One of the issues that can be considered in Shahnameh and other national epic works is morality. Bahman Nama of Hakim Iranshah Ebn Abi Al-Kheir is one of the most famous epics after Shahnameh, the story of the kingdom of Bahman and his revenge from the family of Rostam for the revenge of Esfandiar's blood, that full of ethical virtues and vices. However, in all religions, they have paid Ethical requirements and non-requirements. But since Bahman Nama is related to the advent of Zoroastrianism and the Lohrasb family is one of the Zoroastrian servants, it seems that the epic saying in the statement of the ethical points of the story has affected the ethical principles of Zoroastrianism more than Islamic ethics. This article tries to examine the Bahman Nama with this view through a descriptive-analytical method. God's prayer, forgiveness, fulfillment of the covenant and ... are a part of virtues and revenge, breach of covenant, oppression, lies and anger of ethical vices in this book, each with many examples in Bahman Nama. The question of the concept and referent of “happiness” is rooted in Man’s nature. A comparison of the ideas of two authorities in this field, one from ancient Greece and the other from among the Islamic philosophers who were contemporary with Ibn Sina, is of great importance in appreciating the innovations of Muslim thinkers in comparison to those of Greek thinkers in various fields of philosophy. This short paper, which is based on an analytic-comparative study, after explaining the philosophical and ethical principles of each of these two schools, inquires into the similarities and differences between their ideas concerning happiness. Aristotle defined the theory of virtue and happiness based on the concept of “golden mean” with reference to some components such as the intellect, joy, and friendship. However, given his non-monotheistic view of God and the world and heedlessness of resurrection, he was not capable of providing a successful model for the concept and referent of happiness. In contrast, Ibn Miskawayh tries to explain the same concepts on the basis of the knowledge of the soul, the intellect, and the divine rule in the light of his monotheistic worldview. He divides happiness into two worldly and other-worldly types and introduces divine proximity as the true referent of happiness. Both of them define happiness as the transcendent good (supreme good); however, since the basic principles of their ethical philosophies are different from each other, their philosophical concomitants are also different from each other. What is the relationship between the cognitive field and the moral field? Some philosophers believe that morality and moral values should not be involved in the acquisition of knowledge and belief. Feelings and emotions, morality and ethics should be dominated by reason, not they interfere in the realm of beliefs (separation of knowledge from value). In contrast, another spectrum of philosophers emphasizes the influence of ethics on knowledge and rational belief. Due to the differences of views on the impact of moral behavior on cognitive and non-cognitive origins such as emotions and factors such as heredity, social environment, etc., as well as human cognitions of moral virtues and vices, this study is descriptive And the analysis of the text seeks to examine the relationship and effect of sensual and moral attributes on epistemological issues from the Qur'anic point of view of Allameh Tabatabai. According to him, by acquiring moral virtues, the ground for the formation of true belief can be provided. Moral vices can interfere with preventing the attainment of true knowledge or belief. 10 - An Evaluation of Martha Nussbaum’s View of the Non-Relativity of Virtues in Aristotelian Approach

The nature, role, and quality of attaining virtue hold an important place in Aristotle’s philosophy. He tried to provide a systematic account of Man’s goal of achieving virtue. Martha Nussbaum, the contemporary commentator of Aristotle, believes that some contemporary philosophers, although considering themselves as advocates of Aristotle, have some disagreements with him regarding certain key issues. Their mistake is rooted in their relativist approach to Aristotelian virtues. This approach stands in clear opposition to other views of Aristotle, who defended a single objective description of goodness or happiness for Man. Aristotle’s ethical virtue can explain many of the problems that relativists tried to solve and, at the same time, claim to be objective in the sense that relativism in one specific context does not mean being a relativist. For example, in other sciences, such as medicine and maritime, attention is devoted to particular cases, but it does not mean that the scholars and scientists in these fields are relativist. According to Nussbaum, Aristotelian virtues can explain virtue better than the virtues intended by relativists. However, this is the case when the specific features of a context are meticulously examined, and both shared and unshared characteristics are taken into consideration so that the best choice is made. In this paper, after explaining Nussbaum’s view concerning Aristotelian virtues, the author investigates three objections to his theory and, finally, clarifies the non-relativity of virtues in Aristotle’s thoughts.
