Abstract :
Skinner and Tabatabai as two prominent thinker on the history of ideas focused on the West and Iran are seeking to identify the origins of the tradition are thinking. Although both have the same purpose and research activities are similar in appearance but the basic difference between them. Consequently, it is clear that the fruits of their labor dispute. Skinner reviews the history of ideas with a deep belief in the history and negate the general opinion with regard to intentionality and intentions of the author examines the historical context And Tabatabai in any research activity , the dream of achieving modernity، dreamed that authors evaluated with respect to this issue. Finally, for reasons not fulfilled that dream. alas the decline of the concept is in Iran. However, in the first place many similarities between Skinner and Tabatabai reviews on there way but using the comparative method can be realized that there are fundamental differences in their work .In this study is to look at the use of comparative philosophy that bases its main ideas is to compare these two thoughtful note .
