Abstract :
In knowledge based economy, the most successful enterprises are the ones who efficiently utilize their intangible knowledge capital. It is also considering that the term "Knowledge based enterprises" refers to enterprises that use their knowledge capital in order to compete against one another. In knowledge based view, profit is the result of commercialization of new ideas and innovations. In this respect, managers of knowledge based enterprises realize that their knowledge capital extent of their enterprises play a vital role in their business continuance. However, in practice managers usually are not aware of the value of knowledge capital or do not know how to measure it. Moreover, Knowledge capital analysis is not considered in the annual reports and balance sheets, leading complications for the managers to estimate its quantity and quality. It is also considering that the issue has also international importance in addition to its obvious internal significance. According to the latest studies, the major challenge that knowledge based enterprises (especially new born enterprises) face in the resent years has been the requirement to attract financial resources. Moreover, since most of the results and consequences of knowledge based enterprises are intangible knowledge outcomes, the requirement of communication with stakeholders and investors emphasizes the need of external knowledge capital reporting. In this respect, modeling and involving a good arrangement for reporting knowledge capital seems to be essential. The current paper includes a practical structure for reporting knowledge capital in knowledge based enterprises, using the ARC model
