Brevity means decorating speech from additional comments and unnecessary elements, so that the most content may be stated by the lowest number of words; this method, which is also used in old literature but its special consideration is one the most significant successes of Contemporary Poetry, changed the syntactical structures in addition to speech briefing. The focus of some contemporary poets to some of these methods is practically an approach toward old linguistic structures, but some others can be regarded as the linguistic achievements of Contemporary Literature. The article reviews the methods of achieving Brevity in two main groups of brevity and deletion methods in poems of a group of contemporary poets and compares them with deletion and brevity methods in Old Classic Literature; we aimed to show the effect of Old Classic Literature linguistic structures on some part of brevity structures and the degree of innovation in some deletion methods of Contemporary Poem, in addition to identifying these methods in Contemporary Poem. The emergence and expansion of constructivism as one of the significant conceptual and theoretical frameworks in International Relations in the two last decades was accompanied by an increase in interest toward empirical researches in this framework. Researching in the framework of this approach has some special implications which is unfortunately less followed in current researches and surveys, especially in students’ theses and dissertations. In addition to this, many of the young scholars in the field of International Relations who are theoretically interested in constructivism are in doubt about choosing domains of subjects they can empirically research from this perspective. The purpose of this article is to show The implications of conventional constructivism survey and it's subject domains. The applied method for collecting data in this essay is library-based and depends on the theoretical and meta-theoretical texts and empirical surveys and researches and shows that how can constructivism be a theoretical base for almost all subject domains in the field of International Relations. The Concept of Soft Power introduced by Joseph Nye in late eighties has comprised most parts of works related to immaterial approach toward power (especially in relation to USA). The significant point is that the exclusive position of this kind of “Nye-Based attitude” which caused other ideas and comments related to explicating quality of soft application of power to be neglected and forgotten though they have high priorities in foreign policy (like the theory of just war, the conclusion of democratic peace, Post-Grameci interpretation of Dominance and so on). This study, based on the explication of software dimension along with the Nye ideas, attempts to emphasize this meaning that along the process of theorizing international relations, Nye’s view is just one of the theories which emphasizes the soft mode of power and we must follow an Ultra-Nye sample. Assessment of knowledge management (KM) helps knowledge-based organizations to establish their KM process effectively. So, it is necessary to define some measures to evaluate KM process of these organizations. These indicators can measure efficiency and effectiveness of KM process in knowledge-based organizations. The purpose of this paper development of an assessment model for KM process in knowledge-based companies. In this study, a model was developed based on four enabler factors of knowledge management including “human resources, information technology, education and culture”, and four KM sub-processes including “creating, storing, sharing and applying knowledge”. The statistical sample consists of staff and faculty members of University of Qom in which the developed model is evaluated as a case study. A descriptive-survey research method was conducted in this study based on a questionnaire. The results indicate that University of Qom has not focused enough on KM process. Also, the results of the Fridman test show that none of the studied factors and processes is in a desirable condition in the university; it has been pay less attention to “Organizational culture” and “knowledge creating”, whereas “education” and “knowledge applying” have received more attention. The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating role of perceived social support in the relationship between early maladaptive schemas and quality of life. The method of present study was descriptive-correlational and population comprised general population of Shiraz city. Three handred and ninety one individuals (182 men, 209 women) were selected through convenience sampling method. Subjects were asked to complete the Schema Questionnaire (Young & Brown, 1999), Quality of Life Scale (WHOQOL-BREF, 1998) and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (Zimet, et al, 1988). Data analysis was accomplished by path analysis. Results showed that perceived social support has mediating role between disconnection/ rejection domain, impaired limits domain (p<0/01) and being other-directed domain (p<0/05) with quality of life. Based on findings, it can be concluded that early maladaptive schemas influence quality of life through perceived social support. Therefore, perceived social support and early maladaptive schemas should be the core of clinical focus in improving quality of life. Manuscript profile

The production sector has come under severe pressure to both cope with its problems and maintain competitiveness, by such factors as diminishing natural resources, climate change, worsening environmental pollution, ecological incompatibility of the industrial age activities with the environment, and the decline in quality of human life due to the increasing global industrialization. Meanwhile, sustainability, especially in production, and progress towards sustainable production have grown in importance for developed countries aiming to overcome their challenges for a sustainable development. Sustainability is an increasingly significant need for human activities, and achieving a sustainable development has turned into a major priority for human development. Sustainable development is a landscape that simultaneously targets social, economic, and environmental issues in general within the process of development. Meanwhile, the concept of sustainable production, which is intertwined with the concept of sustainable development, targets manufacturing companies and service providers. This study is focused on sustainability of manufacturing businesses, aiming to both identify sustainable production constructs, and evaluate and classify programs that can play a more effective role in this regard. First, dimensions and constructs of sustainable production were identified through interviews and relying on repertory grid technique, from the viewpoint of 33 managers in successful industrial production companies with at least five consecutive and sustainable years of activity across Semnan Province in Iran. Then 33 personal repertory grids and a total of 175 primary personal constructs were elicited for sustainable production. These constructs were explored and analyzed, and an aggregated grid consisting of 87 secondary constructs was drawn. Next, using principal component analysis (PCA), the principal constructs contributing to sustainable production were categorized into two major concepts and their components were determined Manuscript profile

In this paper an approach to improve the quality of synthetic speech in formant and concatenative synthesis techniques is described. To deal with this problem we focused on using vocoders. In concatenative speech synthesis the idea is based on post processing the generated speech to reduce discontinuities. The post processing is consists of integrating Straight method to synthesis system in order to smooth the boundary between units. On the other hand, in formant synthesis we used multi excitation linear predictive method to replace simple excitation signal in Klatt method with multiband excitation. Our synthesis techniques were evaluated with respect to naturalness, fluidity and intelligibility based on subjective methods. These experiments clarified that the naturalness of synthetic speech can be improved by using our smoothing methods and multiband excitation signal. Manuscript profile

Nowadays, office, residential, and historic buildings often require special monitoring. Obviously, such monitoring involves costs, errors and challenges. As a result of factors such as lower cost, broader application, and ease of installation, wireless sensor networks are frequently replacing wired sensor networks for structural health monitoring. Depending on the type and condition of a structure, factors such as energy consumption and accuracy, as well as fault tolerance are important. Particularly when wireless sensor networks are involved, these are ongoing challenges which, despite research, have the possibility of being improved. Using the Markov decision process and wake-up sensors, this paper proposes an innovative approach to monitoring stable and semi-stable structures, reducing the associated cost and error over existing methods, and according to the problem, we have advantages both in implementation and execution. Thus, the proposed method uses the Markov decision process and wake-up sensors to provide a new and more efficient technique than existing methods in order to monitor the health of stable and semi-stable structures. This approach is described in six steps and compared to widely used methods, which were tested and simulated in CupCarbon simulation environment with different metrics, and shows that the proposed solution is better than similar solutions in terms of a reduction of energy consumption from 11 to 70%, fault tolerance in the transferring of messages from 10 to 80%, and a reduction of cost from 93 to 97%. The essence of faith is a controversial issue, especially among Muslim and, more prevalently, among Christian thinkers. In this connection, the relation between faith and doubt is one of the main cases of the diffrences of this controversy. In an attempt to pin down the sources of these differences, this paper trace their roots to matters such as differences in the contents of religious beliefs, the theoretical presuppositions of the religious thinkers, the different socio-political experiences of the religious societies and, finally, the differences in the intellectual-philosophical currents affecting these two religious fields. Admitting the important role of the last component, one can expect that the rapid growth of communications as the main channel of exchange of ideas may create opportunities for the Islamic thought to come into contact with rival and opposing views on account of which the Islamic Faith may face the same challenges that Christianity had to confront in recent centuries. This article, by using a concept analytical method toward explaining the relationship between faith and doubt, adopts an epistemological approach called constructivist realism as a basis for Islamic Faith and maintains that contrary to the belief by certain circles of Christianity, doubt cannot be regarded as an integral element of faith. Although the existence of doubt is undeniable, it is not a challenger vis-a-vis faith. This premise seems to predispose Islamic education to, on the one hand, promote tolerance regarding doubt and to emphasize effort and motivation for attaining certainty on the other. This paper discusses the challenges Turkey has faced in its bid for accession to the European Union (EU) membership. As argued here, two independent variables; namely, identity and economic incongruity, have confronted Turkey’s endeavor with certain serious challenges. To test this hypothesis, the authors explain the EU’s approach to the question of membership through theories of constructivism and economic liberalism. As discussed in the paper, the major challenges faced by Turkey in this process stem from the peculiar characteristics of power and political structure in the country, including the Islamic heritage and identity, incomplete democratization as embodied in a semi-democratic political structure, and also the developing nature of the economy. The paper concludes that as long as these characteristics persist, Turkey will have a hard row to hoe for the accession to the European Union. Manuscript profile

Since the common denominator among EU members is increasing dependence on imported oil and gas, security of energy supply is a major concern for the European Union. When assured about security and effectiveness of energy market, those countries will be able to continue increasing consumption of energy. However, the rising energy price, especially with regard to natural gas, has led to questions about future situation of energy supply security for the EU members. Therefore, this paper first focuses on the rising demand for gas and the risks of overdependence of the EU members on gas supply from Russian Gazprom Company, which may lead to repetition of Ukraine experience and the international gas crisis in 2006 and 2009. It then analyzes geopolitical and international aspects of future energy supply security for the EU and strategic plans developed by its members to handle these challenges. In conclusion, the paper introduces Iran as a good alternative source for ensuring energy security of the EU due to its geoeconomic conditions. Manuscript profile
