        1 - The efficacy of trauma focused-cognitive behavioral therapy on mood and somatic symptoms of children with interpersonal trauma

        The aim of present study was to evaluate the efficacy of Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy on mood and somatic symptoms reduction of children with history of interpersonal trauma. This was a single subject experimental study with Multiple baseline design and the population consist of all primary school children (boys and girls) in 2019-2020 academic year in Saghez city. 4 (9-12 years old) students with interpersonal trauma history were recruited by convenient sampling method. Child and parent forms of life incidence of traumatic events questionnaire (LITE-C & LITE-P), child and parent reports of post traumatic symptoms (CROPS, PROPS) and Takata & Sakata psychosomatic complaints scale were administered to them at baseline (A), two first, two middle and two last sessions and after completion of treatment in follow up sessions. In B experimental phase each of these 4 student, receive 14 individual treatment sessions of TF-CBT on average. Spss-25 software was used. To analyze data with graphic analysis and improvement percentage as well as descriptive statistics, repeated measure variance analysis and dependent T test. Results indicated that clinical and statistical improvements were occurring in reduction of children’s mood and somatic symptoms and post-traumatic stress symptoms, which was, remain constantly in 3 weeks follow up. Hence, this treatment could reduce the mood and somatic symptoms of children with interpersonal trauma. Manuscript profile

        The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of group cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodrama on reducing cognitive symptoms of social anxiety. This research is a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design with a control group. In this study, 60 students who met the criteria of social anxiety were randomly divided into three groups of 20, including two experimental groups and a control group. All three groups were assessed with Social Anxiety Questionnaire of Connor (2000), Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale-Brief Form of Leary (1983), Focus of Attention Questionnaire of Woody & et al (1997) and Levels of Self-Criticism Scale of Thompson & Zuroff (2004). After 12 sessions of 2 hours of cognitive-behavioral group therapy and psychodrama intervention separately in the experimental groups and nonintervention in the control group, Cognitive variables were assessed again. Findings showed that cognitive-behavioral intervention and psychodrama both significantly reduced the fear of negative evaluation, self-focused attention and self- Criticism in experimental groups compared to the control group. This difference was not significant between the experimental groups.         Introduction: This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of TF-CBT on Improving Rumination in sexually abused children. Methods: This quasi-experimental research was a single-subject research design with multiple baselines with follow-up. The statistical population consisted of all children of 9-12 years old, who have been sexually abused that referred to the Center of Clinical Tests of Forensic Medicine in 2016. In this study, sampling was purposeful, and 2 children were selected. The participants in situations of baseline, even sessions of intervention and one, two years after intervention responded to the Children’s Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ-K). Sixteen treatment sessions were administrated for each subject. Data analysis by using visual analysis chart, percentage of recovery and PND was done. Results: The results showed that TF-CBT significantly improved rumination in clients at the end and in the process has been followed. Conclusion: It could be concluded that TF-CBT is effectively improving rumination in sexually abused children and vulnerable children need specialists. Manuscript profile
