has the highest score and the index of continuity and location belonging to the lowest scores. And among the three dimensions of bioavailability, the highest score belongs to the economic dimension. Other findings of the study showed that in the 22 areas of Tehran, the 1, 3, and 2 ranges have the highest score and opposite to the 20th zone in the lowest rank in terms of biomass indicators. The descriptive statistics regarding the final score and the livability dimensions in the 22 areas showed that the average life expectancy score of the metropolis of Tehran was 3.041, which is at a low level. Nowadays, a majority of cities suffer from shortage of quality spaces for collective living. Undesirable space and lack of identity are among factors which put a higher emphasis on promoting quality of life. Life quality is a multi-aspect and complex category, and this concept has various meaning for different people and groups with respect to time and local conditions. Nowadays, life quality has decreased in various aspects and people′s presence has faded away in urban areas. However, existing population in public spaces is such that we face a large number of population in some spaces. This population is a factor to decrease collective life quality in cities. This population does not have sufficient area and required facilities to do voluntary activities in the area, and consequently less interactions will be hold, resulting in urban areas which have changed into sedentary spaces and without manifesting social life conditions. The major function of cities is facilitating the presence of citizens in urban spaces, collective life has become the victim of automobile comfort. Thus, the study is looking for explaining the position of public spaces in meeting regeneration policies in ineffective contexts such that promoting public spaces provides some conditions to promote people′s life quality in ineffective contexts (historic contexts). Today, in most developed countries, habitability is discussed as a principle in the context of sustainability. It is also argued that viability assessment can help implement new urban plans by providing a descriptive method for assessing urban environments and their quality, and varied approaches. Living quality is one of the main concepts of urban design, which has practical and theoretical importance. In this research, an attempt was made to formulate a theoretical framework to explain the concept of happiness in the environment by analyzing the scope of Tajrish and placing a policy for creating happy environments. Then, by introducing and recognizing its constituent components, a model should be presented in order to extract solutions called design policies. Therefore, after reviewing the quality indicators through selected criteria related to happiness, they have been studied in four influential dimensions. By measuring the extracted situation, the results showed that in addition to the three main stages of knowing the current situation, knowing the future ahead, the connection between the past and the future, which in urban culture is called livability, the fifth phase of analysis with three main components including, Identity, structure, and meaning have emerged that will be responsive to the policies of the four main dimensions. The descriptive-correlation method was used. According to the random convenience sampling method, 385 married women in Shiraz were selected by the Cochran formula as the statistical population. The selected population was asked to answer the Marital Conflict Questionnaire (MCQ) (Barati and Sanaee, 1372- solar calendar), Dyadic Adjustment Scale (DAS)(Busby etal, 1995), and Communication Patterns Questionnaire (CPQ)(Christensen and Sullaway, 1984). The data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate regression. Findings showed a significant correlation between marital life quality and communication patterns with marital conflicts (P<0/01). Regression analyses also revealed that %27.4 of the variance of marital conflicts was explained by the marital life quality and communication patterns. For this purpose, a sample of 380 sixth grade female students of Yasouj schools was selected by multi-stage sampling method. The procrastination questionnaires of Solomon and Rothblum (1984), the students' adjustment questionnaire (1993), and the quality of life in school questionnaire of Anderson and Brook (2000) were completed by the subjects. The analysis of the results from the implementation of Pearson correlation showed that academic procrastination with adjustment Education and quality of life in school and academic grade have a significant negative correlation. Also, academic adjustment has a significant positive correlation with the quality of life at school. Women's mental health can influence their other responsibilities, so the investigation of the role of mental health factors is considered as an important subject. The present study aimed to investigate the role of emotional components of quality of life in predicting the mental health of married women. This study was conducted with a correlational method. Therefore, using purposeful sampling, 240 individuals were selected from the population of Shiraz married women and tested in cyberspace using the SF-36 Quality of Life Questionnaire and the General Health Questionnaire – 28 (GHQ-28). Data were analyzed using multiple regression method (simultaneous model). Results showed that emotional components of quality of life had a significant relationship with mental health. Findings showed that the components of energy/fatigue, emotional well-being, and social functioning had a positive role in predicting the mental health of married women; and role dysfunction had a negative role due to lack of emotional health. Hence, it can be concluded that emotional well-being, happiness, and vitality of married women could play an important role in their mental health. Manuscript profile
