Faith and the quality of its relationship with the problem of rationality has always been one of the central problems attracting the attention of philosophers and researchers working in the field of the philosophy of religion. This has resulted in the development of some of the most important schools of philosophy and theology in the West and in the Islamic world. In this study, the researchers have tried to explain the place and role of the intellect in the system of religious beliefs based on the ideas of ‘Allamah Tabataba’i through a correct analysis and perception of the truth of faith and description of its major components and elements. ‘Allamah Tabataba’i believed that knowledge plays a fundamental role in the realm of faith and considered it to be the prerequisite for faith. Therefore, in order to explain the relationship between the intellect and faith, he argued that the intellect precedes faith. Moreover, owing to faith’s epistemological nature, he considered it to be one of the important achievements of the intellect. At the same time, by avoiding any extreme measure in this regard, he granted a supreme station to the intellect in the domain of faith and religious believes. He even introduced the truth of definite rational judgments as the basis for the truth of the religion. On the other hand, given the influence of faith over the human intellect and free will, ‘Allamah maintained that the believers can develop a deeper and more extensive perception of religious truths in the light of a faith-oriented life. Of course, he was never heedless of the perceptive limitations of the intellect in certain epistemological fields of religion and referred to them in some of his works, particularly in al-Mizan. Zaydiyya is the name of a sect that split from the Shiites and was formed after the uprising of Zayd ibn Ali in Kufa (122 AH). This sect has experienced evolution in its life. The developments that took place with the formation of the Zaidi government in Tabarestan and Deylam. But this rule did not last for some reason and the Zaydi religion also disappeared with more distance and time and gave way to the Imams. The question is, what were the causes and factors of this change? The subject of this work is the study of the causes of this change of religion by referring to the original Zaydi texts and describing and analyzing them to explain the causes. It seems that besides various reasons, the most important reason for this is the heterogeneity of the intellectual and belief system, including: Imamate (Mahdism, the quality of choosing an Imam, the permission of the Imamate of several Imams at the same time) and other beliefs that arise from this, such as Bringing to Etzal and Hanafi jurisprudence, as well as important issues such as disbelief and practice of taqiyyah, moral corruption and their behavior, and leaving the Islamic world, provided the ground for the extinction of Zaydiyya in Tabarestan. The present study aimed to compare irrational beliefs, self-concept, and spiritual well-being in divorced and normal women. This research was causal-comparative. The statistical population was all divorced women covered by the welfare organization and ordinary women of Shiraz city. The sample group consisted of 120 people in two groups (60 divorced women and 60 normal women). The available sampling method was used to determine the sample size in the group of divorced women. The purposeful method was used for normal women to compare the group of normal women with divorced women. Jones' irrational beliefs questionnaire, Rogers' self-concept questionnaire, Polotzin's and Ellison's spiritual well-being questionnaire, were analyzed. The collected data were evaluated at two levels (descriptive statistics and inferential statistics). At the level of statistics, mean and standard deviation were used, and at the level of inferential statistics, multivariate analysis of variance has used. The result showed that there is a significant difference between irrational beliefs, self-concept, and spiritual well-being in divorced and normal women. Irrational beliefs in women with a history of divorce are higher than in normal women, and the mean of self-concept variables and spiritual well-being in women with a history of divorce is lower than in normal women. The average of irrational beliefs and their dimensions (including helplessness against change, the expectation of approval from others, problem avoidance, and emotional irresponsibility) are higher in women with a history of divorce than in normal women. There is a significant difference between self-concept in women with a history of divorce and normal women. The average spiritual well-being and its dimensions (existential health and religious health) are lower in women with a history of divorce than in normal women. Based on the results, on the need to pay attention to the irrational beliefs of self-concept and spiritual well-being, it is suggested that these structures be implemented in pre-marriage training classes to prevent the occurrence of problems and increase people's awareness of the role of these variables in joint life. This study aimed to investigate the factor structure and psychometric properties of the Persian version of the lay beliefs about competition scale (Kesebir et al., 2019) in a group of Iranian high school students. For this purpose, 464 students of Evaz city, located in the south of Fars province, who were studying in the academic year of 2022-2023; they were selected Convenience sampling method. They responded to the lay beliefs about competition scale (Kesebir et al., 2019) and achievement goals questionnaire (Elliott et al., 2011). The content, construct, convergent and divergent validity of the mentioned scale were investigated using the opinion of educational psychology experts, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation coefficients of component scores with related variables and correlation between scale components. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to investigate the reliability of the scale. Experts confirmed the representativeness of the scale items to measure the positive and negative lay beliefs about competition in the two-factor model presented by Kesebir et al. (2019). Exploratory factor analysis showed that there is a two-factor structure of lay beliefs about competition including positive and negative beliefs about competition among Iranian students. The lay beliefs about competition model test includes positive beliefs and negative beliefs confirming the two-factor structure of this scale in line with the main research. Also, the logical connection of the components of positive and negative lay beliefs about competition with the components of achievement goals indicates the convergent validity of this scale. The average correlation of two positive and negative components of the lay beliefs about competition confirms the divergent validity of this scale. In addition, Cronbach's alpha coefficients confirm the reliability of the scale. In total, the findings of the research show that the Persian version of the mentioned scale has suitable psychometric indicators for measuring positive and negative lay beliefs about competition in the group of Iranian high school students; and it has the necessary efficiency to measure the mentioned beliefs. News reporters are a special group in the jurisprudence and hadith of Shia Islam, whose way of thinking has cast a shadow over the people and seminaries for years. The founder of this sect was Mohammad Amin Esterabadi, who, by residing in Medina and writing the book "Fawaed al-Madaniyah," spread his beliefs in Iraq and Iran. He considered deduction and ijtihad to be "innovation" and rejected them, believing that only the apparent meaning of hadith should be adhered to and that only the infallible Imams (AS) could interpret the Quran and hadith, which is beyond the capacity of ordinary people. He also disregarded reason and consensus. His opinions were similar to Sunni Ahl al-Hadith to some extent, although he differed from them in terms of belief. The thought of Esterabadi news reporting led to more attention being paid to hadith books, but it resulted in harmful effects such as regression, sectarianism, and superficiality, which hindered rational thinking. Of course, the thought of Esterabadi news reporting was limited and restricted by the efforts of scholars, but its effects can still be seen to some extent: the emergence of modern news reporting in today's world from Egypt to Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, etc., and cultural news reporting among elites and people are examples of this category. Among the topics discussed in the field of responsibility are the intellectual and thought foundations raised in this field. This theory has been proposed by Imamiyyah jurists that if responsibility and commitment are given to different people, how much adherence to beliefs is involved in fulfilling commitment and responsibility. delivered They believed that when several factors jointly cause injury or damage, the responsibility for compensation is divided equally among them, regardless of the degree of fault or influence of the parties. However, the degree of involvement of belief and ideological foundations in adherence to duty and responsibility is a matter that has many ambiguities and has created many questions in this field. In the current research, the issue of commitment and responsibility has been addressed from this point of view and it has resulted in important achievements. Manuscript profile
