Abstract
This article examines the concept of “soft war” as a cultural, psychological, and media attack to change the beliefs and values of Islamic societies from the perspective of the Quran. The main goal is to explain the internal contexts that underlie this war (such as worldliness, division, and disobedience to religious leadership), the enemy’s methods (including rumor-mongering, de-religiousization, and the spread of prostitution), and to present Quranic strategies for countering it. Considering verses such as “وَ الْفِتْنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ”, soft war is considered more dangerous than hard war due to its profound impact on the faith and unity of society, and its recognition is essential for preserving Islamic identity. Using a descriptive-analytical method and citing verses of the Quran and authoritative interpretations, the findings show that the enemy uses contexts such as: confusion between right and wrong, worldliness, and internal division. And it uses methods such as: distorting religious concepts, spreading rumors, sowing discord, and promoting prostitution to create soft war. By identifying internal vulnerabilities and the enemy's methods, the Quran emphasizes strengthening faith, unity, vigilance, avoiding friendship with enemies, piety and patience as a protective shield, researching news, and comprehensive preparation as the basis for confrontation.
