        Recent study aims to provide a model for Total Rewards for knowledge workers of small and medium enterprises. Compensation in this research is explained based on the human capital approach and the synthesis of research literature in four dimensions: pay, benefits, work environment and Learning and development. The present study was carried out with a mixed approach. An interview method used to develop the model in the qualitative study. Then a structural equation modeling approach is used to verify the model. Qualitative data analyzed using content analysis and a confirmatory factor analysis technique utilized in quantitative verification study. Findings showed that pay, development and growth, work environment and benefits are respectively have the most explanation in the model. Based on the findings of the research, we presented executive implications and further research topics for small and medium business environment. Manuscript profile

        In the recent years, importance and the role of small and medium enterprises was on the increase in industrial and developing countries. With the appearance of modern technology in the production and communications, some transitions have been created in the ways of production, distribution and organizational structure of agencies, and in this regard the importance of small and medium units has been found an upward movement. Developed countries and recently developed ones, have always applied special policies and strategies for improvement of small and medium industries and facilitating of enterprises entrance in the economical arena. They have applied those strategies for the competitions guarantee in the free market and restraint of big companies monopolization. Networking is referred to groups of enterprises which have cooperation in the special project with each other, and are using their own specialties for overcoming the usual and common difficulties, and gaining access to better efficiency. Networks are propounded in the universal trading subjects as a strong situation and condition, and have considered in the modern trading realm since 90s. Its importance as assistance in the creation of innovations in small and medium enterprises has been considered increasingly. Because small and medium enterprises have similar bonds, difficulties and opportunities, so they are providing the same networking policy strategy, the suitable networking facilities that are proportional with necessities and requirements of small and medium enterprises. Furthermore, clustering and networking of small and medium enterprises are considered as an important informational source and ideas creation for the process and productions innovations. On the other hand, the related small and medium enterprises can have the continual research and development, in which total sum of expenses is less than the research and developments expenses of each one solitarily and separately. In addition, products development, processs recovery, common consultation and coordination in the processs recovery of small and medium enterprises, which have been located in the networking discipline, are more fruitful than the processing and consultation of the distinct small and medium enterprises.Adoption of standard certificates and their related codes for the networking organizations is more accessible and cheaper. Also the instructional networks are providing this possibility, for accessing to the continual educational sources, for all small and medium enterprises in the networks. And finally advantages which obtained from the formation of small and medium enterprises networks can fulfill their needs in relation to their entrance to the universal competition arena. In this essay it was tried to consider the role of research and development networking among the small and medium enterprises and study the opportunities and problems which obtained from that. Furthermore, we will discuss the advantages and benefits of clustering and networking among the small and medium enterprises. The creation of values which obtained from research and development networking in the success and development of small and medium enterprises in the competition market will be analyzed too.         Success Factors in Knowledge Management (KM) capability in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have less been systematically investigated. Existing studies have derived their CSFs from large companies' perspectives and have not considered the needs of small businesses. In this article, existing studies on Knowledge Management capability success factors were reviewed and their limitations were identified. By integrating insights drawn from these studies, the authors proposed a set of 11 CSFs which is believed to be more suitable for SMEs. An empirical assessment was conducted to evaluate the extent of success of proposed propositions using experts’ opinions. The overall results from the empirical assessment were positive, thus reflecting the appropriateness of the proposed success factors. The set of success factors can act as a list of items for SMEs to address when adopting KM. However it can provide a common language for managers to discuss and study the factors crucial for the success of KM in SMEs. The results show that adequate and suitable leadership and management supports, use of Information Technology, bussiness strategies, motivation, resource availability, personnel education, human resource management, performance assessment measures, infrastructures and Knowledge Management processes can increase Knowledge Management capability in small firms. One of these competitive advantages is the innovativeness of business products, which is a fundamental and inseparable indicator of the concept of entrepreneurship; Therefore, paying attention to digital entrepreneurship in businesses in the current situation will play a significant role in the economic development of societies; Therefore, the purpose of this study is to Providing a pattern of digital entrepreneurship in small and medium companies in South Khorasan province. This research is a descriptive, survey and correlational research, and in terms of classification based on results and application, it is an applied research. The statistical population of questionnaire 1 consists of experts of companies in Birjand Industrial Town. In order to prioritize the dimensions, components and indicators of the model, Questionnaire was designed that to use hierarchical analysis, senior managers of companies in Birjand Industrial Park were selected as the statistical population. To analyze the data, confirmatory factor analysis and modeling of structural equations with Smart pls software and in order to prioritize the dimensions and components, the method of hierarchical analysis using Expert choice software has been used. The results show that all model indicators affect small and medium enterprises in South Khorasan province.         In today's dynamic environment, having appropriate strategies alone is not enough for organizations and they must be able to coordinate with their environment. It is small and medium companies. This study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive and survey in terms of data collection method. A questionnaire based on standard questionnaires was used to collect data. The statistical population of the research was the managers of small and medium-sized knowledge-based companies in Khorasan Razavi province, which had more than 316 knowledge-based companies operating in Khorasan Razavi province. Based on Cochran's formula, 320 people were considered as samples and completed the questionnaire. Data analysis for both the direct relationship model and the moderator model was done using the structural equation modeling method in Lisrel software. The obtained results showed that entrepreneurial orientation has an effect on company performance and innovation speed. Also, the mediating role of innovation speed in the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and performance was confirmed.
