Abstract :
The purpose of this study is the effect of cooperative teaching method on social skills of fifth grade students of Yasouj city. The research method was semi-experimental and the data collection tool was the questionnaire of their academic social skills. The statistical population of this research was all male students of the first grade of secondary school in Yasouj city in the academic year of 1402-1401, whose number was estimated to be 81, and the whole population Statistics were also selected as a research sample. Hypotheses were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods of one-way covariance analysis, and the results showed; The cooperative learning method does not affect the social skills of students in general; The results also showed that the cooperative learning method has a significant effect on the development of students' participation skills in group activities, but it does not have a significant effect on the students' ability to respect others, cooperation skills, and responsibility skills.
