The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of sexual function in the relationship between sexual schemas and psychological well-being in married women. The descriptive research method was a constraint type which was performed using structural equation modelling method. The statistical population included married women from Shiraz. Using the available sampling method, 150 people were selected. Assessment tools included women's sexual performance index questionnaires (Rosen et al., 2000), sexual schema (Anderson and Sirvanowski, 1994), and psychological well-being (Reef, 1995). The data collected were analyzed in two descriptive levels (using mean, standard deviation) and inferential (using correlation coefficient and structural equation modelling with amos-21 software). The results showed that passionate-romantic and explicit-comfortable schemas had a positive and significant relationship and shy-cautious schemas had a negative and significant relationship with psychological well-being in married women. Sexual function was also a positive and significant predictor of psychological well-being. In addition, the results indicated that sexual function was able to mediate between passionate and romantic schemas and psychological well-being. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that sexual schemas both directly and through sexual function can affect the psychological well-being of married women. Manuscript profile

The aim of this study was to investigate the structural relationship between early maladaptive schemas, self-differentiation and sexual function with the tendency to extramarital relationships. The present study was a descriptive-correlational. The statistical population consisted of all married female students of Gilan university, Iran, in the academic year 2017-2018.Considering the size of the population, 280 students were selected as sample through multistage cluster sampling. For analysis of data, descriptive and inferential statistics, Sobel test, structural equation and SPSS and Amos softwares were used. The results showed that the early maladaptive schemata, self- differentiation and sexual function affect on extramarital relations. According to the results, three variables, the early maladaptive schemata, self- differentiation and Sexual function, in sequence with(t=2/48, β=20), (t=5/68, β=-0/43), (t=2/51, β=-0/16) have direct relation with extera marital relationship proneness and affect on. The results also showed that the early maladaptive schemata by mediation of self- differentiation have indirect effect(t=4/19, β=0/21) and by mediation of Sexual function don’t have indirect effect(t=0/52, β=0/01) on extera marital relationship proneness. So, the indirect relationship of the early maladaptive schemata by mediation of self- differentiation were confirmed and the other were rejected (p>0.05). Results showed that the early maladaptive schemata, self- differentiation and Sexual function has impact on the initiation of treachery phenomenon. Manuscript profile

Mental health plays a fundamental role in individuals' living better lives, their activity efficiency, and their ability to function effectively in their personal life. This study aimed to predict mental health based on the sexual function of married women. This research is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population included all married women in Bavanat city, from which 130 married women were selected as the sample size by the available sampling method. Keys Mental Health Questionnaire (2002) and Rosen Sexual Function Questionnaire (2000) were used to collect data. Pearson correlation coefficient and regression coefficient were used to analyze the data. The findings showed that a significant positive relationship between mental health and sexual function of married women and the components of desire and satisfaction have a higher power in predicting mental healthThe results showed that the better married women are in marital relationships, the more mental health they have. Therefore, good sexual performance can affect women's mental health. In addition to its effect on mental health and community health, A study on the sexual knowledge of married women showed that its effects lead to the stability and cohesion of the family and married life and reduce divorce in society Manuscript profile

<p>This study was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between body image and sexual function and marital adjustment with the mediating role of mental health in married women of Tehran. The statistical population of the research was formed by all the married women of Tehran city in 1400-1401.From statistical population, 406 people were selected and studied as available sampling. To collect the data, Bron et al.'s Body Image Questionnaires (MBSRQ), Rosen et al.'s Women's Sexual Function (FSFI), Goldenberg's Mental Health (GHQ-28) and Graham B. Spanier's Marital Adjustment Questionnaire (DAS) were used. After collecting and extracting the data, the structural equation modeling method was used to test the hypotheses of the current research. In this research, AMOS software version 25 and SPSS version 24 were used. The results showed that:Body image had a positive and significand direct effect on sexual function (p&lt;0/05, &beta;=0/31) and marital adjustment (p&lt;0/01, &beta;=0/117). mental health had a negative and significant direct effect on sexual function (p&lt;0/01, &beta;=-0/37) and also on marital adjustment (p&lt;0/01, &beta;=-0/548). mental health had a positively and significantly mediates the indirect effect of body image on sexual function (p&lt;0/01, &beta;=0/111) as well as the indirect effect of body image on marital adjustment (p&lt;0/01, &beta;=0/164). In general, the results showed that body image had an effect on sexual function and marital adjustment both directly and through the mediation of mental health &ndash; it fits with the collected data.</p> Manuscript profile
