Developing and increasing importance of Coding theory has proven to be very useful in digital communications. Coding theory is concerned with the transmission of data across noisy channels. This makes error detection and error correction very important. The minimum Hamming distance plays such a role in transmission efficiency. In this short paper we prove that in a ciphertext space having more than two code words, the Hamming distance between at least two code words is even. In other words we prove that there do not exist three different binary strings with odd Hamming distance. Manuscript profile

Sometimes speakers pause in a part of their speech or repeat one of their saying or word in daily conversations due to some reason or even interrupt their speech. These behaviors which are a specific kind of correction are named self-repair. The study identifies different kinds of self-repairs and their status in succession of alternations in Persian daily conversations and real occurrence frequency of every one of self-repairs and also their concomitant Lexical-initiations and Non-lexical-initiations. The study involves 254 sentences or phrases which have repairable elements and have been collected from different environments and with different subjects during one month of 1392/2013. Findings show that self-repairs and their status in Persian daily conversations are similar with results claimed by “Shegloff and colleagues” (1977) about English Language. It is also shown that the frequency of self-initiated self-repair is more than other kinds of self-repair in Persian daily conversation. Manuscript profile

In this paper, a new method for determining the number of coherent/correlated signals in the presence of colored noise is proposed which is based on the Eigen Increment Threshold (EIT) method. First, we present a new approach which combines EIT criterion and eigenvalue correction. The simulation results show that the new method estimates the number of noncoherent signals in the presence of colored noise with higher detection probability respect to MDL, AIC, EGM and conventional EIT. In addition, to apply the proposed EIT algorithm to detect the number of sources in the case of coherent and/or correlated sources, a spatial smoothing preprocessing is added. In this case, simulation results show 100% detection probability for signal to noise ratios greater than -5dB. Final version of the proposed EIT-based method is a simple and efficient way to increase the detection probability of EIT method in the presence of colored noise considering either coherent/correlated or noncoherent sources. The arithmetic units are the most essential in digital circuits’ construct, and the enhancement of their operation would optimize the whole digital system. Among them, multipliers are the most important operational units, used in a wide range of digital systems such as telecommunication signal processing, embedded systems and mobile. The main drawback of a multiplication unit is its high computational load, which leads to considerable power consumption and silicon area. This also reduces the speed that negatively affects the digital host functionality. Estimating arithmetic is a new branch of computer arithmetic implemented by discarding or manipulating a portion of arithmetic circuits and/or intermediate computations. Applying estimated arithmetic in arithmetic units would improve the speed, power consumption and the implementation area by sacrificing a slight amount of result accuracy. An estimated truncated floating-point multiplier for single precision operands which is capable of compensating the errors to a desired level by applying the least significant columns of the partial product matrix is developed and analyzed in this article. These errors are caused by removing a number of carry digits in the partial product matrix that have a direct contribution in rounding the floating-point numbers. The evaluation results indicate that the proposed method improves speed, accuracy and silicon area in comparison to those of the common truncated multiplication methods. Manuscript profile

This paper proposes a new automatic image enhancement method by improving the image dynamic range. The improvement is performed via modifying the Gamma value of pixels in the image. Gamma distortion in an image is due to the technical limitations in the imaging device, and impose a nonlinear effect. The severity of distortion in an image varies depends on the texture and depth of the objects. The proposed method locally estimates the Gamma values in an image. In this method, the image is initially segmented using a pixon-based approach. Pixels in each segment have similar characteristics in terms of the need for Gamma correction. Then the Gamma value for each segment is estimated by minimizing the homogeneity of co-occurrence matrix. This feature can represent image details. The minimum value of this feature in a segment shows maximum details of the segment. The quality of an image is improved once more details are presented in the image via Gamma correction. In this study, it is shown that the proposed method performs well in improving the quality of images. Subjective and objective image quality assessments performed in this study attest the superiority of the proposed method compared to the existing methods in image quality enhancement. No economic movement and especially jihadist ethics in the religious epistemic system can not be successful unless it is the path, path, and destination of the divine, and based on morality. By looking at the Holy Qur'an, we see the importance of the discussions of economic ethics in the religion of Islam in such a way that the Almighty God made a significant portion of this great and humane book to various macro and sometimes microeconomic debates such as Halal, Haram, Makruh , Mustahab, divestiture, divine test through the world, khums, zakat, buying, selling, renting and even economic operations such as hunting, fishing, places of honor, fishing harbors, farming, diving, shipping, livestock and ... dedicated. In this regard, we first briefly describe the jihad and the economy, then consider the Indicators of the Holy Quran and Nahj al-Balaghah for the realization of Islamic economics in a society, and then some of the strategies of economic ethics contained in the Holy Qur'an and Nahj al-Balaghah And also the results and the effects of Islamic economics in this article, although we look at our low income Manuscript profile

Juvenile delinquency is a form of declaration of incompatibility with the community and a sign of danger in the possibility of their survival in a criminal abduction. The main purpose of applying the guarantees of execution and punishment in dealing with juvenile delinquency is to reform, educate and reconcile them and, above all, seek criminal justice measures to rehabilitate and prepare the person for returning to society. Therefore, it seems that the imprisonment and punishment of liberation cannot be effective in achieving these goals and that violent and violent attacks can lead to a proper and incorrect bias in their behavioral system. As a result, alternative prison sentences for juvenile offenses, influenced by the teachings of restorative justice, will be more than anything else. Penalties that are imposed by the court, with the participation of the public and civil society in the community, with regard to the offense of commission, the personality and criminal record of the offender, the frequency of committing the crime, the situation of the victim and the effects of the commission of the crime. Measures such as periods of care, residence, maintenance at the end of the week, electronic surveillance, free public services and advocacy institutions such as postponement of the sentence, quash, suspension of prosecution, file archiving, exemption from punishment, criminal mediation, suspension Penalties, the semi-liberation system and probation freedoms allow the offender to compensate for the mistake of committing and harming the community and feeling responsible and efficient in society. Although it should be noted that excessive punishment for substitute imprisonment, regardless of the family context, environment of the life and economic conditions of an adolescent, is a kind of abandonment of his insecure circumstances in his life that led him to delinquency and now again It is in this environment that may result in serious and persistent criminal offenses; in such cases, the calm and discipline of keeping in the center of reform and education and training institutions are preferable to such actions. This paper examines the bases and types of alternatives to juvenile delinquency penalties and then explains the critical attitude of some enforcement instances and possible objections to the imposition of alternative prison sentences. Quantum telecommunication has received a lot of attention today by providing unconditional security because of the inherent nature of quantum channels based on the no-cloning theorem. In this mode of communication, first, the key is sent through a quantum channel that is resistant to eavesdropping, and then secure communication is established using the exchanged key. Due to the inevitability of noise, the received key needs to be distilled. One of the vital steps in key distillation is named key reconciliation which corrects the occurred errors in the key. Different solutions have been presented for this issue, with different efficiency and success rate. One of the most notable works is LDPC decoding which has higher efficiency compared to the others, but unfortunately, this method does not work well in the codes with a high rate. In this paper, we present an approach to correct the errors in the high rate LDPC code-based reconciliation algorithm. The proposed algorithm utilizes Integer Linear Programming to model the error correction problem to an optimization problem and solve it. Testing the proposed approach through simulation, we show it has high efficiency in high rate LDPC codes as well as a higher success rate compared with the LDPC decoding method - belief propagation – in a reasonable time. High voltage chargers are being used in the equipments such as electrical vehicles, uninterruptible power supplies and aircrafts. The converter introduced here is based on bi-directional boost topology. The output voltage of batteries set is larger than the input source voltage amplitude, and this converter can transfer the energy both from the source to the batteries bank and vice versa. Input source voltage is sine wave and the output voltage is DC. Both conversion of AC-to-DC and DC-to-DC is performed in one stage and the control scheme of switches is based on hysteric control method to achieve the unity power factor. One can use the electrical equations presented here to define the converter and EMC filter elements value. Finally, simulation results performed on a typical converter show the control method authenticity and effectiveness of the analyses presented here. Also some suggestion for the future works is proposed. Manuscript profile

Multiplication is one of the important computations required for different signal processing applications especially regarding voice and image. However, the multipliers as digital circuits are susceptible to different environmental effects such as noises. In this paper, a new approach is proposed for designing a 32-bit floating-point multiplier which can operate in two operational modes, normal and fault-tolerant, dependent to the environmental conditions. In the fault-tolerant mode, by reducing the normal precision and accepting a negligible error in the output, a portion of preliminary circuit is released which is used for redundant computations in order to detect or correct errors. This way, two multiplier architectures with error detection or correction capability are proposed that have a beneficial reliability against different types of permanent and transient faults. The implementation results show that in the fault-tolerant mode, maintaining 13 bits instead of 23 bits for the mantissa will be enough to achieve an error detecting multiplier, and maintaining 11 bits will be enough to achieve an error correcting multiplier with acceptable area and power overheads (from 12% to 26%) while their precisions are enough for most applications.
