Vandalism is a conscious, volitional, and self-imposed destruction of properties, general amenities and utilities of the city. Alongside with population increase and expansion, and physical spaces, today's cities face a variety of urban problems and damages, which collectively threatens these communities in terms of environmental health, and security including issues of vandalism behaviors in the city. Given these circumstances, the necessity of considering the fact that the public spaces of the country's cities have encountered this social dilemma is of special significance. Subsequently Ardabil’s public spaces which are exposed to young people commuting are also facing such issues and problems. The main objective of this research is to identify the features of the physical space in the occurrence of vandalism behaviors in the two studied towns of the Ardabil city. This research is of applied type, and the data analysis method is descriptive-analytic. The first stage includes selection of indices, and physical data collection of two studied towns in development and expansion of vandalism phenomenon including urban land use, population density, the amount of access to the facilities and possible destruction utilities, level of isolation, and openness of urban spaces. The second stage includes analysis of collected data, preparation of maps and overlaying of them via GIS software in order to identify areas susceptible to cause this special damage. Results from data analysis, and checking the zoning of these two towns in terms of affectedness from vandalism phenomenon indicate that the vulnerability of Kowsar town is higher than Karshenasan town since the amount of open and isolated spaces with the use of urban uncultivated lands, and green spaces are more in Kowsar town. Moreover, the building and population density in Karshenasan town is higher than Kowsar town. Another important factor to be mentioned is the existence of the Shorabil recreational and tourism complex in Kowsar town which has created favorable conditions for the occurrence of this phenomenon. The people living in rural areas have created special residential fabrics during the time, based on the socio-economic relationships that determine their lives and activities, which in terms of both physical-structural, and various socio-economic functions, are considered as valuable historical-civilization heritage of the country. Recognizing the set of effective forces in the formation of such textures and the factors influencing their structural-functional transformation, opens the way for recognizing the processes of production and formation of social spaces. Therfore, the scientific understanding of such processes, as well as the formation of different types of land use in the process of general socio-economic development, is one of the basic tasks of researchers in space systems, especially of geographers. This article, as a case study, relying on the "strategy of structural-functional dynamics", tries beside the reviewing the main forces and factors affecting the formation of various rural textures in Ardabil region, to evaluate the relationships between differnet land uses and transformation of rural fabrics. The research method in this study was descriptive-analytical and based on the collection of library and field data and information (observation and interview). The results show that the development of texture by changing aspects and dimensions of land use in these villages according to the conditions of the whole country is in line with the transformation of spaces and a kind of orientation towards urban spaces. It is clear that such changes have been accompanied by positive and negative aspects. Manuscript profile

Safvat al-safa is one of the mystical books in the 8th century written by Ebn e Bazzaz about the characteristics of Sheikh Safi Ardabili. This book, written in late Mongol era, has been always considered as a historical document because it illustrates the features of Mysticism and Sufism in that era especially in the west of Iran. Discovering the identity of the characters in the book while some of which have not been studied so far, gives us more information about Mysticism before the advent of Safavid. By studying the book Safvat- al-safa, we figure out the effective role of women in this era. Some of them were mystics or disciples of sheikh Safi and some of them were prominent characters in that era due to their influence on the government and society, besides their mystic trends. In this research, after the introduction, by presenting examples from stories in Safvat al-safa, 15 women are introduced in two fields of mysticism and politics , and their roles in these fields are studied. The traditional Iranian bazaar, as a prototype of Islamic-Iranian art and architecture and rich cultural heritage, like other urban contexts, has not been immune to the consequences of developments resulting from modern life in its inner and outer realm. New structures are necessary to change and create for the survival of historical contexts, and in this regard, there must be attention paid to the concept of contextualism and its purpose in the historical context, based on the need to know and extract the language of the context, for structural integration in peripheral development. In order to investigate the inconsistency of infills in the historical context of the Iranian-Islamic city and critique of the existing contextualism, this research first explains the pattern language in the traditional market of Ardabil with a descriptive-analytical method and then based on the characteristics of the fractal model, uses the fractal analysis method as quantitative research method and the fractal dimension parameter as a correlation geometry and the criterion of proportionality between scaling and the number of scales, in order to measure the degree of visual integration between contemporary infills. The facade of five contemporary passages in the second-class region of Ardabil’s traditional bazaar is examined qualitatively through field observation based on the components of theoretical foundations of research, and for quantitative factual analysis, by box counting method and software Image-j Fractional analysis, the fractal dimension of each sample is calculated. Due to absence of facade in the nature of the traditional market, the documents related to the interior views of Ardabil market are prepared, calculated and finally the results are compared with each other. The findings suggest that the fractal dimension of the specimens, as a measure of integration, is in the range of less than 1.5; while the traditional market model has a fractal dimension above 1.5. Therefore, it is necessary to address the components of comprehensive scaling and distribution of scales, as fractal-like pattern language of historical context, instead of formalism in contemporary infill designs. The Khoshnameh altered area is located about 20 km south of Khalkhal (Ardebil province) and lies in the Hashjin metallogenic district. The formation of extensive serictic, argillic, silicic, chloritic and iron oxides alterations in the Chenar, Mahmudabad and east of Khoshnameh, as well as the copper-lead-zinc mineralization events (e.g. Senjedeh, Shalvali and Ommabad) appears to be intimately affiliated to the fluids derived from upper Oligocene granodiorite intrusions which were emplaced within the Eocene trachy-basalt, andesite and pyroclastic rocks. The key point of this research is to investigate the preference of the Stage Factor Analysis (SFA) to evaluate the geochemical dispersion of mineralization and the visualization of real anomalies throughout the Khoshnameh area. Since the concentration of rock forming elements that are not related to mineralization has a negative effect on the factor privilege of elements, then the number of factors to increase the severity of anomalies must be reduce. For this purpose, initially nine factors were calculated based on the chemical composition of the samples. At this stage, non-representative elements and elements that did not participate in any of the factors were identified and removed from the data set and factor analysis was re-applied. After applying three stages of analysis on the data, the most effective predictive and important factors in terms of mineralization were deduced. Consequently, the number of factors decreased to 5. Therefore, using this method increases the prediction rate and success of the exploration, compared to the typical factor analysis method. Thus, the probable anomalies of Ba, Sn, Pb and Mo mineralization from the first factor and As, Cd and Sb mineralization from the fourth factor are predicted and introduced. Manuscript profile

The restoration, preservation, and prosperity of historical monuments in Iran are directly related to the presence of heritage tourists. Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate the impact of destination image and satisfaction on heritage loyalty within a conceptual model based on the visitors of Sheikh Safi al-Din Ardabili collection in Ardabil, Iran. The research method was descriptive-survey and the sample size was determined to be 375 people by using available sampling method and Cochran formula (unspecified population size). Data were analyzed using the SPSS and AMOS softwares. Results showed that most respondents had relatively high satisfaction with their visit to the collection. According to the results of structural equations analysis, the most effective variables related to loyalty, destination image and tourist satisfaction were the variables of tourists' revisit of the collection, awareness and interest and tourism costs, respectively. The destination image also has a significant effect on satisfaction; But effect of destination image on the heritage tourists’ loyalty is mediated by the mediating variable of satisfaction. Therefore, the focus of heritage tourism marketing programs on improving the destination image among heritage tourists would not necessarily lead to an increase in tourists' revisit from the collection. But, attention to satisfaction variable, especially reducing tourism costs and increasing the security feeling, can have more effect on tourists’ loyalty. Manuscript profile

Urban bodies and their social and cultural dimensions, with a semiotic approach, play an effective role in creating a sense of belonging to a place in citizens. It is important to identify the patterns of integrated and coordinated urban bodies effective on the perception of the audience in order to create social life, social interactions and place identity. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of urban bodies on creating a sense of belonging among citizens and to determine the patterns of urban bodies that are effective on the sense of belonging to a place, which has been studied in the body of the west side of Imam Khomeini Street in Ardabil, the main and oldest street of this city. The research method is applied and descriptive- survey type and it was carried out by a combined (quantitative- qualitative) method. To collect information, library studies and field survey methods, observation and questionnaire have been used. Based on the findings of the research, the sense of belonging to a place among citizens is influenced by the social- perceptual components of the urban body; It is possible to increase the sense of satisfaction and sense of belonging to the place among the citizens by coordinating the shops, suitable furniture, revitalizing the destroyed buildings, appropriateness in color, appropriateness in the skyline, favorable facade design and suitable vegetation. The result of the research in the case study shows that the high age, proper access and the holding of national- religious rituals have created a sense of belonging to the place. Also, structures that are familiar with the culture and identity of citizens create a sense of belonging to a place. The use of urban walls related to identity and historical and native culture for national religious rituals can encourage people to be in the street and create memories and mental images for them and consequently increase the sense of belonging to a place. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between religious beliefs and dependence on the use of social networks with the degree of observance and commitment to the Islamic hijab of students of Mohaghegh Ardabili University. The statistical population of this study was undergraduate students in different fields of Mohaghegh Ardabili University of Ardabil in the academic year of 1398. For this purpose, 430 students (307 girls and 123 boys) in different disciplines were selected by stratified and random cluster sampling. Made replied; In this study, structural equation modeling method was used to analyze the data. Findings indicate that the direct effect of religious dimension, emotional dimension, consequential dimension, ritual dimension on students 'observance of Islamic hijab is significant, also the direct effect of dependence on the use of virtual social networks has an effect on students' observance of Islamic hijab. It is worth noting that the dimensions of student religiosity and dependence on the use of virtual social networks in data analysis overlap. In other words, the dimensions of religiosity and dependence on the use of virtual social networks, if together, can have a significant impact on students' observance of the Islamic hijab. Of course, the effect of religiosity dimensions on dependence on the use of virtual social networks is negative and inverse. Manuscript profile

As the goals outlined in the Iranian Strategic Tourism Development Policy Document cannot be realized without attracting financial resources, this study sought to design a model for effective strategic factors in attracting investors to the tourism industry in Ardabil province using the mixed-method approach. The population of the study at the qualitative phase comprised managers and officials of the Directorate General for Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism of the province, potential and real professionals and investors in tourism, and university experts with at least five years of experience in tourism management, investment, and marketing. The sample size of the study was selected through purposive sampling. To collect the required data, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the participants of the study until theoretical saturation was achieved in the twenty-fifth interview. The collected data were then analyzed via systematic grounded theory using open, axial, and selective coding. Accordingly, fifty-four concepts, eighteen sub-categories, and seven main categories were found after the integration and classification of concepts. Based on the proposed model of the study, the investors’ tendency to invest in tourism, tourism environment, and investment attraction management, the quality of tourism infrastructure, social factors prevailing over the region, supportive measures, and strengthening the position of tourism were identified as the core category, causal conditions, contextual conditions, intervening conditions, strategy, and the result of the implementation of strategies, respectively. In the quantitative phase, a questionnaire was developed by the researchers based on the identified components. Then, the questionnaire was administered to 220 investors and experts in the field of tourism. The collected data were then analyzed through the Smart PLS Software using structural equation modeling. Finally, the validity and correlation among the model’s variables were reconfirmed. Manuscript profile
