        The purpose of this study was to design a sustainable business ethics model based on the knowledge of academic experts using Demetel model. In the first step, the 14 key components that shape the business ethics model of research background (attachment and interest to work, perseverance and seriousness at work , Healthy and human relationships at work, spirit of teamwork and participation in work, decisiveness and responsibility, behavior Fair and equitable, non-abuse of position, self-sacrifice, commitment and loyalty, employing skills and expertise, civic-mindedness, respect for ethics, accountability and rule of law, transparency were identified. In the second step, they were put in a closed-ended questionnaire based on the 7-point Likert scale and the questionnaire was evaluated by 10 experts to determine their opinion on the importance of these components in business ethics. Before analyzing the collected data, the content validity and reliability of the questionnaire were assured. A questionnaire tailored to DEMATEL technique was developed to explore causal relationships among the components and was provided to the experts. Demetel's results showed that the most influential and fundamental component of business ethics (attachment and interest in work, loyalty, and misuse of position) is the most influential. In addition to these components, the components of firmness and responsibility and healthy human relationships at work were identified in the model of the most influential components. The component of healthy and human relationships is the most important factor and is central to the components. Manuscript profile
