Abstract Southwest Asia has witnessed widespread developments in recent years across the countries. These developments take place in a range of political, security, geopolitical, and social events. One of the most important events in this region is the dust phenomenon that has affected the lives of people in countries like Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait over the last few years. One of the characteristics of this natural phenomenon is its transboundary nature, and this feature has given it a geopolitical nature. Therefore, any action in this regard will depend on multilateral cooperation among the countries involved. Also, the reliance of some countries (the upper hand in its sources of water and its sources) has added to theories of commonly used forms related to how resources are accessed (water) and its management has added to the ambiguity of the case. But the other problem is that the countries involved in this issue are politically affected by ideological, religious, political and social conflicts, which have somewhat tense relations. Therefore, the present article seeks to investigate the fact that the natural phenomenon is round What will be the consequences of dust as a geopolitical issue for relations between the countries of the region. This article is descriptive-analytical and the tool for collecting information is a type of library study. The results of the surveys indicate that despite the domestic problems and issues concerning relations between the countries of the region, the pressure of public opinion and endangering the quality of life among affected peoples have led them to two or multilateral cooperation At least in this particular issue. Abstract Problem Scheme: Urbanization and increase of population, and consequently development of small and large towns are among today's trends. The sustainable development of the mentioned items is bound to having an efficient urban management and planning. Urban management focuses highly on the issues of metropolises, large cities and sometimes mid-sized ones, and it gives much less attention to the managerial issues in rural urban areas. However, if rural urban areas can be economically independent, they can play a significant role in flourishing and booming their surrounding environment through holding a major share of production, investment and human resources. Objective: Thus, the present study aimed to investigate the challenges and strategies of rural urban areas which have recently turned into towns. Method: This is a descriptive-analytical research which collected its data through the documentation and field techniques. The population included households residing in East and west Bandpey district of Babol town, among which two hundred households were randomly selected as sample using the Cochran's method. Results: Finally, after information collection and analysis, it was concluded that such rural urban areas are facing fundamental issues and obstacles such as waste disposal and separation, poor performance of urban bodies, low engagement of citizens in urban projects, etc. which can be resolved through adopting strategies such as reinforcement of urban organizations, development and expansion of services and urban facilities, utilization of local potentials, etc. Innovation: Considering that village-cities as a city-village link play an important role in regional equilibrium, the study of the challenges and challenges of the future and the determination of the spatial development strategies of these settlements is an innovation of this research Manuscript profile

Shi'ism is one of the main religions of Islam, less events can be studied in Southwest Asia, which is not related to Shiites. Shiites are the agents and agents of events, and sometimes the subject of political-social events . In spite of religious and cultural similarities and common interests, the sects in the present age suffer from components that, as a problem, intensify the process of non-convergence in Shi'a societies and prevent cohesion. Considering the importance of the subject, the author in this paper uses the analytical method, the use of library studies and field studies Assuming: "The political, security, and cultural-social components of the region can affect the Shi'a's lack of convergence," the paper seeks to analyze the factors affecting the Shi'a's lack of convergence in the South West Asia region. Field research findings indicate that the adoption of Shi'a-based policy by regional powers, Salafism and sectarianism, regional power actions and policies, economic and social inequalities, geographical dispersion, territorial disputes, religious and ideological conflicts, And the support of the extreme Shiite movement from divisive actions is one of the most important factors in Shi'a disintegration in the Southwest Asia region. In this research, for synoptic analysis of extreme and widespread precipitations in Caspian western coasts, we interpolated and traced the daily isohyet maps from 1340.1.1 to 1383.11.10 (15992 days) on the 14*14 km pixels by Kriging method and by use of daily precipitation data base of this region. These data provided the data of 48 studied local points for 15992 days to calculate maximum precipitation and area percent under precipitation for every precipitation day. On this basis, we identified the most extreme and the most widespread of region precipitations on the basis of 99th centile base index for studying and analyzing. By applying environment- circulation approach and agglomerative hierarchical cluster analysis by “Ward” method on the maps of sea level pressure, we could identify three circulation patterns which were effective and important for creating the extreme and widespread precipitations of Caspian western coasts. In continuation, for analyzing the precipitations in every pattern, the representative day defined on the basis of correlation coefficient with 95% threshold and in these days, sea level pressure maps, atmosphere thickness in 500-1000 hpa levels, functions of frontogenesis and humidity convergence flux traced and analyzed for 500, 600, 700, 850, 925 and 1000 hpa levels. The results of this research indicate the presence of high pressure system in the occurring time of patterns of sea level pressure on the Black sea. The average of received water volume of region is 906.9 million m3 in every three patterns which is a considerable number. The study of atmosphere thickness patterns indicate the relatively deep trough on the Caspian Sea. The analysis of frontogenesis function maps in the Caspian western coasts confirm the existence of front core on the Caspian Sea and around it too. The analysis of humidity convergence flux indicate that Caspian sea is the most important source of providing the humidity of western coasts precipitations of this sea, and Black sea is in the next importance ranking. The lands in cities are areas for urban development and infill development is the process of optimization of land use. Planning and growth management by infill development policy, compare with other growth policies is closer and more consistent to sustainability. In this paper, we are going to study capacities and necessities of infill development of Tehran, by means of descriptive analytic and by use of documentary data. Findings indicate Tehran has the capacity of development and subsequently ready to growth management and special rearrangement via infill development. More than 18000 hectares of lands with infill development capacities that occupied 30% of city areas and 52% of vacant spaces and areas with developmental goals and high availability along with distribution and increment process, from east to west and north to south, makes possible not only physical growth management, but also facilitate spatial rearrangement to balance of inequality among regions and city zones by means of the policy of infill development and topical and local capacities. Redevelopment of north ,east and south areas, new development of west area and revitalization of central area, are general strategies of infill development in Tehran. Manuscript profile

To determine microfacies and depositional subenvironments of the Maastrichtian deposits in the western part of the Kopet-Dagh Basin, one stratigraphic section, has been selected and analysed. In this section which is located 9.5 kms N-NW of Jorbat, Maastrichtian deposits are composed of two formations including Kalat (282 m thickness) and Chakhmaghlo (77 m thickness). The Kalat Formation consists of bioclastic and sandy limestone and the Chakhmaghlo Formation is composed of shale, marl, limestone and argillaceous limestone. Based on field observations and also petrographic studies, the lower boundary of the Kalat Formation with the Abderaz Formation is disconformable. The lower boundary of the Chakhmaghlo Formation with the Kalat Formation is gradual and conformable, while its upper contact with the Paleocene Pesteligh Formation is disconformable. Petrographic studies in Maastrichtian deposits led to recognition of 16 microfacies. These microfacies deposited in 5 facies belts including tidal flat, lagoon, shoal, reef and fore reef subenvironments in a carbonate platform. Manuscript profile

In this study the morphotectonic indices for a specified length of the Sefidrud River, which is located in the meizoseismal area of the 1990 Rudbar earthquake, have been investigated to constrain the activity of a gap between the Rudbar Fault segments. The Digital Elevation Model (DEM) with 30 m resolution was used to obtain the elevation data. Fifteen km of the Sefidrud River also was divided into 100 -meter segments to calculate the morphotectonic indices. The morphotectonic indices include the sinuosity (SI), stream-length gradient (SL) and river long profile. The sinuosity in this region, where the trend of the Rudbar fault cut across the river, is approximately 1-1.5 and has a lower value relative to the other segments of the river. This indicates that the uplift possibly affected this region and then indicates the high tectonic activity. The stream-length gradient in the target region is approximately >3000 and has a higher value in the region which may be related to the lithological and active tectonic effects. The high value of SL can be used for determining the regions with high potential for the landslides along the strike of the Sefidrud River. The Sefidrud long profile, in aforementioned area, has a bulge or convexity. Such convexity together with the high value of stream-length gradient can indicate that the tectonic activities are significant in this region. By comparing the morphotectonic analysis with the seismotectonic studies such as the Coulomb stress changes due to the 1990 Rudbar earthquake, in which the high stress zones were detected in this region, it can be cluded that the studied region has high tectonic activities and consequently its monitoring to prevent the seismic hazard is essential. The plutonic bodies occurring in Sursat complex are some parts of plutonic rocks of Sanandaj- Sirjan Zone. Based on the field observations and microscopic studies, rocks of the study area are consist of hornblende gabbro, quartz diorite, monzodiorite, granodiorite and tonalite. The EPMA analyses of minerals such as amphiboles (in granodiorite and monzodiorite), plagioclases and alkali feldspars indicate that amphiboles are magnesiohornblende, plagioclases are albite and oligoclase and alkali feldspares are orthoclase. Geochemical studies indicate that monzodiorite unit (Turke Dare and Khangholi bodies) are metaluminous I-type and calc-alkaline in nature. They are plotted in volcanic arc granite (VAG) region with 87Sr/86Sr and εNd values equal to 0.70448 and -0.12. All evidence represent that the monzodiorite were generated from a magma which was derived from mantle affected by assimilation and contamination processes. Granodiorite unit (Pichaghci, Hamzeh Ghasem and Northeast Khangholi bodies) represents I-type, metaluminous to peraluminous and calc-alkaline characteristics and is plotted in VGA field of magmatic arc. The 87Sr/86Sr and εNd values are equal to 0.70529 and -2.82 respectively. So these granodiorites were generated through mixing processes of a mantle magma with crustal sources. Tonalite–trondhjemites group are I-type, tholeiitic, peraluminous according to the low value of Mg# (2.9-11.6), Cr (20-46 ppm) and Ni (1-2.4 ppm) contents. They are also low in LA/Yb, Sr/Y, and Nb/Ta. The slight negative anomaly in fractionated patterns of the rare earth elements (REE) and very low depletion in Eu, indicate that these rocks were resulted from amphibolitic crustal source that were previousely generated from thickened mafic crust or from basaltic plate in low pressures at shallow depth in the presence of abundant plagioclase. The effect of colonialism on the Third World is always under consideration in works of worldwide authors and poets. Post-Colonial Literature attempts to fight against colonialism by offering a true picture and clarifying the truth behind the matter. One of the most certain purposes of Post-Colonialism theory is to understand the method of Colonialism approach in forming identities of colonialist and colonized to fight against this ideology. Iran and Sudan are among the countries that were under predominance of colonialism in some past periods. “Simin Daneshvar” and “Tayeb Salih” are among the contemporary Iranian and Sudanese authors who use Post-Colonialism novel framework to unmask and uncover historical truths about fighting against colonialists. Current study reviews and examines mentioned novels in their own time with Post-Colonialism point of view; it also examines consequences of Colonialism in Iran and Arab World using Analytic-Descriptive method. Women, as composing half of society population, have significant roles in contemporary period’s social and cultural changes and their effective presence in society is manifested in many stories. Using Descriptive-phenomenological approach, this article attempts to analyze four groups of women, i.e. traditional women, Iranian culture-advocate women, westernized women, and wandering women in five contemporary novels. Traditional women are usually those homemakers or housekeepers paying attention just to domestic matters. Iranian culture-advocate women are those involved in social and political activities outside home and consider supporting and defensing Iranian culture ideals and doctrines as their own duties. Another group, i.e. westernized women, make claims about internal matters of country, support western culture, seek basic and fundamental reformations and protest against the current situation. Wandering women are not interested in western culture and do not follow and support Iranian domestic culture, but they are wandering in-between these two cultures. Manuscript profile

The subject of this paper relates to comparative literature and the impact the literary figures, thinkers and illustrators have taken from Persian literary works; especially Rumi’s most significant and prominent works. The method of research in this essay is referential and inductive. We have made an attempt to become familiar with the great American and English men of letters; ones who have compiled important works through either translation or adaptation and made a serious effort to introduce the Persian literature, especially Rumi’s poetry in the English speaking countries. Since the eighteenth century, and following movements such as studying Iran, Islam, and the East, Persian literature was noticed and therefore some of the literary men, scientists, and illustrators begun translating and adapting the Persian literary works. It was in the same century that the study of Rumi’s works became significant. The English and American Transcendentalists both idealized the school of Transcendentalism through studying and having researches on Rumi’s works. It was about late nineteenth century, in 1870, that Mankar Daniel Canoy published The Sacred Anthology of Oriental Texts. Some of Rumi’s stories stated the ideals of social moral and behavioral issues. William R. Alger, one of Emerson’s friends, published The First American Anthology of Oriental Literature. Edward J. Brown translated the prose introduction of The First Volume of Massnavi into English. The climax of studies on Rumi’s works was done by Reynold Elaine Nicholson; who published eight books for the interpretation and paraphrase of Massnavi and actually devoted fifteen years of his life to this issue. Arthur J. Arbery is counted as one of the great thinkers in the field of Rumi studies. James J.Koan, an art teacher, rewrote fifty of the selected poems from Nicholson’s Poetry- taken from Shams Tabrizi’s Book of Poetry- in a modern poetic structure. And finally Andrew Harroy created some works as memorials of Rumi’s works. Manuscript profile

This article aims at analyzing nostalgic themes in Jalal Al-Ahmad’s stories. These themes, at first glance, mostly explain the author’s special ideology regarding the society and culture. However, in its deep structure, it reflects the intellectual author’s disappointment who is not feeling contempt about his surrounding environment, and therefore there is a kind of deep sorrow in his stories which help us to know the author better in many ways.In this paper, the major focus is on the function of the themes conveying feelings like “homesickness”, “destruction of the homeland”, “loneliness” and “sorrow” which represent author’s nostalgic point of view regarding humans and society. It should be mentioned that these themes from a theoretical point of view can be considered concepts or conceptual motifs in literary works, so can be discussed as part of the content of the work. Therefore, in the theoretical part, these concepts are explained briefly in literary studies and in the applied part, based on the definitions introduced in theoretical part, the motifs in Al-Ahmad’s works are analyzed. In order to study biostratigraphy of the Tirgan Formation in western Kopet Dagh, two surface sections including Navia – Robat Eshgh and Ghezelghan, were selected and 230 samples were collected. The Tirgan Formation was measured with a total thickness of 237 and 192 meters in Navia and Ghezelghan sections respectively and was represented by thick and sometimes medium bedded, grey and weathered cream colored limestones in two localities. In Navia section, the Tirgan Formation conformably overlies the Zard – Shurijeh Formation with sharp lithological changes. However, as a result of being located in the core of an anticline, this boundary is not determined in Ghezelghan section. The Tirgan Formation disconformably underlies the Abderaz Formation in Navia section while conformably underlies the Sarcheshme Formation at Ghezelghan section. As a result of biostratigraphical investigations, 58 species belonging to 68 genera of foraminifera were identified in the Tirgan Formation. Based on benthic foraminifera two biozones were determined as follows: 1. Palorbitolina lenticularis Taxon Range Zone 2. Novalesia producta – Orbitolina spp. assemblage zone According to the determined biozones and fossils associations, the age of the Tirgan Formation is Barremian – Early Aptian in both sections. The comparison of the Tirgan Formation, in two-mentioned sections, shows some differences. In terms of biostratigraphy, there is not any significant distinctions, except for thickness difference in biozones. Manuscript profile

In the western psychological forgiveness model in Enright model (1991) forgiveness includes Uncovering, Decision, Work and Deepening. In the same vein, content analysis and computerized stylistics method and scrutinizing religious scripture were applied in order to compare Islamic and Western forgiveness model. Scrutinized results indicated that the Quran’s verses in regards to the continuum of forgiveness revealed that four stages of forgiveness (Afve) overlooking (Safh), covering up faults (ghofran) and empathy (Rahma) appeared in an arranged way in order to focus on the deeper process of forgiveness. In Islam, there has been a strong emphasis on mercy and forgiveness of God, and such representations stress God’s merciful nature as well as a reflection of the richness of Islamic culture. From the past up to now, multiple definitions have been proposed by many of philosophers and scholars, many of which are different from each other, due to their different perspective. In this paper, first, we study three main words in this respect etymologically, namely, "Akhlagh" (in Persian), "Ethics" and "Moral" (in English). In this etymology, it is made clear that those three words have one same meaning. Then, we shall make a comparison between contemporary western philosophers' definition of morality and those of muslem scholars. This comparison shows that the definition of morality in contemporary western ethics is, indeed, a definition of morality as behavior, while in Islamic ethics, one it is as inward temperaments. At the end, we raise three arguments which show that muslem scholars' definition in comparision with contemporary westerns' one is more precise and more workable. Manuscript profile

Religion, by commanding to avoid moral evils, has a very important contribution to the ethics of human societies. Therefore, the theory of the relationship between religion and ethics, which emphasizes that religion supports ethics, helps to expand moral virtues. In this article, the concept of morality and religion is discussed and also the views of various Islamic and Western thinkers and philosophers on the relationship or non-relevance of religion and ethics are reviewed. The research method is based on qualitative and documentary studies. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between religion and ethics and to emphasize the importance of religiousness of man and human societies in the pursuit of morality and the spread of moral virtues as well as the effect of religiousness and the positive effects of religiosity on the consolidation of moral values. The findings show that religion is more general and has different components and realizes ethical value through its multiple dimensions. Morality, on the other hand, like a strong phenomenon provides the development basis for social values and sustainable prosperity, and nobody can deny the role of religion in advocating morality. Conclusion: In order to gain specific examples of moral commands, we need religion. And this is inspiration that can elucidate moral commands in a particular sense with certain limits, conditions and devices. Manuscript profile

The question is what the contexts and background of the formation of modern human sciences in the West are, and what epistemological, religious, psychological, and spiritual harms they might lead to. Following a descriptive-analytic design and through a historical review of the problem of knowledge in the West, the present study intends to revisit the epistemological factors influencing the formation of the human sciences of the modern period and their disadvantages. Restricting science to scientism; human being to humanism; the world of being to natural phenomena; acquisition of knowledge to sense perception, empiricism, causality, and pure rationalism, as well as focusing on an epistemological distinction between phenomena and things in-themselves, and ignoring inner sense and fitri (intrinsic) knowledge, intuitive intellect and revelation are among the significant factors which play roles in the formation of modern western human sciences. Moreover, they underlie the creation of epistemological, religious, and psychological crises; spiritual poverty; nihilism, and the like in the world today. Manuscript profile

During the last century, we have witnessed the second movement of the translation of Western philosophical works in Iran. This bibliography provides a list of the works of 40 famous philosophers of the West from before Christ until the 19th century which have been translated into Persian. The translators who have rendered classic works of philosophy into Persian have sometimes focused on a specific philosopher and have specialized in the translation of his works. For example, Manouchehr Bozorgmehr has mainly been interested in George Berkeley, Mohammad Hassan Lotfi in Plato and Plotinus, Daryush Ashuri in Friedrich Nietzsche, Ziba Jebelli in Marx, and Manuchehr Sanei in Kant. The works of some philosophers have also been translated several times; for example, the book of Thus spoke Zarathustra: A Book for all and None holds the record with 14 different translations. In certain cases, none of the books of some famous Western philosophers, such as Nicolas Malebranche, Dans Scotus, Bonaventure, and William of Ockham, has been translated into Persian. In this bibliography, the authors have introduced the works of the following philosophers: Thomas Aquinas, Augustino of Hippo, Anselm of Canterbury, Epictetus, Epicure, Aristotle, Herbert Spencer, Baruch Spinoza, Plato, Plotinus, Friedrich Engles, Marcus Aurelius, George Berkeley, Francis Bacon, Blaise Pascal, Pre-Socratic Philosophers, Descartes, Jean Jacque Rousseau, Lucius Annaeus Seneca, Friedrich Schleiermacher, Friedrich Wilhelm Joseph Schelling, Arthur Schopenhauer, Friedrich von Schiller, Ludwig Feuerbach, Johan Gottlieb Fichte, Kant, Auguste Comte, Soren Kierkegaard, John Locke, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, Lucretius, Marx Niccolo Machiavelli, Montesquieu, George Edward Moore, John Stuart Mill, Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche, Thomas Hobbes, George Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, and David Hume. The present paper provides a list of the works of western philosophers (from the beginning of the 20th century until now) which have been translated into Persian and published in Iran. Because of the expansion of the branches of philosophy in the 20th century and the later years and the large number of the prominent philosophers in various fields of philosophy, this list only contains the names of 40 of the most influential philosophers of this period in Iran. The translators who have rendered the works of these philosophers into Persian have sometimes focused on a specific philosopher and specialized in the translation of his works. For example, Manuchehr Sanei Darrehbidi has mainly focused on Wilhelm Dilthey, Yadollah Moaghan on Ernst Cassirer, Malek Hosseini on Wittgenstein, and Mohammad Hassan Lotfi on Jaspers. The works of some philosophers have been translated several times, for instance, Nietzsche and Philosophy by Gilles Deleuze; Political Ideas, Why I Am Not A Christian, Power: A New Social Analysis, and Marriage and Morals by Bertrand Russell; Existentialism is a Humanism and The Words by Jean-Paul Sartre; The Myth of Sisyphus and Notebooks (3 volumes) by Albert Camus; The Structure of Scientific Revolutions by Thomas S. Kuhn; Logical-Philosophical Treatise by Wittgenstein, and Being and Time by Martin Heidegger have been translated at least four times. Among them Russell’s Power: A New Social Analysis ranks first with six retranslations. This bibliography introduces the works of the following 40 philosophers: Theodor W. Adorno, Hannah Arendt, Alfred Jules Ayer, Henry Bergson, Karl Raimund Popper, William James, Jacques Derrida, Gilles Deleuze, Simone de Beauvoir, Wilhelm Dilthey, John Dewey, Bertrand Russell, John Bordley Rawls, Richard McKay Rorty, Jean Paul Gustave Ricœur, Jean Paul Sartre, John Rogers Searle, Paul Karl Feyerabend, Friedrich Ludwig GottlobFrege, Paul-Michel Foucault, Rudolf Carnap, Ernst Alfred Cassirer, Albert Camus, Saul Aaron Kripke, Willard Van Orman Quine, Thomas Kuhn, Hans-Georg Gadamer, Emmanuel Levinas, Jean-François Lyotard, Gabriel Honoré Marcel, Herbert Marcuse, Maurice Jean Jacques Merleau-Ponty, George Edward Moore, Alfred North Whitehead, Ludwig Josef Johann Wittgenstein, Jürgen Habermas, Martin Heidegger, Edmund Husserl, Friedrich August von Hayek, and Karl Theodor Jaspers. Determining the position of the production zone is one of the best ways to reduce drilling costs as well as quick access to the reservoir and optimal production of hydrocarbon resources. The purpose of this study, is to estimate the porosity, water saturation and thickness of an oil field in Iran’s southwestern Basin , and ultimately to reach the production zone. Therefore, according to the data obtained from 76 wells of this field, variation of reservoir petrophysical parameters were modeled with variogram operation and using Geostatistical methods. By using ordinary Kriging method, the values of the parameters were estimated in the whole field. Subsequently, by using the indicator kriging method, the field boundaries were separated in order to obtain the exact area of the oil zone and the volume of oil in place and finally by considering the 80% probability level, The definite boundary of the presence of the production zone was determined in the block model and In this zone the volume of reservoir’s hydrocarbon was estimated about 147/5 million cubic foot. By stating the fundamental differences between terrestrial and detrital facies, this paper emphasizes on the limitations of provenance studies in terrestrial facies. Considering the presence of coarse-, medium- and fine-grained facies in most of terrestrial sedimentary sequences, the differences in textural and mineralogical characteristics, their study methods and possible differences in the provenance of these facies, the basic and necessary steps in studying these facies for determining the sedimentary provenance was investigated. In explaining these steps, some examples from terrestrial formations of Central Iran (Upper Red Formation) and north west of Iran (Zivar Formation) are presented. The role of diagenesis, structural deformation and paleogeography in the provenance study and their importance in this type of studies are explained. Finally, it is discussed how to proof the accuracy of the interpretations for the studied sedimentary sequences. Manuscript profile

Since the common denominator among EU members is increasing dependence on imported oil and gas, security of energy supply is a major concern for the European Union. When assured about security and effectiveness of energy market, those countries will be able to continue increasing consumption of energy. However, the rising energy price, especially with regard to natural gas, has led to questions about future situation of energy supply security for the EU members. Therefore, this paper first focuses on the rising demand for gas and the risks of overdependence of the EU members on gas supply from Russian Gazprom Company, which may lead to repetition of Ukraine experience and the international gas crisis in 2006 and 2009. It then analyzes geopolitical and international aspects of future energy supply security for the EU and strategic plans developed by its members to handle these challenges. In conclusion, the paper introduces Iran as a good alternative source for ensuring energy security of the EU due to its geoeconomic conditions. Manuscript profile

Since 1979 up to the present time, the experience has proven that when Iran has had positive interaction with international organizations, it has been in a better position to guarantee its security and national interests, and cooperation with international organizations in different fields has provided Iran's political, economic and cultural diplomacy with opportunities. On the other hand, a confrontational approach to international organizations has created various challenges and problems in various fields for the country and has damaged the international prestige of the Iranian government. The geopolitical region of South East Asia has been influenced by some geopolitical factors including the efforts of Arabian states to form an Arabian military coalescence in the years ending to 2020. These agents have given rise to a plenty of changes increasing tensions and conflicts in the region. The military coalescence outlined under the influence of geopolitical backgrounds in Persian Gulf, posed the questions that how such a coalition can be realized in the near future. This present research, based on neo-realism approach, has addressed the geopolitical factors effective in shaping the coalescence. We have used cross effect analysis techniques and experts opinions to examine the feasibility of forming the military coalescence. The results of this study have indicated that some more powerful interrupting factors can weaken the possibility. To reduce tensions in the region, therefore, the neighboring states have to develop new military and security collaborations to eradicate the war in the region. Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study was to study anthropology from the perspective of the Qur'an and Western humanism. The present research method is descriptive-analytical and its contents have been collected by the library method. The humanist philosophy that I think of in the sixteenth century with the Cartesian principle is that I came to a particular way of thinking and considered man as the only basis for cognition in his path: Rather, he denied the human soul, which was the axis of cognition. After Hume Kant, he tried to revive the "I" with his Copernican revolution, but the annoying Doraxim of "Nomen" and "Phenomenon" and the lack of access to the truths of things forced his descendants to establish unity between "Nomen" and "Phenomenon". While loyal to Kant's subjectivism, they proposed solutions. Anthropology is the science of man and the state of the soul in terms of general and specific matters, individual and social, theoretical and practical sciences. Accordingly, anthropology encompasses a very wide range of sciences and schools of thought. Therefore, the roots of anthropology should be sought in the humanities, arts, experimental sciences, and social sciences schools. With the advent of Islam and the teachings of revelation, the Qur'an, as the most important source, opened new horizons for human cognition. The Qur'an, by directing the sciences and knowledge involved in the education and guidance of man, believes that man, in addition to the body and the physical, also benefits from the soul and the clergy, and that the truth of man is the soul. In a way, the Qur'an emphasizes that man should know himself and recognize his place in the world, and the goal is for man to reach the high position he deserves. This article tries to compare anthropology from the perspective of the Qur'an and Western humanism and the challenges it faces. Manuscript profile

Natural law is the commands of intellect about free human behaviours to arrive at eternal happiness. After Medieval and Renaissance periods, Modern epoch lasted three centuries before the start of Postmodern period. The most important symbol of the period was the attention to the status of the human being and putting him/her in the centre of scientific and philosophical thoughts (humanism). In Modern period, the teaching of natural law was under two incompatible conceptions: empiricism and rationalism. This article is a critical study of rationalists' theories of natural law in Modern period, particularly Enlightenment epoch. The question, which this essay will response, is: what are the deficiencies of rationalists' theories of natural law in Modern period? To answer this question, the thoughts of three rationalists, who wrote more than others about natural law in Modern period, namely Montesquieu, Rousseau and Kant, will be analysed in three independent chapters. Montesquieu summarised natural law in four laws: desire to peace, to nourishment, to sexuality and to social inclination. The most important deficiency of Montesquieu's theory is that he interpreted the law of nature instead of natural law. Rousseau restricted natural law into the laws of material nature of humans. He disregarded the intellect of human beings and reduced human level to animal one. Kant did not succeed in identifying natural law cases and he only referred to some general characteristics of natural law. The research method in this article is a synthetic one, which is traditional – intellectual – critical. Manuscript profile

33 - From "Essentialism" to "Historical Hybridity”: "The Contribution of the East in a Civilizational Analysis From the Perspective of Comparative Sociology

In this paper, we attempt to demonstrate that the theoretical framework of "Historical Essentialism" (negation of the West and articulation of oneself as the Western other) used by some Iranian researchers as the basis for the conceptualization of the contrast between the geography of the East against the geography of the West, results in no more than the reproduction of the evil cycle of the duality of "Orientalism" and "Eurocentrism" in civilizational analysis. The fundamental question is how, in the era of Western modernity's domination, can we, as non-Westerners, articulate our own civilization based on our historical and geographical characteristics? The hypothesis of this research is that a non-western subject as a solution cannot assume the role of being "other" of the western modernity's civilizational order in the form of "Historical Essentialism". The essentialist strategy has no solution other than reproducing the same vocabulary of Western academic Orientalism as the historical essence of the East. On the contrary, a non-western subject can form their civilizational order based on the historical and geographical vocabulary of their societies by using a common global heritage that connects them with the western subject, in the form of a "Historical Hybridity". The findings of this article show that the late works of Samuel Eisenstadt about "comparative sociology based on civilizational analysis" is the most applicable theory to investigate this claim. This theory, while acknowledging a shared heritage as "conditions of possibility for civilizational order" in world history, emphasizes pluralistic "articulations of civilizational order" and the absence of a hegemonic civilizational order in world history that could claim "legitimacy. " This paper presents the conceptual framework of "Historical Hybridity " as a replacement for "Historical Essentialism that is presented in Shayegan's "Asia versus the West". The meaning of "Historical Hybridity" is not to express a "unidirectional evolutionary" relationship between Western and non-Western societies, that non-Western societies must necessarily follow the same path as Western societies in the articulation of their social formations; Rather, on the contrary, it seeks a "global history without a center" in which Western and non-Western people could on the basis of a common and hybrid heritage, speak independently based on the historical and geographical singularities of their societies and produce different formations of civilizational order at the level their societies' history. In other words, "Historical Hybridity" is a "unity in diversity. " The method of this article involves the history of ideas or the history of thought based on the comparative sociology approach and data collection method is referring to the original sources of civilizational order theorists. The historical investigation shows that the problematic of technology and civilization is one of the fundamental issues that were raised especially between the first and second world wars in Germany, and after that history, it has also found a wide resonance in Iran's intellectual space at different times. One of the most important formulations of this issue dates back to the 1950s, when in a wide cultural-political turn from the 1940s to the 1950s, the issue of technology and civilization was placed at the top of the intellectual issues of the government and the opposition. Contrary to the common perception, this issue did not remain at the theoretical level at that point and led to important strategic and executive decisions at the policy and governance levels. Among the most important of these cases is the installation of Seyyed Hossein Nasr, a traditionalist Islamic philosopher, as the vice president of Aryamhar Royal University of Technology (now Sharif) from 1351 to 1354, which has not yet been subjected to historical and analytical evaluation. This research deals with the main question of how to explain the appointment of a traditionalist philosopher as the head of the country's leading technological university at the height of the Pahlavi regime's modernization Manuscript profile

Sexual dysfunction is considered a common sexual problem affecting different aspects of life, that has several etiologies and psychiatric disorders play an important role in its formation. This paper aims to comparison of prevalence of sexual dysfunctions between married women with symptoms of cluster B personality disorder and healthy persons in Tehran. This is a causal – comparative research. To do so, 1000 married women from Tehran City were screened in first half of 2021, among them 145 persons were diagnosed with symptoms of cluster B personality disorder and 56 persons were selected through convenience sampling as individuals with disorder. Data of 20 healthy married women were analyzed for comparative purposes. Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory (MCMI3), Female Sexual Functions Index (FSFI) and International Index of Erectile Function (ILEF) were used. Data were analyzed by comparing two independent groups in SPSS, Version 26. In married women, the mean sexual function in healthy persons was more significant than borderlines, histrionics, and narcissists (P<0.05) But, this difference in antisocials was not significant (P>0.05). The results show that prevalence of sexual dysfunctions in cluster B personality disorder is more than healthy married women. Therefore, it is recommended that psychotherapy specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of sexual dysfunction, pay attention to the role of personality disorders and the issue of comorbidity. In this research, we aim to trace the various paths that ultimately led to the emergence of the modern nation-state and its implications in contemporary political structures worldwide. What we now recognize as the modern nation-state, which continues to exist in various forms of political systems, has its roots in ancient and gradual transformations in the West (Europe). These developments can be depicted as a paradigmatic narrative of the dialectic of needs and responses. This narrative begins with ancient Greece and its devotion to rationality and freedom, and continues along different paths, on the one hand, with modern evangelical traditions and the exploration of Roman legal structures, and on the other hand, by passing through historical, social, political, and economic contexts, the great Western powers (England, France, Germany, and the United States) have pursued different paths towards the emergence of the modern state. In retracing these various paths, we have utilized Kuhn's paradigmatic approach. Manuscript profile

37 - A Study of Western Thinkers’ Approach to Eastern Philosophy

The discussion of the meaning and existence of philosophy in the East is considered to be an introduction to any exchange of thought and agreement between the East and the West. Ritchie, the Christian missionary, wrote a book entitled Confucius: The Chinese Philosopher and introduced his thoughts to the West for the first time. Later and under his influence, Leibniz and Christian Wolf not only acknowledged the certain existence of philosophy in the East, particularly in China, but also believed that it could be used to remove the existing problems in Western philosophy and theology. However, Kant initiated a racist approach in this regard that dealt with other philosophies from a higher position and questioned the very essence of philosophy in the East altogether. This Europe-centered view entered a new era in the West with Hegel, whose view of eastern philosophy was humiliating and hierarchical. Unlike him, Deussen, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, Husserl, Wittgenstein, Heidegger, and many other Western thinkers benefitted from the vast philosophy of the East. Generally speaking, it can be said that denying or doubting the legitimacy of Eastern philosophy on the part of some Westerners lacks logical support and is mainly rooted in their nationalist feelings. The reaction of Eastern thinkers in this regard is also noteworthy. Some of them complain that Western philosophers do not appreciate Eastern philosophy as much as it truly deserves and do not use it in order to solve the crises that contemporary Man encounters. However, some others, in line with Westerners but with a different motive, refuse to apply the word philosophy to their ancient legacy in order to protect its originality and safeguard against its mixture with Western philosophy. The Ordovician marine sedimentary sequences of Iran are located in different structural blocks along the northern margin of Gondwana. In the north of the Kerman Basin, Ordovician sedimentary sequences named Katkoyeh Formation have been introduced, which consist of 70 to 300 meters of siliceous siliceous rocks, one or two thin carbonate horizons in the upper part, and pyroclastic deposits. Traditionally, the Cambrian-Ordovician boundary in the Kerman Basin has been determined between the Hatken Dolomite Member of the Kuhbanan Formation (Late Furongian) and the Lower Shale Member of the Katkuye Formation. However, determining the location of the previous Tremadocine boundary is uncertain because no fossils have been documented from this interval. For the purpose of biostratigraphy of the Katkuye formation in Kerman basin, Gezoye section with an approximate thickness of about 170 meters was selected. In this section, the Katkoyeh Formation is located on the Hatken Dolomite Member and under the Shabjareh Formation sandstones of Silurian age. In the Gezoiye section, due to the action of basalt dikes and intense tectonics in the region, the limestone layers containing fossils have been severely altered, and during three sampling stages, 320 conodonts were recovered from the carbonate horizon of the upper part of this formation, and 3 Genus and 7 species were identified and based on this, three conodont ranges were recorded: 1) Icriodella superba Range Zone (Katian - ? Hirnantian; Late Ordovician), 2) Amorphognathus ordovicicus Range Zone (Katian - Late Ordovician), 3) Amorphognathus superbus Range Zone (Katian - ? Hirnantian; Late Ordovician). Late Ordovician age in the Katkuye formation in the Gezoye section with at least three species of the conodont genus Icriodella (I. superba, I. deflecta, (I. cf. discrete and two species of A. superbus) Amorphognathus, A. ordovicicus) determined and led to the identification of the Katian-?Hirnantian rocks. <p>The religion of Islam has always attached special importance to women, and in particular, there are many orders from Imams (peace be upon them) regarding women in religious texts and traditions. One of the important social matters today is the position and role of women in the family and society. In Islamic traditions, however, girls and women are mentioned as divine virtues, even though in Islam, God rewards good deeds, and consecrations are questioned by God. By looking through Islamic foundations, one may understand what a high position women had and still have in Islamic thought; however, it is the opposite in the West and the "Woman, Life, Freedom" slogan. Accordingly, the greater the commitment to Islam and Islamic life, the higher the continuity of life. On the contrary, the lower the commitment to Islam, the lower the mental peace and comfort of the person in the living environment and society. Moreover, the collapse of the Western system is based on unlimited freedom. This paper applies a diverse methodology to refer to written documents, computer systems, scientific software, and a descriptive and analytical data processing method. Furthermore, by referring to religious sources, the paper aims to study the role of women in the Woman, Life, Freedom" slogan "in Islam and the West. The results are that referring to the Qur'an examines the traditions, position, and role of women in the family and the "Woman, Life, Freedom" slogan in Islam, bringing tranquility contrary to the West.</p> Manuscript profile

Screening tests are a special type of diagnostic tests that are performed in an apparently healthy population. The purpose of performing diagnostic tests is to correctly diagnose patients, distinguish affected animals from healthy animals, distinguish between cases and controls, and distinguish between normal and abnormal cases. Screening tests should be simple, cheap, rapid and valid. Diagnostic and screening tests are mainly used in the monitoring of diseases. Related terms to the evaluation of these tests, including sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive value, accuracy and precision, as well as concepts such as the golden standard, because they are often used interchangeably or misinterpreted, it is especially important to learn them. Also, due to the fact that gold standard tests are often more expensive and time-consuming, incomplete diagnostic tests are used, which can be calculated by calculating the sensitivity and specificity of the actual and apparent prevalence obtained by the diagnostic test. However, if the golden standard test is not available, other methods are used to evaluate the tests, including the Kappa index test. The interpretation results of these tests provide a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to clinicians and experts, which ultimately leads to more accurate, comprehensive, cheaper and faster monitoring. In this review article, with a complete and comprehensive review of the conventional concepts in the evaluation of diagnostic tests, along with the solution of practical examples, we will expand and provide a comprehensive presentation of these concepts. Also, the latest original studies that have been done in the field of evaluation of diagnostic tests will also be reviewed in this article. Manuscript profile
