        The purpose of the present study was conceptualizing college students' Academic identity and identifying the components of it as one of the specific types of the identity, considering the socio-cultural structure and the context of higher education in Iranian society. To achieve this goal, a qualitative research method was used. Participants included 56 individuals (25 male students and 31 female students) who were studying in the fourth to sixth semesters of Ardakan University and sixth to eighth grade M.D. in medical and dentistry at the medical University of Shahid Sadoughi in Yazd. Focus groups were used for collecting data. In two universities, five focus groups were formed. The results of the theoretical coding showed that students' identity was composed of five components: academic commitment, academic self-Concept, future thinking, belonging to university and personal agency, influenced by factors such as basic psychological needs and leads to Numerous concequences such as change in academic self-efficacy and subjective well-being.         Abstract The aim of the study was to explain the effect of parents' education on the self-concept of high school students by evaluating the mediating role of the quality of parent-child relationship. The statistical population of high school students was in the academic year of 1996-97 in Tehran. they had. Questionnaire of the Socio-Economic Movement Database (2016) Questionnaire for evaluating the parent-child relationship between Fine, Morland and Schoubel (1983), Self-concept questionnaire Sarasut (1957). Structural equation modeling was used for analysis. The results showed that the overall effect of father's education (P <0.05, β = 0.163) and maternal education (P <0.05, β = 0.270) on children's self-concept is positive and significant. The direct level of paternal education (P <0.01, β = 0.069) is positive and significant on children's self-concept. Also, the effect of paternal-child relationship quality (P <0.01, β = 0.31) and the quality of mother-child relationship - The child (P <0.01, β = 0.163) has a positive and significant effect on the self-concept of the children. Children are positive and significant at the level of 0.01, and the quality of the father-child relationship, unlike the quality of the mother-child relationship, mediates the effect of education on students' self-concept.         The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of academic self-concept in the relationship between academic hope and counterproductive academic behavior. The present study was a correlational study using structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the study was all high school students in Dorodzan region in the academic year 1398-99. Participants were 299 students (167 girls and 132 boys) who were selected by cluster random sampling method and They completed the scales of academic hope (Khormaei & Kamari, 2017), counterproductive academic behavior (Rimkus, 2012) and academic self-concept checklist (Chen and Thompson, 2004). Structural equation modeling was used to answer the research hypotheses. The results showed that academic hope, both directly and indirectly and through academic self-concept, had a negative effect on counterproductive academic behavior. Overall, the findings of this study indicate the importance of paying attention to the role of academic hope and academic self-concept in reducing students' counterproductive academic behavior.         In order to explain the mediating role of the quality of parent-child relationship between parents’ education on the self-concept of 391 students (195 girls and 195 boys), the statistical population of high school students in Tehran were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling. The study answered a questionnaire consisting of socioeconomic status, parent-child relationship assessment questionnaire and self-concept questionnaire. In this Peugeot hash, structural equation modeling method was used to analyze the data. The results showed that the total effect of father education (p<0.05, β =0.163) and mother education (p<0.05, β= 0.270) on children’s self-concept was positive and significant. The direct level of father education (p<0.01, β= 0.069) on children ‘s self-concept is positive and significant. Also, the effect of father-child relationship quality (p<0.01, β = 0.310) and mother-child relationship quality - Child (p<0.01, β= 0.163) has a positive and significant effect on the self-concept of children. Indirect effect of father’s education (p<0.01, β= 0.069) as opposed to indirect effect of mother’s education on self-concept Children are positive and significant at the level of 0.01, and the quality of the father-child relationship, unlike the quality of the mother-child relationship, mediates the effect of education on students’ self-concept.         Individual self-concept explains and predicts different facets of consumer behavior. This study examined the effects of tourist self-concept on their intention to recommend destination, travel satisfaction and travel experience. The population of this study includes all tourists who were visiting Chalidarreh dam, among them 308 was selected randomly as the research sample. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire and were analyzed by structural equation modeling and LISREL software. The results show, the perception of travel experience, facilitates the relationship between ideal self-concept and travel satisfaction of tourists. Also the travel satisfaction, facilitates the relationship between perceived experience of travel and the intention to recommend tourist destination. The results of this study can improve the perception of managers which will provide a better understanding of tourist behavior and policy making in the field of tourism marketing. Manuscript profile

        The present study aimed to compare irrational beliefs, self-concept, and spiritual well-being in divorced and normal women. This research was causal-comparative. The statistical population was all divorced women covered by the welfare organization and ordinary women of Shiraz city. The sample group consisted of 120 people in two groups (60 divorced women and 60 normal women). The available sampling method was used to determine the sample size in the group of divorced women. The purposeful method was used for normal women to compare the group of normal women with divorced women. Jones' irrational beliefs questionnaire, Rogers' self-concept questionnaire, Polotzin's and Ellison's spiritual well-being questionnaire, were analyzed. The collected data were evaluated at two levels (descriptive statistics and inferential statistics). At the level of statistics, mean and standard deviation were used, and at the level of inferential statistics, multivariate analysis of variance has used. The result showed that there is a significant difference between irrational beliefs, self-concept, and spiritual well-being in divorced and normal women. Irrational beliefs in women with a history of divorce are higher than in normal women, and the mean of self-concept variables and spiritual well-being in women with a history of divorce is lower than in normal women. The average of irrational beliefs and their dimensions (including helplessness against change, the expectation of approval from others, problem avoidance, and emotional irresponsibility) are higher in women with a history of divorce than in normal women. There is a significant difference between self-concept in women with a history of divorce and normal women. The average spiritual well-being and its dimensions (existential health and religious health) are lower in women with a history of divorce than in normal women. Based on the results, on the need to pay attention to the irrational beliefs of self-concept and spiritual well-being, it is suggested that these structures be implemented in pre-marriage training classes to prevent the occurrence of problems and increase people's awareness of the role of these variables in joint life.         Social anxiety disorder refers to an overt and persistent fear of social or functional situations. Self-concept can play a significant role in explaining social anxiety. This study aimed to determine the mediating role of self-compassion in the relationship between self-concept and social anxiety of female students of the Isfahan University of Technology. The present study indicated a correlation scheme and the method of structural equations was used based on the partial least squares approach. A sample of 300 female students from the Isfahan University of Technology was selected by voluntary sampling method. The Nef Self-Compassion Scale, Beck, et al.'s (1990) Self-Esteem Scale, and Connor et al.'s (2000) Social Anxiety Inventory were used to collect data. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS software version 25 and AMOS version 22. The results showed that compassion reduces social anxiety by 22.3% of the path between self-concept and social anxiety. In addition, self-compassion has a minor mediating role in the relationship between self-concept and social anxiety (p <0.05). Self-compassion has a minor mediating role in the social anxiety of female students (p <0.05). Self-concept has a negative effect on students' social anxiety (p <0.05). Finally, the importance of self-concept in explaining social anxiety and self-compassion has a mediating role between self-concept and social anxiety. Manuscript profile

        The aim of this study was to investigate the psychometric properties of Benjamin`s (1974) Structural Analysis of Social Behavior (SASB) questionnaire introject surface (self-concept) in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. The study participants were 324 students (185 girls and 139 boys) who were studying in the second semester of 2023 academic year, and completed Benjamin`s (1974) Structural Analysis of Social Behavior (SASB) questionnaire introject surfase (self-concept), Beck Depression Inventory-II (1996), Beck Anxiety Inventory (1988) and Beck Suicide Scale Ideation (1988). The Data were analyzed using correlation coefficient, Cronbach`s alpha coefficient, and confirmatory factor analysis in SPSS-26 and AMOS-25 software. The results show the reliability of this questionnaire through Cronbach's alpha coefficient and Spearman's and Guttman's correlation coefficients in the split-half method, as well as its validity through the convergent coefficients of the dimensions of this questionnaire with other valid tests and finally the construct validity through confirmatory factor analysis confirmed. In general, it can be concluded that Benjamin`s SASB-self-concept (Introject) questionnaire has very good reliability and validity in Iranian students. Manuscript profile
