Agility makes it possible for organizations in today's complex and constantly changing environment to ensure their survival with rapid, innovative and creative responses. In this regard, the present study attempts to study main indicators of agility in Iran Power Development Organization (IPDO). Firstly, four main criterions referring to the literature selected include of “leveraging impact of people and information”, “cooperate to enhance competitiveness”, “enriching customer”, “mastering change and uncertainty”. Subsequently, by designing questionnaire and determining it’s content validity by academic members, intuitive data from IPDO experts has been collected. Then, reliability has been evaluated using Gous method for consistency examination of pairwise comparisons matrix. Finally data were analyzed using fuzzy multi-criteria decision making technique. The findings shows that “cooperate to enhance competitiveness” with the importance degree (0.301) is the most importance of the main criterion for selecting the more agile organizational unit. While in Iran Power Development Organization it has third priority. The main criteria “leveraging impact of people and information” with the importance degree (0.277), “mastering change and uncertainty” with the importance degree (0.238), “enriching customer” with the importance degree (0.184), were three next most important criterion in the selection of organizational units are more agile. The results point out that IPDO should be more focus on the priority of indicators affecting the agility to minimize the gap between current and desired situation. Manuscript profile

Abstract Learning orientation is an inevitable necessity in the new product development. However, few studies have been conducted on how the learning orientation affect on new product performance through potential intermediary variables. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the mediating role of ambidextrous capability and organizational agility in the relationship between learning orientation and new product performance. This research is a descriptive survey that was carried out in a field experiment. The statistical population of the research is senior managers and especially research and development managers of knowledge based companies located in Kerman province, of which 180 persons were selected as sample. The tool used is a standard questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis and structural equations were used to analyze the data. The findings show that learning orientation is positively related to ambidextrous capability and organizational agility. The ambidextrous capability and organizational agility also, in turn, are positively related to the performance of the new product. Finally, due to the lack of confirmation of the direct relationship between learning orientation and new product performance, the results confirm the full intermediary role of ambidextrous and organizational agility capabilites in this relationship.   Manuscript profile

The performance of many wireless protocols is tied to a quick Link Quality Estimation (LQE). However, some wireless applications need the estimation to respond quickly only to the persistent changes and ignore the transient changes of the channel, i.e., be agile and stable, respectively. In this paper, we propose an adaptive fuzzy filter to balance the stability and agility of LQE by mitigating the transient variation of it. The heart of the fuzzy filter is an Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA) low-pass filter that its smoothing factor is changed dynamically with fuzzy rules. We apply the adaptive fuzzy filter and a non-adaptive one, i.e., an EWMA with a constant smoothing factor, to several types of channels from short-term to long-term transitive channels. The comparison of the filters outputs shows that the non-adaptive filter is stable for large values of the smoothing factor and is agile for small values of smoothing factor, while the proposed adaptive filter outperforms the other ones in terms of balancing the agility and stability measured by the settling time and coefficient of variation, respectively. Notably, the proposed adaptive fuzzy filter performs in real time and its complexity is low, because of using limited number of fuzzy rules and membership functions. Manuscript profile

Background: Agility is one of the most critical factors in the sport performance of soccer players. Although various tests have been designed to measure agility, there is no agility test, based on soccer-specific movement patterns. Therefore, this study aimed to develop and examine of a soccer Specific Reactive Agility Test (SSRAGT)for Players U14 Years. Materials and Methods: 48 soccer players under the age of 14 years divided in two groups composed of 24 players. The group A were elite soccer players and active at the level of Asia vision, while group B were soccer players were active at the level of neighborhood and local competitions One hundred and seventy competitive soccer players under 14 years volunteered to participation in this study as subjects. The standard 505 Agility Test (505AT), Zig-zag Curl (ZZC) ، Zig-zag straight (ZZS) the test was performed for all participants on two separate days within a two-day interval at the same time and place. The SSRAGT was performed after two days. Results: In order to evaluate the intensity of agility test the number of steps and heartbeat after activity was applied. The 505-agility test with a heartbeat of 159.4±11.245b was lower than other tests. The number of steps in the 505-agility test indicated lower intensity and fewer steps 26.30±4.794b. The heartbeat and number of steps in the other test had a significant correlation with each other. The results of logistic regression between 48 player SSRAGT test can significantly predict the level of performance of young football players (OR = 1.437, P <0.01). As the ZZC test was able to significantly predict the performance level of the subjects in this study (OR = 1.05, P <0.01). Conclusion: Based on the result the reactive agility test for the soccer player in comparison with non-reactive agility test had the potential to distinguish between average and elite soccer players and due to its reactive nature, it is similar to movement patter in soccer, so it can be used as an efficient field tool to evaluate players’ agility levels.
