This study aimed to investigate the relationship between seven components of women's lifestyle (sleep, omega-3 intake, exercise, sunlight, and socialization, using cyberspace and using traditional media) with their mental health according to an evolutionary point of view. The statistical population included women over 18 years old living in Shiraz in 1398-99, of which 182 women answered the questionnaires by sampling. Lifestyle questionnaires and Hopkins syndrome were used to collect data. Data analysis was performed using two tests of Pearson correlation coefficient and regression coefficient using SPSS-26 software. The results showed that in general, omega-3 consumption has a significant Curved linear dual relation with mental health. Among the subscales of the Hopkins sign, sleep also showed a significant positive relationship with somatization and obsessive-compulsive disorder. It can be seen that women's lifestyle has a great impact on their mental health, their children, and maintaining the physical and mental health of the family. Promoting a lifestyle that is more in line with women's evolutionary past is a more plausible perspective that can improve their mental health. Manuscript profile

Abstract: The purpose of the present study was to determine the relationship between spiritual in-telligence and locus of control with students' men-tal health. To do so, 400 male and female under-graduate students at Shahid Chamran University of Ahwaz were selected as subjects through ran-dom multistage sampling. The subjects completed the King's Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report In-ventory (SISRI-24) the Nowicki-Strickland's Lo-cus of Control Questionnaire (LOCQ), and Ge-neral Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28). By apply-ing simple correlation, the findings showed that there was a significant and positive correlation between spiritual intelligence and its three dimen-sions (personal meaning production, transcend-dental consciousness, and consciousness state ex-pansion) with mental health. However, there was no significant correlation between critical thinking (one dimension of spiritual intelligence), and men-tal health. In addition, there existed asignificant relation between locus of control and mental hea-lth. The results from regression analysis indicated that locus of control and spiritual intelligence, res-pecttively, play a role in predicating the mental health. Besides, the regression analysis of spiritual intelligence dimensions (critical thinking, personal meaning production, transcendental consciousness, and consciousness state expansion) indicated that only the personal meaning production can pre-dicate 0.05 of mental health. Human beings always seek the desired results and make efforts and struggles to that end. Fear of undesired results and failure irks human soul. Today, failure to reach one’s objectives has become a major source of mental health problems in society. Some factors in life cause one’s efforts and toils not to succeed. This research, using the descriptive-analytical method, has investigated such factors based on the teachings of the Quran. The Quranic teachings highlight the fact that man’s efforts are different from his responsibility. They also introduce internal obstacles to the success of efforts, including lack of determination, imprudence, conceit, hypocrisy, lack of pure intention (Ikhlas), lack of Trust in God (Tawakkul), and lack of purpose. This research seeks to clarify how much these factors impact mental health, because one of the main aspects of health is mental health that paves the way for one’s personal and social growth. Being healthy requires various factors, one of which is having a healthy mind. One who is suffering from thought disorder and mental anxieties can never have an accurate understanding of the realities of the universe and society will not be able to grow and make progress physically and mentally. Quran, as a divine book, has paid attention to all aspects of human life, including health. The Quran’s mention of the word Shifa (healing), which implies health, signifies this attention. An investigation of this word based on Shia and Sunni Quran exegeses shows that the Quran is Shifa in that it cleanses humans of false beliefs and gives them healing with the light of guidance. God, the Almighty, has first preached all human beings so that all of them receive Shifa through the Quran. But preaching is not effective for all of them as only some of them are inspired by preaching. These are the faithful who receive Shifa thanks to their willingness to accept the truth and obey divine commandments and the instructions of the Quran. When they gain Shifa, they also receive divine guidance and mercy. Of course Shifa for physical illnesses is not found in the Quran and should be sought in the material world. However, the mention of honey in the Quran is an example of divine signs that show that all blessings of God are beneficial and that some of them can certainly have healing effects. In general, attachment can be defined as the emotional atmosphere that governs a child's relationship with his caregiver. The fact that the child seeks and clings to the caregiver, who is usually his mother, confirms the attachment between them. Babies usually begin to show such behavior by the end of the first month of life, and this behavior is designed to accelerate intimacy with the desired person. According to Skinner, human mental health is equivalent to behavior that conforms to the rules and regulations of society, and such a human being when faced with a problem until it is considered normal by society, through behavior modification to improve and normalize the behavior of himself and others around him. It is used intermittently. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between attachment styles and the mediating role of mental health in teachers in Yasuj. To achieve this goal, a sample of 198 teachers in Yasuj was selected through available sampling. The instruments used included a general health questionnaire, Hazen and Shaver attachment, and Miller and Bron self-regulation. The results showed that avoidant attachment style (t = 04.50, p = 0.001) and safe attachment (t = 49/49, p = 0.013) can significantly predict mental health.
In recent years, living in residential complexes can be considered one of the most important developments in housing, which has become a form of contemporary living and housing in cities. Also, with the excessive growth of residential complexes and their physical development, we sometimes see a decline in the quality of residential spaces, which has caused various problems in the lives of the residents of these complexes. In this regard, the crises arising from apartment living have created a wide range of mental disorders, such as stress, anxiety, depression, etc. The current research is based on the evaluation and analysis of the impact of the physical components of the environment on mental health; so that the results may open the way for the design of healthy and growing residential spaces. In order to measure people's mental health and examine the environmental elements, the GHQ-12 standard questionnaire was used, and the environment's physical components were taken into consideration. Also, a researcher-made questionnaire was prepared based on the environment's influential physical components. This questionnaire was answered by 340 residents of different residential complexes in Shiraz, and SPSS software was used to analyze and process the information. The findings of the present research show that the physical environment of residential complexes has a fundamental role in life quality and consequently has the greatest negative impact on the mental health of the residents. As a result, it has been determined that there is a reliable relationship between human health and the surrounding physical environment. Also, it concluded that to ensure the mental health of residents, the physical components of residential environments should be taken into consideration and designers should try to improve and fix their defects.
Manuscript profile
