Comparison of the relationship between social stigmas and perceived social support among sixth grade students in Yasouj city

Abstract :
It seems that the more social support and strength a person has in dealing with social stigmas, dealing with life's problems and stresses, the less he is exposed to mental and emotional disturbances and benefits from higher mental health and well-being. The current research aims to compare the relationship between social stigmas and Perceived social support among the 6th grade students of Yasouj city. The research method of this research was a correlational description and the statistical population included all students with and without covid-19 in Yasouj. From the mentioned society, 103 people were selected by sampling from the society using the available method and sampling the society by cluster random sampling. To collect research data, questionnaires of administered social support questionnaire, standard questionnaire of internal stigma of mental patients were used and the results were analyzed using statistical methods of correlation coefficient, linear regression and structural equations. The findings of the research showed that there is a significant positive relationship between social stigma and perceived social support among students with and without covid-19.
