The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of Islamic lifestyle adherence, marital intimacy and attitude towards infidelity in predicting marital commitment of married women in Isfahan. This is a descriptive-analytical study in the field of correlation and regression studies. The statistical population includes all married women of Isfahan city with at least 2 years and up to 3 years of marriage in winter of 1397. Using the available sampling method, 39 married women were selected and the Kaviani Islamic Lifestyle Questionnaire (ILST), Marital Intimacy Needs (Bagarozzi,2014) , Mark Wattley's Infidelity Attitude (2006) and Adams & Jones Marital Commitment (DCI) were used. Data were analyzed using SPSS-24 software and simultaneous regression. The results showed that between Islamic lifestyle and marital intimacy (r = 0/296 and sig = 0/067), Islamic lifestyle and marital commitment (r = 0/47 and sig = 0/003), marital intimacy and marital commitment (r = 0/688, Sig = 0.000), There was a significant positive relationship (P <0.01) and also between the Islamic lifestyle and attitude to infidelity (r = -0/37 and sig=0/021 ), Marital intimacy, and attitude to infidelity (r = -0/396 and sig=0/013 )and attitude to infidelity and marital commitment (r = -0/443 and sig=0/005 ) have a significant negative relationship (P <0.01). The results of regression analysis showed that the three variables of an Islamic lifestyle, marital intimacy and attitude to infidelity, can explain 1% of the variance in marital commitment (P <0.01). In addition to the Islamic lifestyle, marital intimacy (Sig = 0.000 and Sig = 0.042) had a significant relationship with marital commitment, and the magnitude of this effect is (Beta = 0.257 and Beta = 0/562). A: It can be said that adherence to a lifestyle based on Islamic teachings is also related to increasing marital intimacy and improving attitudes to infidelity and marital commitment. The purpose of this study was to pre-dict intimate attitudes and marital happiness based on self- compassion and communication skills in married female students. The research method was descriptive and of correlational type. The statistical population of this study consisted of all married students of Payame Noor Uni-versity of Talesh in the second half of the aca-demic year of 2019- 2020. Among them, a sample of 210 students were selected by available sampling method who completed the Self-Compassion Scale Short Form (SCS-SF), Communication Skills Test-Revised (CSTR), Intimate Attitude Scale (IAS(, and Marital Happiness Scale (MHS). Data were analyzed using descriptive indices, statistical methods of Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise regression analysis. The results showed that the listening skills, communication with determi-nation, and insight into the communication process were able to predict sincere attitude, and explained 32% of the changes in this variable. Also, ability to receive and send messages, self-compassion, listening, emotional control, and assertiveness, predicted 63% of the marital happiness variable (P<0.01). Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that communication skills and self-compassion are related to the marital intimacy and happiness of married students and are able to predict them. Self-esteem is considered as an internal attitude towards oneself and the determining factor of human behavior in the personal and social context, including marital relations and intimacy. The purpose of this study was to compare the marital intimacy of couples with fragile, damaged and secure self-esteem. The method of this research was causal-comparative. In order to carry out this research, 176 married men and women in Tehran were selected using convenience sampling and were asked to use Walker and Thompson's marital intimacy questionnaires (1983), Rosenberg's self-esteem scale (1965) and Nutin's Name Initial Preferences Task (1985) answered. Then, according to their explicit and implicit self-esteem scores, they were placed in one of three research groups, i.e., fragile, damaged, and secure self-esteem. Finally, the data was analyzed using the statistical method of one-way analysis of variance. The results of comparing the average difference of marital intimacy in three self-esteem groups showed that there is a significant difference between the fragile self-esteem group and the two groups of damaged self-esteem and secure self-esteem with a significance level of less than 0.01. In general, the results of this research showed that more marital intimacy is observed in married people with fragile self-esteem compared to the other two groups. It is suggested that more research be done to confirm and explain this finding more precisely. Manuscript profile
