The aim of this study was to determine the psychometric indicators of the university academic resilience questionnaire in a sample of Iranian students. In this study, 283 undergraduate students were selected by cluster random sampling and completed the academic resilience and academic self-efficacy questionnaires. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to determine the structure of the questionnaire. The results of confirmatory factor analysis revealed that the modified model has a favorable fit compared to the original model. In such a way that the fit indices are in the appropriate range. In addition, Cronbach's alpha were used to evaluate the reliability of the instrument using the internal consistency method. Accordingly, internal consistency in the whole sample for each of subscales indicates the optimal reliability of the tool. In addition, the convergence validity was confirmed by the academic self-efficacy questionnaire. Finally, the research findings revealed that the factor structure of the university academic resilience questionnaire has a good fit and can be used as a valid tool in measuring the dimensions of students' academic resilience. The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between academic resilience (AR) and academic engagement (AE) with the mediating role of emotional self-regulation (ESR). The study was descriptive - correlational, and the participants were 11th-12th grade boy students (n=22), studying either mathematics or life sciences, in the academic year 2018-19 in Tehran. The participants were selected by using the convenience sampling method. The data was collected by the Rio and Tseng Academic Engagement Scale (AES), the Samuels Academic Resilience Inventory (ARI), and the Grass and John Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ). The results of the path analysis method showed a significant relationship (P≤0.01) between AR-AE, AR-ESR, as well as AE- ESR. The results also indicated that AR (P≤0.001) and ESR (P≤0.01) can predict AE. Therefore, it can be concluded that AR improvement with ESR mediation will result in more academic engagement in students. Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between of academic burnout and academic conflict with the mediating role of academic resilience. The research applied in terms of purpose and method was descriptive, correlational one. The statistical population of the study included all female high school students in Behshahr in the number of 2110. The statistical sample was 325 people using Krejcie and Morgan table, and stratified random sampling according to educational level. The instruments for collecting data were Questionnaires of Salanova & Schiofli Academic Burnout (2007), Rio Academic Conflict (2013) & Samuel's Academic Resilience (2004) Questionnaire. The collected data was used for analyzed by Structural equation modeling using the partial least squares method (PLS). The results of this study showed that there is a significant relationship between academic burnout and academic resilience with academic conflict. 78.1% of academic conflict and 51.3% of academic resilience is explained by academic burnout. And the academic resilience variable has a mediator effect on the relationship between academic burnout and academic conflict. Fit indices indicate that the proposed model is an appropriate fit. The current research was correlational research and the aim of this study was to determine the relationship between social-emotional competence and academic resilience, considering the mediating role of academic self-efficacy and hope in a sample of Iranian students. In this study, 283 humanities science students were selected by cluster random sampling. The variables were measured using the questionnaires of social-emotional competence (Zoe and E, 2012), Cassidy academic resilience (2016), academic self-efficacy (Jamali et al., 2013) and Schneider hope (2000). Statistical analysis of data was performed using AMOS software and path analysis method. The results of path analysis showed that the theoretical model has a good fit with the data. In addition, there is a significant positive relationship between social-emotional competence with resilience (r = 0.36), academic self-efficacy (r = 0.53) and hope (r = 0.47) with academic resilience. The mediating role of academic self-efficacy and hope in the relationship between these two variables was also confirmed. The perspective of this study is to create a basis for experimental research in line with research variables to examine the effectiveness of interventions based on social-emotional competence on academic resilience by considering the moderating variables. parenting literacy is a new model in upbringing sciences and educational management that parents can support their children in various matters by improving their knowledge and skills, and parents have the greatest social influence on their children even beyond teachers and schools. This study examines the relationship between parental literacy and academic resilience with the mediation of responsibility among secondary school students in Karaj city. The method of this research is multivariate correlation and structural equation type. In total, 389 participants, students and 389 of their mothers, were selected by random stratified cluster sampling method based on gender in the academic year of 1401-1400, and they were asked to fill in the Alabama Parents' Literacy Questionnaires (Frick,1996), the responsibility of Nemati teenagers (1378), academic resilience of Samuels (2008) and the Saleh i’s academic progress questionnaire (2014) answered. The findings showed that parental literacy and its components have a direct effect on academic reflection and responsibility(p<0.05). Responsibility has a direct effect on academic resilience(p<0.05). parenting literacy has an indirect effect on academic resilience and academic progress through the mediation of responsibility(p<0.05), so it can be concluded that parenting literacy and its components can increase responsibility in students Manuscript profile
