The Covid-19 pandemic has affected various aspects of human life and changed many systems and practices of the past. Since the beginning of the pandemic, technology is among the fields that have received serious public attention. It's expected that technology has a significant impact on overcoming the Covid-19 crisis and resolving the challenges posed by it. However, the effects of Covid-19 on technology and technological innovation systems have received less attention. Using the futures wheel method, this research identifies and visualizes the direct and indirect consequences of Covid-19 on technology. The input of the focus group discussions for the design of the futures wheel is derived from the qualitative content analysis of existing studies and reports on the effects of Covid-19 on technology. After the first version was designed by the focus group, the results were presented to fifteen experts with different specialties to modify the wheel in addition to confirm the validity of the research. Comments were reached consensus in two rounds of interviews and the final version of the wheel was drawn. The research findings represent the pattern of Covid-19 effects on technology under four main consequences: recession and economic problems; the need for fast, efficient, and effective solutions to deal with the crisis; lockdown policies; and the environmental impact of Covid-19. The most important policy proposals to deal with the identified consequences are: supporting the development of crisis-related technologies; supporting the continuation of companies' activities; supporting innovation competitions; removing obstacles to the export of technological products; Expediting patenting and licensing processes; Applying demand-side innovation policy tools; Investigating the risks of emerging technologies; regulation of emerging technologies; Designing a dynamic business atlas; and removing restrictions on access to materials and equipment needed for research and development Manuscript profile

Burnout encompassed a host of medical, psychological, emotional and performance-related issues that can always be affected by individual and coach factors in elite athletes; therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between perfectionism and burnout, mediated by perceived coaching style in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic. In this cross-sectional study, 258 elite athletes (M= 22.05 years, SD= 3.08; 148 male) participated and completed scales of multidimensional perfectionism, athlete burnout and coaching style. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics by structural equation modeling. The results indicate that direct paths perfectionism to burnout, perfectionism to coaching style, coaching style to burnout, and indirect pathways to perfectionism to burnout were mediating by coaching style, significant. The results indicate that during the COVID 19, athletes who are less able to organize performance standards and expectations of themselves and others, and who are more committed to meeting external demands, are at higher risk of burnout. One could develop coach-education programmes that challenge beliefs regarding the effectiveness of controlling coaching behaviors to reduce perfectionist tendencies and expectations in athletes. In doing so, one might curtail the risk of burnout in athlete during the COVID 19. Manuscript profile

Background and Aim: Privacy is considered one of the most important dimensions related to children's rights, especially during the pandemic and quarantine, it is necessary to pay more attention to respecting it in the family environment. This research was done with the aim of explaining the concept, examples and issues of child privacy in the family with emphasis on pandemic conditions. Method: The present research was done with descriptive-analytical method using library resources. Results: The Covid Pandemic highlights the need for new ways of thinking about data protection. This is especially true of child-related health research. Responsible use of children's information plays a key role in promoting children's health and guaranteeing their right to health and privacy. With the widespread outbreak of the coronavirus worldwide, governments have put protocols, such as quarantine, in place to reduce the prevalence of the virus. With children quarantined at home and social activities shut down, the home is no longer the only place to relax and socialize with family. With the limitation of children's daily activities to the home environment, the issue of respecting the child's privacy is becoming more and more important in various aspects. Conclusion: For many children, school, extracurricular classes, socializing with peers, fun, etc. are summarized at home. Concentrating children's activities at home does not mean that all aspects of a child's life are observable for parents; rather, it should be noted that the child still has privacy and all his/her rights in private solitude, physical privacy, information privacy, communication privacy and personal privacy are still protected. The pandemic disease outbreaks are causing a significant financial crisis affecting the worldwide economy. Machine learning techniques are urgently required to detect, predict and analyze the economy for early economic planning and growth. Consequently, in this paper, we use machine learning classifiers and regressors to construct an early warning model to tackle economic recession due to the cause of covid-19 pandemic outbreak. A publicly available database created by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) is used to validate the model, which contains information about national revenue, employment rate, and workers' earnings of the USA over 239 days (1 January 2020 to 12 May 2020). Different techniques such as missing value imputation, k-fold cross validation have been used to pre-process the dataset. Machine learning classifiers- Multi-layer Perceptron- Neural Network (MLP-NN) and Random Forest (RF) have been used to predict recession. Additionally, machine learning regressors-Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Random Forest (RF) have been used to detect how much recession a country is facing as a result of positive test cases of covid-19 pandemic. Experimental results demonstrate that the MLP-NN and RF classifiers have exhibited average 88.33% and 85% of recession (where 95%, 81%, 89% and 85%, 81%, 89% for revenue, employment rate and workers earnings, respectively) and average 90.67% and 93.67% of prediction accuracy for LSTM and RF regressors (where 92%, 90%, 90%, and 95%, 93%, 93% respectively). Introduction: Many businesses were challenged by the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020 worldwide. Meanwhile, the tourism industry was among those industries that were affected the most by the pandemic, suffering huge losses economically. Therefore, considering the restrictions imposed by governments on tourists’ travels to counter the spread of the virus, turning to virtual tourism can partially compensate for some of the losses incurred in this regard. Goal: Investigating the potential tourists' attitudes toward AR applications, their intention to use them in their future travels, and, similarly, their intention to recommend these applications to others. Methods: The required data were collected via online questionnaires using the convenient sampling method. The research questions were then analyzed via the SPSS software using a binominal test. Findings & Results: The results indicated the positive attitude of the respondents and their high willingness to use and recommend this application to others. Conclusion: The findings of the study suggested that the respondents had a positive attitude towards using AR-based applications and that they were willing to use them for their future travels. Moreover, it was found that they were ready to recommend such applications to others. Therefore, AR technology could be regarded as an opportunity for marketing managers of tourist destinations to use to maintain public awareness of their destinations’ brands during the lockdown imposed upon the outbreak of pandemics such as covid-19. Moreover, this new technology can help flourish tourist destinations by creating added value for tourists. Manuscript profile

The tourism industry has long been recognized as one of the most vulnerable industries to crises. Among the various sectors active in the tourism context, the hotel sector has been most affected by declining travel and accommodation rates during the Covid-19 pandemic. To this end, in order to reduce the destructive effects of crises on the hotel sector, the literature introduces the concept of resilience. Therefore, the present study investigates the effect of psychological capital of hotel owners and managers on organizational resilience during the outbreak of Covid-19. The present research, in terms of practical purpose, the method of collecting data is survey data and considering the relationship between variables, correlation with emphasis on structural equation modeling. To understand the relationships of the conceptual model, this study collected data using a questionnaire that was distributed among 157 owners and managers of hotel and apartment hotels in Mashhad in a convenience method. The results of testing hypotheses using SPSS and SmartPLS 3.0 software indicate that the psychological capital of owners/managers of hotel can instil hope and optimism in the employees too and can help them to accept the reality and prepare for future contingencies. It also highlights the impact of owners/manager's life satisfaction on organizational resilience relationship stating that the levels of life satisfaction of owners and managers of hotel significantly influence the process of recovery of the business. This means that despite of adversities, resilient owners and managers would make efforts to get over the negativities of COVID-19 and try to get back to normal. Manuscript profile

Providing theoretical resources for the emergency policies of governments in the face of unexpected crises is one of the most important tasks of the scientific community of any country. Fighting the COVID-19 epidemic crisis as a comprehensive threat to the international community has led many governments to change their health care policies by being surprised by the severity of the disease. In this regard, the philosophers of the Stockholm School of Ethics have tried to help the Swedish healthcare system control and manage the epidemic of COVID-19. How to interpret and determine the biological age of patients according to the epidemic emergency is one of the most notable parts of this theory. Accordingly, by determining the actual age difference from the biological of each patient, it is possible to determine the probability of survival after treatment and his life expectancy. The Stockholm School of Philosophy suggests that if you have to decide between helping patients with the same probability of survival who have different life expectancies, the priority should be to help a patient who is younger biologically. The present study, in a descriptive-analytical manner, examines and critiques this legal-ethical theory and will explain the consequences and effects of adopting such policies on the social system. The global prevalence and unprecedented COVID-19 disease is a serious threat to public health and increases psychological distress in individuals. It is crucial to study the structural model of COVID-19 psychological factors associated with COVID-19 and the lack of previous research on this issue presented in this study. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of gender modulation in the relationship between the five major factors of personality and psychological distress in hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Improved patients of Covid-19 (N= 705; Age range 25-80 years, women= 63/20%; Mean age = 41/32, SD = 11/05 years). They were selected from Sasan and Baqiyatallah hospitals by available sampling method. The instruments used were the Five Personality-Short Form Questionnaire (BFI-S) and the Psychological Distress Scale (K10). R software (Lavan) package was used to analyze the data. Openness in women increases anxiety, but in men, it reduces anxiety. Moreover, the effect of openness on distress in the two groups of men and women was statistically significant (P = 0.002); Extraversion was also associated with decreased anxiety in men (P = 0.000); therefore, gender is the moderator of these relationships. These results explain the process of psychological distress by considering personality factors and the critical role of gender as a moderator and the need to pay attention to intervention approaches to reduce the effects of psychological distress in the research literature. The aim of this study was to compare the health literacy and the lifestyle of Covid-19 patients admitted to Shahid Firooz-abadi Hospital in Tehran's 20th district and non-covid-19 patients. For this purpose, 60 Covid 19 patients admitted to the hospital were compared to 60 patients with diseases other than Covid-19. To achieve this goal, two questionnaires were submitted to the participants; Health literacy of Iran's Urban Population and Miller-Smith Lifestyle Assessment Ques naire. Data analysis was performed using central tendency analysis (mean), and multivariate analysis of variance. The results showed a significant difference between these two groups on the two variables of health literacy and lifestyle. The results showed that the Covid-19 patients had a higher level of health literacy than non-covid-19 patients. It is possible that covid-19 patients attempt to gather health-related information in order to accelerate the recovery process, to prevent other family members from getting infected, to reduce the side effects of medications and the disease, have led to an increase in health literacy in this group compared to non-covid-19 patients. This article surveys the fundamental value of digital platforms, such as Instagram and Google. Despite the commutable nature of digital technologies, it is challenging to value digital services, given that the usage is free of charge. Applying the methodology of discrete choice experiments, we estimated the value of digital free goods. For the first time in the literature, we obtained data for the willingness-to-pay and willingness-to-accept, together with socio-economic variables. The customer’s valuation of free digital services is on average, for Google, 4.9m Rial per week and Instagram, 3.27. This paper corroborates that Instagram and Google have an intrinsic value to users, despite the fact that the service of the digital platforms is free of charge. This is the beginning of the valuation of free services such as Shad, Rubika, Zarebeen, etc. in Iran, which has played a significant role in the communication industry since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, and in the discussion of the national information network, the market value of the provider companies will be very important.
This study aims to investigate the sexual harassment of girls and the injuries inflicted on them during the quarantine period of the coronavirus pandemic. This narrative review involved a comprehensive search of databases, including PubMed, Science Direct, Civilica, Noormags, SID, Springer, and Google Scholar, reviewing published articles on the sexual abuse of girls during the Covid-19 outbreak in recent years. The articles revealed contradictory and dual results. In the early stages of COVID-19, there were signs of resilience in the general population with an extraordinary ability to bounce back and adapt. However, during the coronavirus pandemic and quarantine conditions, the environment for violence, mistreatment at home, sexual harassment, and sexual abuse against girls was fostered. Therefore, educating and informing parents, as well as educating and informing girls, can be very effective in this regard. For this reason, one of the ways to improve this situation is to increase the awareness and knowledge of parents and daughters, in various means during the corona pandemic.
Manuscript profile
