Measuring and improving the quality of services in the higher education sector that is the basis of development of each country is very important. The purpose of this paper was ranking the universities of Iran in terms of perceived quality of services from students by using combination of SERVQUAL and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) methods. For this purpose at first by systematic search in different scientific databases attempted to finding the researches was conducted regarding measuring the universities quality of service delivery from the perspective of students by using SERVQUAL model that 33 relevant studies were found. Then scores of each university was calculated with the help of DEA method and considering each dimension of quality as an output and by considering each research as a decision making unit via DEAP 2.1 software. Highest scores were related to higher education centers in Tabriz, Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences, Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences and the University of Urmia while lowest scores were related to Islamic Azad University of Dezful and Faculty of Health and Nutrition, Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. The scores of 82 percentage of the conducted researches was between 0.498 to 0.781, in other words were at moderate level. The result of calculated scores showed that on average, there is the possibility of increasing 31.8% in the quality of services in Iran's universities and the main reason for this lack of quality is the responsiveness dimension that relevant authorities can improve the level of their quality of services by modeling of higher education centers in Tabriz. Recent advances in wireless electronic and communications provide us the ability to build small, economical sensors with low power consumption and many diverse applications. Limited energy capacity of sensors is a huge challenge that will affect these networks. Clustering has been used as a well-known method to handle this challenge. To find appropriate location of clusters' heads, imperialist competitive algorithm as an emerging topic in computational intelligence has been used. Clusters' heads are connected in a three-level model so that cluster heads with low energy capacity and far from station are considered as level three indirectly communicating with base station. This eventually increases lifetime of wireless sensor networks. Manuscript profile

In order to evaluate the performance and desirability of the activities of its units each organization needs an evaluation system to assess this desirability and it is more important for financial institutions, including information technology-based companies. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a non-parametric method to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of decision-making units (DMUs). On the other hand, data mining technique allows DMUs to explore and discover meaningful information, which had previously been hidden in large databases. . This paper presents a general framework for combining DEA and regression tree for evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of the DMUs. Resulting hybrid model is a set of rules that can be used by policy makers to discover reasons behind efficient and inefficient DMUs. Using the proposed method for examining factors related to productivity, a sample of 18 branches of Iran insurance in Tehran was elected as a case study. After modeling based on advanced model the input oriented LVM model with weak disposability in data envelopment analysis was calculated using undesirable output, and by use of decision tree technique deals with extracting and discovering the rules for the cause of increased productivity and reduced productivity. Indeed, protected areas, national parks and biosphere reserves in general, are the natural heritage of each country. Therefore, knowledge of their changes plays an essential role in management of these areas. Remote sensing is one of the most advanced and effective technology for monitoring environmental changes and resource management. The purpose of this research is to detect the land use /cover changes in Bojagh National Park in Guilan province during 2000-2017. For this purpose, the images of ETM+ sensor from the landsat 7 were taken in the year 2000 and the images of OLI sensor from the landsat 8 were taken in the year 2017. After applying the necessary preprocessing on the images, the training points were selected for each user class in sufficient number and with appropriate processing then, the land use / cover map was produced using the supervised classification method with maximum likelihood algorithm. Using the Overall accuracy test and Kappa coefficients, accuracy of the produced maps was determined. The results of the study indicated that the areas of the sea, grassland and the areas of the waterbody parts has decreased and the areas of the agricultural, marshland, man-made, woody and bare lands users show an increase during the study period. Identify land uses and land use changes to investigate and monitor sensitive areas is essential for sustainable land planning and management. The main objective of this study is to investigate the land use changes caused by the construction of Shafarood Dam in the Hyrcanian forests in the north of Iran during a 17-year period using Landsat satellite imagery. To do this, three satellite imagery of the years 2000, 2013 and 2017 were used, and the corrections (geometric and atmospheric) were applied on the images and the map of the land use for each section in the region was prepared using the classification method of the maximum likelihood that the produced map have Kappa coefficient more than 86% and usage accuracy of 0.83. After classification, the comparison method was used to monitor the land use changes. The results revealed that in every three years, the most land cover of Shafarood watershed belongs to the forest class and in the next rank belongs to the rangeland class. As a result, the continuous decline of the forest class accured from 63.05 percent to 57.27 and 57.22 percent in the first section for the years 2013 and 2017 respectively. The continuous increase of the rock class (8.15-9.10-10.45) and bare lands (3.5- 4.47-5.08%) confirms it in the study area. Environmental challenges of constructing the Shafaroud dam is another emphasis on the importance of conducting advanced and specialized studies based on ecological methodologies and also increasing the decision makers awareness of Hyrcanian forests complexity which has formed in a very long-time period. Changing the use of urban green cover over time can create various environmental hazards for the citizens of a city. Due to the importance of the subject, the present study intends to investigate the temporal and spatial changes of green cover in areas 1 and 6 of Shiraz metropolis using Landsat satellite images during five decades (1972 to 2019). For this purpose, after performing radiometric and atmospheric corrections, maps resulting from plant indices including NDVI, SAVI, OSAVI as well as the maximum likelihood algorithm were prepared in ENVI5 software and classified and evaluated in Spatial Information System (GIS). The results of this study showed that the area of the green cover in region 1 has decreased in terms of hectares in NDVI, SAVI, OSAVI indices respectively and also in the maximum likelihood algorithm has decreased from 1394 to 428, from 789 to 421, from 815 to 419, from 1402 to 439, respectively and in region 6 was decreased from 1374 to 858 (NDVI), from 1160 to 862 (SAVI), from 1149 to 884 hectares (OSAVI) and in the algorithm, the maximum likelihood of similarity has decreased from 1393 to 855 hectares. Investigation of threshold values of plant indices to identify urban green cover showed that the range of threshold values in NDVI was variable from 0.2 to 0.3, in SAVI was variable from 0.44 to 0.47 and in OSAVI was variable from 0.34 to 0.36 and using Pearson test in SPSS software, correlation coefficient values between NDVI, SAVI, OSAVI, maximum likelihood algorithm and the studied years were significant at the 1% level. The results of this test also indicated that there was no significant difference between the results of these methods in this study. This reduction of green cover is considered a serious danger for the citizens of Shiraz. Manuscript profile

Forest is a valuable heritage and one of the important factors in the ecosystem of each area that in addition to using and exploiting them, they should be preserved. Zagros’ forests, especially in Lorestan province due to negligence have been destroyed throughout past years. The aim of this research is to investigation, detect and modeling Romeshkan’s forests’ cover changes. To do this, first changes that were taken place between 1987-2017 were extracted by satellite Landsat images and using Fuzzy Object-Based classification method, then, were classified in 5 classes (Agriculture, Forest, Range, water and Residential). Finally, classification results show that there is a sharp decrease of forested areas (81.17 km2) and an increase of Range and Farmlands over past 30 years in the forest area. In a period of 1987-2002 forest cover of the study area had not faced major changes, but most of the rangelands turned to farmlands. While in the second period from 2002 onwards forest cover dramatically dipped and its area decreased from 122.58 km2 to 43.42 km2 in 2017, which the rate of forest covers decrement was around 79.16 km2. Moreover, in order to predict forest cover changes in the future CA-Markov model was applied that indicates 10.70% of current forest covers will be reduced in 2030, and the main changes will be occurred between forest classes to farmlands and rangelands classess by 6.901 and 9.172 km2, respectively. One of the concepts that are presented in most of areas is sustainable management where human, social and environmental aspects are considered besides of economical impacts. One of the social aspects is agility of relief operations in emergency situations. To achieve agile management in such circumstances, a generalized model of the capacitated covering tour problem with the possibility of direct aid to the affected areas with hard time windows is provided in this study. The injured areas might be covered by relief centers or can be operated by a direct relief from the central station by special vehicles. To improve the model and management the time, constraints of hard time windows have been added to the model. This would prioritize the management of relief operations in injured areas due to the severity of the damage on them. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal set of established relief centers, distribute rescue teams and relief aid from the central station of the bases, and also deploy relief teams to the disaster that is not covered by any relief center in optimized cost and time. A mixed integer programming model is developed and a genetic algorithm is proposed to solve the model in large and medium instances. The results of numerical examples confirm the validity and effectiveness of the genetic algorithm. Manuscript profile

Abstract Portfolio selection is one of the most important areas in financial decision-making; A portfolio of stocks that could bring the highest rate of return and the lowest risk investment for its owner simultaneously. However in choosing the most prefered portfolio just these factors are not decisive and according to the economic environment, many factors can affect this process which should be employed. Therefore, these diversity of factors, bring to the limelight the importance of multi-criteria decision-making approaches. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is one of this approaches. The main purpose of this paper is comparing the traditional DEA approaches to a new proposed algorithm. In traditional approaches simply assumed that return to scale is constant or variable. This simplification may cause large errors. In the new algorithm by analyzing the behavior of return to scale, appropriate model will be used. As a case study, the models have been solved with real data belonging to Tehran stock exchange and the results have been analyzed. Manuscript profile

According to strategic importance of performance assessment, today a few limited numbers of organizations are going to guarantee the improvements of their personnel’s performance through an appropriate evaluation of their staff. For this purpose, the current research was done in social security fund of Semnan province. This research has followed a descriptive goal (based on a case study) with a comparative logic through a limited applicable process which is considered to be as the most crucial selected method in order to extract the information of documents and the organization. Receipt, tables and diagrams are referred to as the most important tools applied in this paper. The fuzzy data envelopment analysis was selected as the most appropriate method for analyzing the data based on the studies done. The results in this research indicate that the current traditional systems of assessment in the social security fund of Semnan province does not have enough efficiency and it does not have any effect on the increase of willingness and tendency of the staff. Therefore, a new system of assessment which was compiled on the basis of the fuzzy data envelopment analysis was represented to substitute the traditional system. This model had some strong points such as the personnel assessment without the manager`s verdict, having the ability to perform under the circumstance of uncertainly, the probable presence of an ideal virtual unit, and the evaluation of personnel based on the predetermined objects. There is a hope to see this part of the health services management to become more represented in the future by the conduction of the suggested assessment system in the research society. A majority of studies around efficiency assessment just estimate it. Indeed, they don’t address the roots of inefficiency of DMUs. These shortcomings could be resulted from silo approaches conducted by researchers. Our research aims address this gap. We propose a two-stage procedure in which first, the efficiency of bancassurance desks are estimated by DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) and then, roots of inefficiency are identified by a survey designed based on enabler section of European Foundation for Quality Management model (EFQM) and conducted among bancassurance desks employees. This study is applied in terms of purpose, and mathematical as well as statistical in terms of data analysis. The population of this study consisted of all bancassurance desks of BANK MELLAT in 2015. After efficient and inefficient branches of bancassurance have been estimated and ranked, in order to identify factors affecting efficiency, a questionnaire designed according with criteria of EFQM. Reliability of questionnaire was tested by Cronbach's alpha coefficient, and normal distribution of data was tested by using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The effects of variables (factors) on efficiency were evaluated via regression analysis, then obtained answers were tested for research questions. The results of ranking the impact of factors on the efficiency of bancassurance desks showed that employees, partnerships and resources, products and services, strategy, and leadership are the efficient factors, respectively. Startup accelerator program is a new incubation model to accelerate venture creation providing specialized mentorship, networking opportunities and financing growth driven businesses. Since emergence of the first accelerator in US in 2005, the number of seed accelerating programs has quickly grown worldwide. Performance evaluation of these emerging programs not only could clarify relative success of this new incubation approach but also help out Iranian emerging accelerators to benchmark from pioneers of the industry. The evaluation could also assist startups and entrepreneurs to find out which of the existing accelerators are well-performed and thus ease decision making to select them as their incubator. So in this paper we aim to measure the performance of US top accelerators using a DEA method combined with goal programing approach. The inputs of the evaluation consist of numbers of mentors and startups, investment on each startup in average and in general, and the share of accelerator in startup company. The outputs in turn are different and include number and value of exits, and fund raising. Comparison of the final result with Seed Accelerator Ranking Project (SARP), shows different sorting and it is due the distinct evaluation approach. SARP considers only outputs of accelerators but we take in to account both outputs and inputs in the evaluation which could better illustrate the efficiency of DMUs. Manuscript profile

The supply chain management debate is one of the most important discussions in the organizations. But there are many social, economic, and environmental problems encouraging organizations to use sustainable supply chain management. Because the sustainable supply chain is to improve the long-term supply chain performance to address the social, economic, and environmental problems of the traditional supply chain. Given that supply chains have grown rapidly in recent years, only paying attention to economic performance for cost optimization cannot lead to sustainable development in the supply chain, therefore, the impact of various activities involved in the supply chain on social life and Environmental issues that lead to sustainable development should also be considered. In this research, the goal of evaluation and ranking of sustainable supply chain suppliers is using the data envelopment analysis method. First of all, using previous studies in this area, we first identify the important variables of choosing sustainable supply chain suppliers according to the economic, environmental and social measures for the District 6 water and sewage company. Subsequently, according to an interview with experts in this area, we reduced the indexes. Finally, DEA models were ranked by the suppliers of sustainable supply chain water and sewage companies in District 6 of Tehran as a statistical population. Manuscript profile

Strategy is the most crucial long-term source for the growth of organizations; and in the case, that there is a lack, in the implementation of successful strategy, even if appropriate ones are adopted, this process is incompetent. In order to execute and apply these programs appropriately, with the exception of the financial characteristics, organizations must also be assessed simultaneously from other facets. The Balanced Scorecard which focuses on four aspects, such as financial, as a result of performance in the past (past indexes) and the three aspects of, processes, customer, growth and learning and centers on the (future indexes), is considered as a comprehensive framework for assessing performance and the progress of strategy. Moreover, we are aware that many factors have an influence on organizations and some from the viewpoint of control get out of domain, and it is vital that from this angle, the amount of impact is assessed. The Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is one of the best mathematical methods to compute the efficiency of organizations. In that, the Balance Scorecard method proves to be of high standing for the evaluation of performance, one of its weak points is that, it lacks a quantitative measurement in respect to the organization’s performance in utilizing a mathematical mode. To solve this problem, DEA has been adopted. In this paper, we have attempted to combine these two abovementioned systems and efforts have been made to use BSC as a tool for designing the performance assessment indexes and from DEA, which has been used as a tool to evaluate the performance in the presence of uncontrollable indexes. In recent years, target coverage is one of the important problems in visual sensor networks. An efficient use of energy is required in order to increase the network lifetime, while covering all the targets. In this paper, we address the Maximum Lifetime with Coverage Scheduling (MLCS) problem that maximizes the network lifetime. We develop a simulated annealing (SA) algorithm that divides the sensors’ Field-of-View (FoV) to a number of cover sets that can cover all the targets and then applies a sleep-wake scheduling algorithm. On the other hand, we have to identify the best possible FoV of sensors according to the targets’ location using rotating cameras, to reduce the solution space and find a near-optimal solution. It also provides the balanced distribution of energy consumption by introducing a new energy and neighbor generating function as well as escaping from local optima. Finally, we conduct some simulation experiments to evaluate the performance of our proposed method by comparing with well-known solutions in the literature such as greedy algorithms. The point-set covering is one of the important problems in computational geometry, which has many applications. In this problem, the given points should be covered by at least one geometric shape. A variant of the problem is the point-set separation, in which there are at least two different kinds of points which are colored by different colors. The geometric shapes, which are called separators, should only cover the points of the same color. In this paper, separation of blue and red points by a double-wedge of a given angle θ is considered. The proposed algorithm reports all separator θ angle double-wedges in optimal time O(nlogn). Manuscript profile

Coverage of an area, with one or multiple sensors, is one of the fundamental challenges in wireless sensor networks. Since a sensor life span is limited and reliable data is of great importance, sensitive applications like fire\leakage alarm systems, intrusion detection, etc. need multiple sensors to cover the region of interest, which is called K-coverage. Most of the studies that have been carried out on K-coverage evaluation have used binary sensing model. In this paper, we propose a grid-based K-coverage evaluation technique using probabilistic sensing model to increase evaluation accuracy and decrease evaluation time. The proposed technique is implemented using NS-2 simulator, and its results are compared to probabilistic perimeter-based and binary grid-based techniques. The results indicate that the proposed technique improved accuracy by 14% and 24% compared to the mentioned techniques respectively. It also shows 7% decrease in evaluation time compared to probabilistic perimeter-based technique. Manuscript profile

Understanding and analyzing spatial-temporal data changes is very important in various applications, including the protection and development of natural resources. In the past studies, Markov process and comparison-based methods were mainly used to predict the changes of vegetation indices, whose accuracy still needs improvement. Although time series analysis has been used to predict some indices, the method to extract these indices from remote sensing data and model their sequences with deep learning is rarely observed. In this article, a method for predicting changes in plant indices based on deep learning is presented. The research data includes Landsat satellite images from 2000 to 2018, related to four seasons in the north and east of Shahrood city in Semnan province. The time span of the extracted images makes it possible to predict changes in vegetation cover. Vegetation indices extracted from the data set are NDVI, SAVI and RVI. After performing atmospheric corrections on the images, the desired indicators are extracted and then the data is converted into a time series. Finally, the modeling of the sequence of these data is performed by the Short-Long-Term Memory (LSTM) network. The results of the experiments show that the deep network is able to predict future values with high accuracy. The amount of the model error without additional data is 0.03 for the NDVI index, 0.02 for the SAVI index, and 0.06 for the RVI index. Manuscript profile

As a service industry that has significantly expanded in recent years, tourism plays an important role in developing many countries, including Iran, which enjoys various unique historical, religious, cultural, and natural sites and a four-season climate. Therefore, this study set out to examine the efficiency of Iran's tourism industry using tourism data regarding its 31 provinces during the years 2011 to 2017, including the information concerning the budget allocated to the tourism sector, the number of accommodation places, the number of tourist attraction sites in each province, and the number of domestic and foreign tourists. To this end, Fuzzy Data Envelopment Analysis was used to analyze the collected data. The study's results showed that Ardabil, Tehran, Kohkiluyeh Boyer-Ahmad, and Gilan had had the efficiency in terms of tourism throughout the study period, with their average efficiency as a primary criterion for assessing the efficiency of the country's tourism industry reported as average. Moreover, the analysis of the tourism industry's efficiency in different climates suggested that the highest efficiency belonged to the temperate and humid climate, and the lowest one was related to the hot and dry climate. Therefore, it seems that facilitating transportation infrastructure and providing welfare facilities, especially in provinces with low efficiency, could help use the potentials of different provinces to develop the country's tourism industry. Maximizing area coverage is an important issue in the placement of wireless network sensors, the realization of which helps to improve the network monitoring power. In many applications, the sensors are first randomly distributed in the sensing filed and then their placement is modified. The virtual force algorithm (VFA) tries to achieve a more desirable deployment from an initial sensing deployment by considering repulsive and attractive forces between the sensors. In this paper, the combination of Takashi-Sugeno fuzzy system with VFA is used to achieve a better redeployment of the sensors. To adaptively adjust optimal distance value of the sensors, two fuzzy methods are proposed in this paper and their role in improving performance of the virtual force algorithm is analyzed. Comparison of the performance of the proposed methods with the state-of-the-art reveals that intelligent and adaptive adjustment of the optimal distance using a fuzzy system leads to higher final coverage ratio over traditional virtual force algorithm (VFA), improved virtual force algorithm (IVFA), fuzzy redeployment algorithm (FRED), and two metaheuristics GA, and PSO. On the other hand, the proposed VF-based methods require much less time to solve the problem than GA and PSO metaheuristic methods. Manuscript profile

Self-healing polymers are categorized as smart materials that are capable of surface protection and prevention of structural failure. Polyurethane/polyurea, as one of the representative coatings, has also attracted attention for industrial applications. Compared with polyurethane, polyurea coating, with a similar formation process, provides higher tensile strength and requires shorter curing time. The working principle of polyurea self-healing mechanisms is to fill cracks by introducing more healing components, which can polymerize and seal damage in the material. Alternatively, it can also be addressed by encouraging continuous chemical reactions, which can form bonds to close gaps between the separated faces of material due to the damage. In this paper, extrinsic and intrinsic mechanisms are reviewed to address the efficiency of the self-healing process. Furthermore, the extrinsic and intrinsic mechanisms have been compared to attain a better understanding of the advantages and limitations of each mechanism. Moreover, formulation optimization and strategic improvement to ensure self-healing within a shorter period of time with acceptable recovery of mechanical strength are also discussed. The choice and ratio of diisocyanates, as well as the choice of chain extender, are believed to have a crucial effect on the acceleration of the self-healing process and enhance self-healing efficiency during the preparation of polyurea coatings. In this paper, problem of using the 3D beamforming method (3DBF) in a multi-input-multi-output cellular communication network (MIMO) is discussed. The network consists of a cell with multiple users, in which users are distributed based on the Poisson point (PPP) process at the cell area, which is closer to the conditions in a real mobile network. In this case, the number of users inside the cell and their location will be random. Depending on the distribution of users in the space and the difference in their distance from the base station, their elevation angles will also be different. Considering the downlink transmission and the zero-forcing (ZF) precoder in the base station, with the aim of eliminating intra cell interference, we evaluate and analyze the probability of coverage in the cell and then we obtain the best antenna tilt angle to achieve maximum probability of coverage. Using the analysis of numerical results, the accuracy of the calculations and the value of the optimal tilt angle of the antenna array are confirmed. Manuscript profile

Establishment of the modern managerial systems is one of the most important steps for the excellence of organizations. The European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM) is one of the technics that has started from Europe during the two recent decades and nowadays many organizations are in the process of implementing this model with- in their managerial domain. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a known nonparametric tool for evaluating the organization’s efficiency. In addition to having the capability to measure the total efficiency of a system, network DEA is able to calculate the efficiency of system components. Since EFQM can be considered as a multi-stage system, existence of network DEA along with it can improve the analysis. In this paper, an integrated model has been suggested based on EFQM and Network DEA for assessing the organization’s operation. For this purpose, at first the EFQM has been considered as a ‘four-stage system’ including leadership (the first stage), activities related to employees, policy, strategy and partnership (the second stage), processes (the third stage), and results (the fourth stage). Then considering 32 sub-criteria in EFQM, input and output variables have been determined for each one of the four stage s and on this basis math form for Network DEA model has been developed for this 4-satge system. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to explain the grading criteria of departments and branch supervisors in banking with two approaches of modern banking and merging branches. Necessity: In the first step, the efficiency model of regions and guardianships should be examined, regarding the measurement of the efficiency of banks, various studies have been found that sometimes have contradictory results, but considering the two simultaneous approaches of modern banking and the integration of branches, regarding the explanation of the framework of efficiency evaluation in No research has been found on the level of supervisors and branch offices. Methodology: In this research, hierarchical analysis (AHP) is used to determine the grading criteria of branch affairs offices and supervisors, and data envelopment analysis (DEA) is used for grading. Findings: Among the 27 branches and supervision departments of the bank, 11 branches and supervision departments have a relative efficiency of 100%, which include the branches and supervisions of West Azerbaijan, Ilam, Greater Tehran, Razavi Khorasan, Zanjan, Qazvin, Qom, Kurdistan, Kahgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, Markazi and Hormozgan. Conclusion: All the branch affairs departments and bank supervisors are not working. 11 branch affairs administration and country supervision during the years 1400-1395 have always worked efficiently. The management of this office of branches and guardianships can be encouraged and set as a model for other branches and guardianships. However, the method of data coverage analysis introduces patterns well for each department of branch affairs and supervision. Manuscript profile

Rock beds containing plant macrofossils of Norian in Alborz region belong to two stratigraphic units of Lalehband and Shahmirzad. The same beds in Kopeh-Dagh area belong to Mian-Kuhi Formation and in Central Iran belong to Qadir submember in Tabas region and Dehroud member in Kerman region. In general, plant diversity and vegetative cover during the Norian stage is less than Rhaetian especially Jurassic (Shemshak group) and the highest plant diversity of Norian in the Alborz basin is related to the phyllum of Pteridospermophytes (seed ferns) and in the Central Iran basin is related to the phyllum of Pteridophyta (ferns) indicating the higher humidity of the mentioned time in Central Iran basin and the drier climate in Alborz basin. The highest diversity of vegetation in Norian sediments throughout Iran belongs to the seed ferns (Pteridospermophyta) and the lowest diversity belongs to Ginkgophytes so that they comprise 32% (one third of the vegetation) and 6.5% of the total vegetation, respectively. Plant-covered areas throughout Alborz were interconnected during the Norian period and there was no extensive separation between them. The plant macrofossils assemblage in both Alborz and Central Iran basins confirms the relatively humid subtropical to tropical climate for the Norian but less humidity compared to the Rhaetian. Also, the vegetation of Norian in Alborz was less dense and scattered than Central Iran during Norian. Manuscript profile
