The present study investigated the relationship between relationship beliefs and couple burnout and the role of mindfulness as a possible mediating variable. Method of the present study was correlational and all married people in Yazd city were considered as the statistical population with a sample size of 380 subjects (200 females & 180 males) who were selected through available sampling method in 2016. The participants completed Belief Inventory (RBI), Mindfulness, Attention and Awareness Scale (MAAS), and Couple Burnout Measure (‎CBM). As data analysis showed that, there was a significant negative relationship between mindfulness and the relationship beliefs subscales “disagreement is destructive to a relationship”, “partners cannot change themselves and their relationship”, “one should be sexually perfect”, and “there are differences between males’ and females’ personalities and relationship needs”. Also, there was a negatively significant relation between mindfulness and couple burnout. The findings also indicated that relationship beliefs subscales were positively related to couple burnout. In addition, data from path analysis indicated that mindfulness plays a mediating role in relationship between irrational relationship beliefs and couple burnout. Manuscript profile

The present study aimed at investigating the mediating role of mindfulness in the relationship between depression, anxiety, stress and psychological well-being. Current study is a descriptive study. A total of 198 (137 female and 61 male) participants completed the paper-and-pencil form of Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS), Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS) and Ryff Psychological Well-being Scale. The mediating role of mindfulness was explored using the PROCESS v3.0 plugin for SPSS. The results revealed that mindfulness significantly (p<0.01) mediated the relationship between 1) anxiety and total well-being, 2) anxiety and mastery as well as depression and master, and 3) all three independent variables and self-growth. Data also showed that, regarding some emotional disturbances (i.e., anxiety), trait mindfulness could prove similarly effective with both low and high emotionality, while with respect to other difficulties (i.e., depression) it will only foster psychological well-being when negative affectivity level is only low or moderate. The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating role of mindfulness in the relationship between parental psychological control and suicidal ideation. Participants included 375 undergraduate students (204 girls and 171 boys) from Shiraz University who were selected using multistage random cluster sampling. They completed the dependency-oriented and achievement-oriented psychological control scale, five facet mindfulness questionnaire, and beck scale for suicide ideation. Reliability of research instruments was determined by Cronbach's alpha and validity by confirmatory factor analysis and internal consistency. The results of structural equation modeling showed that the proposed model fits well with the data of this study and that parental psychological control negatively predicts the dimensions of mindfulness. The findings also showed that parental psychological control has an indirect effect (through mindfulness) on suicidal thoughts. It is concluded that the parents' induction of shame and guilt in order to achievement or dependency of children can prevent mindfulness and then determine suicidal thoughts. Manuscript profile

The present study was conducted to investigate a causal model for identifying the prognosis of obsessive-compulsive disorder based on mindfulness, control and cognitive flexibility in women. The present study was a descriptive correlational study in which the assumed relationships between variables were investigated using the path analysis method. In this model, the mindfulness variable was considered as an exogenous variable, and cognitive control and flexibility were considered as mediating variables and symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder as an endogenous variable. The statistical population included all women aged 18 and over living in Shiraz, of which 150 were selected as a sample group by random sampling. The tools used in this study included Yale Brown obsessive-compulsive disorder questionnaires, Freiburg mindset (short form), and cognitive control and flexibility. The results showed that mindfulness predicts the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder inversely and significantly (β = -0.35). Cognitive flexibility (β = -0.24) and cognitive control (β = -0.23) were also negative and significant predictors of obsessive-compulsive disorder symptoms. Mindfulness was a positive and significant predictor of cognitive control (β = 0.80) and cognitive flexibility (β = 0.60). Finally, cognitive flexibility and cognitive control were able to mediate the role of exogenous and intrinsic variables. Play a child. Accordingly, mindfulness can reduce the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder by affecting the two variables of cognitive flexibility and cognitive control. Mindfulness predicts the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder inversely and significantly. In addition, cognitive flexibility is a negative and significant predictor of symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder; In addition, both cognitive flexibility and cognitive control variables could play a mediating role between exogenous and endogenous variables. The results indicated a good fit of the model with the data and the significance of the direct effect of the perception of the classroom environment on wisdom, boredom, and academic incivility, as well as mindfulness on wisdom and academic incivility. The indirect effect of mindfulness and perception of the classroom environment on academic boredom with the mediating role of wisdom was also statistically significant. Based on this, it can be concluded that in order to reduce the boredom and academic incivility of students, it is necessary to pay attention to the wisdom resulting from the perception of the classroom environment and their mindfulness.
Manuscript profile
