The article studies reactions of three contemporary poetesses to masculine culture. First, we review the difference of attitudes between Iranian poets of classical and constitutional periods. Then, we check the point with the poetry of Parvin E’tesami, Simin Behbahani, and Forooq Farokhzad, as the representatives of three different attitudes of objection reflected in their poems. Parvin represents the poets of ‘protesting’ attitude, who never go beyond the rigid limits of the tradition though. Simin is the representative of the poets distancing themselves from the tradition and have ‘reformist’ sympathies. Finally, Forooq represents the poets for who ‘protesting’ and ‘reform’ is not an end. Rather, they take a “rebellious” attitude toward the traditions. Manuscript profile

From Lyotard's point of view, "modernity is continuously the result of postmodernity" or in other words: "Postmodernity is a rewriting of modernity." An unprejudiced return to the starting point, an understanding of modernity including its crises. Rewriting modernity means recalling the errors, mistakes and tragedies that the modern age has caused, and finally, revealing the fate that a fortune-teller predicted at the beginning of the modern age and has now came true in history. Anti-rationalism and unbelief are important crises of modernity in ethics and Art. From his point of view, the source of these inadequacies is in the definition of general reason and the use of scientific reason to shape life. This research has been done with the aim of investigating ethics and Art in Postmodernism from Lyotard's point of view, and we are trying to answer the question that what is the place of ethics and Art in Lyotard's perspective in postmodernism?.
