Today, the rapid increase in the cost of higher education and its quality and reduced public support for universities and higher educational institutions around the world on the one hand and rapid technological advances and the needs of economic systems for scientific knowledge ,on the other hand, academic system is converted into knowledge industry.. Increased productivity at universities is dependent upon the amount of research and development done which in terms of theoretical principles is called institutional research. In recent decades, the most important Iran’s economic problem has been low investment in the creation of knowledge and promotion of productivity. It is desirable for Iran’s universities to become knowledge based. So IR is the most suitable approach to achieve this goal. While the unit of Institutional Research of the world's most prestigious universities is created to strengthen university-industry collaboration, , it has been neglected in Iran’s universities. This research attempts to explain the concept of IR and identify the methods which can be implemented through the study of theoretical principles and Delphi technique. Manuscript profile

The main purpose of this research is to identify and investigate the organizational factors for implementing open innovation in Iran universities. This study was a qualitative-quantitative research. The field of research in the qualitative section was all open innovation articles and books in the period from 2007 to 2018 and open innovation components were extracted by thematic analysis in an inductive manner. In this research, the "Thematic Network" was used. The validity of the research was approved by the referee by the audit method. To calculate reliability, coding was done by studying row to row of selected resources manually by two individuals individually. After coding, the results of these two coding were compared by the Holsti method. The result of thematic analysis was the extraction of 20 basic themes from different sections of the articles. From these basic themes, 3 organizing themes and finally global theme of “organizational factors” were extracted. Then the proposed innovation model was designed and a questionnaire was prepared for fitting this model. The proposed model has three factors related to the organizational preparation, human resource preparation, and setting up for idea creation, which offered three dimensions for the university to exploit the open innovation. The statistical population in the quantitative part of the research was the managers of the centers of growth and innovation of various universities, including State universities, Islamic azad universities, Payam Noor universities, Scientific and Applied Sciences universities, and Medical universities licensed by the Ministry of Science and also faculty member of entrepreneurship management. To evaluate the content validity of the questionnaire, the Lawshe method was used. In order to study the structural validity of the test, the analysis of the questions was done by confirmatory factor analysis method. All calculated factor loads were greater than 0.6 indicating their favorable condition. Also, all calculated pi values were less than 0.05 which indicated a significant relationship between each factor and the main factor higher than its own. The reliability of the final test was also examined by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. All calculated Cronbach's alpha coefficients were greater than 0.7 which showed reliability acceptable. the results of the validity and reliability testing of the quantitative part confirmed the proposed model. The environment is one of the most important factors in education. Considering the characteristics and criteria of environmental design can construct new understandings and knowledge for learners. This study aims to present a theoretical strategy for creating an event-based architecture education environment using constructivist theory. The research question is what are the characteristics of appropriate architectural education spaces with event-based and constructivist education? This research is qualitative with practical consequences. The descriptive survey goal is cross-sectional in terms of time and inferential regarding logic. The indicators of constructive and event-based educational environments are identified from theoretical studies. Global experiences of constructive-learning environments have been explored. Then, Shiraz universities' graduate students, educated in the third and fourth semesters, have been selected as a sample. And the criteria of constructivism in their educational environments have were assessed with the tools of observation and questionnaire. After identifying and prioritizing the challenges, solutions were provided to create event-based learning environments. The results indicate that the lack of relationship between the educational environment and the work environment is the most important factor in the inefficiency of the university environment. Cooperation with libraries, museums, construction workshops, and urban spaces and equipping spaces for simultaneous use of city's universities, holding exhibitions, and group judging between different universities can be influential by applying constructivist theory to increase the efficiency of academic environments. Fārābī, the renowned Iranian philosopher, is one of the central figures of Peripatetic philosophy in the world of Islam. The collection of his thoughts travelled beyond Islamic borders to Asian, Europe and Africa posthumously and influenced the scientific fields of Jewish, Christian, and other non-Islamic lands. The thoughts of Fārābī and two other prominent figures of this school of philosophy, Ibn Sīnā and Ibn Rushd, exercised an undeniable impact on the development of the higher scientific centers of Europe of the 13-15 centuries (AD). In fact, without considering their role in the formation of the first European universities, especially the university of Paris and the process of establishing the faculty of philosophy during the conflict between the two faculties of theology and art, one cannot attain a true knowledge of the reasons behind the development and expansion of the first European universities. Relying on valid historical documents and reports, this paper explains this influential process and, at the same time, portrays one of the routes of the transfer of Muslims’ culture and philosophical thoughts to Europe and the quality of the formation of the institution of university during that time.
