Recent expansions of web demands for more capable information retrieval systems that more accurately address the users' information needs. Weighting the words and terms in documents plays an important role in any information retrieval system. Various methods for weighting the words are proposed, however, it is not straightforward to assert which one is more effective than the others. In this paper, we have proposed a method that calculates the weights of the terms in documents and queries as interval numbers. The interval numbers are derived by aggregating the crisp weights that are calculated by exploiting the existing weighting methods. The proposed method, calculates an interval number as the overall relevancy of each document with the given query. We have discussed three approaches for ranking the interval relevancy numbers. In the experiments we have conducted on Cranfield and Medline datasets, we have studied the effects of weight normalization, use of variations of term and document frequency and have shown that appropriate selection of basic term weighting methods in conjunction with their aggregation into an interval number would considerably improve the information retrieval performance. Through appropriate selection of basic weighting methods we have reached the MAP of 0.43323 and 0.54580 on the datasets, respectively. Obtained results show that he proposed method, outperforms the use of any single basic weighting method and other existing complicated weighting methods. Manuscript profile

The discussion of the miracle of the Qur'an is one of the most important concerns of Qur'anic scholars, and while publishing many works, many horizons of it remain unknown. The present article is entitled Examples of Numerical Miracles of the Qur'an, which refers to the research in the last century based on modern sciences such as mathematics and computer, which aims to achieve a general conclusion on the accuracy of this theory. The method of collecting research is descriptive-analytical and library, which has been compiled using specialized books and journals of Quranic sciences and software. Numerical miracle is an amazing subject that is not limited to a specific number with many problems, because each person or group, depending on their interest, can criterion the desired number and achieve results. There are many criticisms such as the use of the current calligraphy of the Qur'an, human ability to numerical inconsistency, and so on. The result of the research is that it is clearly visible in the results of the scattering of votes, so the application of miracles to this theory is not correct and it can be considered as a surprise in proportion of numbers, not as one of the inviolable aspects for which convincing reasons are presented. Nowadays in the markets competitive atmosphere, the companies aren’t able to provide their needs. So they prefer to use supply chain. Selecting the suppliers is introduced as a multi attribute decision making (MADM) problem. The current paper tries to solve this problem based on three parameter interval grey numbers. So, within use of AHP-Bull’s eye integration weighting method, this paper wants to weigh attributes and ranks alternatives by PAF (Projection Attribute Function) method. at the end, in order to show the ability of this method, the robustness of this method is tested in front of SAW method (that is one of the celebrated method). Performance evaluation is a fundamental necessity in facing and coping with changes and continuous improvement activities. Insurance companies to determine your current position and survive and thrive in today's competitive world must continually methods and models to assess and improve their performance and activities of the organization are ongoing. The aim of this study is to evaluate the performance of insurance companies based on Shannon's weighting entropy and the ranking method is done according to grey VIKOR technique address. The performance evaluation is conducted based on the Balanced Score card method. Moreover, instead of using the linguistic variables and absolute numbers we will use grey numbers Tuesday parameterization. Grey VIKOR is a one of the most developed approaches of multi-criteria decision making under uncertainty conditions. Furthermore, the actual weights based on the concept of objective to regulate the mental weights of Shannon entropy can be used by the decision-makers. The current study has been worked on five insurance companies. According to the data gathered from the questioners the quantity value of the insurance companies has been calculated based on the final weights resulted from Shannon's weighting entropy and the grey VIKOR method. The results revealed that MELLAT insurance company obtained the highest value of (0.9334) and the lowest value (0) belongs to Dana insurance company. Accordingly, Dana Insurance is ranked in the first position, Iran Insurance the second, Alborz Insurance the third, Asia Insurance the fourth and MELLAT insurance the fifth. Manuscript profile
