: The present study was aimed to investigate predicting academic performance in English language, based on the components of Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale among Babol’s female senior high school students. The research was done using descriptive (correlational) method. 285 female students were selected through random cluster sampling as the research sample. The Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS), and students’ first semester scores in English as the measure for academic achievement were used. The results of the study revealed there were negative significant relationships between the components of English Language Classroom Anxiety Scale and academic achievement in English language. The results of regression analysis show that fear of negative evaluation; negative attitudes toward the English class, and Comm-unication apprehension can predict %60 of the academic achievement in English language. The objective of the current study is evaluating the precedent model (academic engagement) and the consequences (academic procrastination, absenteeism and academic performance) of academic buoyancy in high school students in Ilam province. This inquiry is a correlational study that with regards to the nature of the research and its objectives, the structural equation modeling method is used. The statistical population includes all 11th grade high school students in Ilam province and the research sample includes 625 subjects selected as cluster sampling. Data were collected using the Rio and Tseng (2011) Student Engagement Questionnaire, Martin & Marsh (2008) and Solomon & Roth Bloom (1984) academic procrastination questionnaires. Structural equation modeling was used to calculate the results. The model indices showed that the model is data fit. The results indicated that there is a direct positive and significant relationship between academic buoyancy and academic performance, academic engagement and academic buoyancy. There is also a direct negative and significant relationship between academic buoyancy and academic procrastination and students' absence from school, school absenteeism and academic performance. academic procrastination and academic performance. Other results of the study are that there is an indirect negative relationship between academic engagement and academic procrastination and absenteeism through academic mediation, and a positive and significant indirect relationship between academic achievement and academic performance through students' academic performance through academic procrastination. Also, absenteeism from school has a significant indirect relationship. Manuscript profile

The purpose of this research was the role of self-regulation (cognitive and meta-cognitive strategies) in the academic performance of third-year students of experimental sciences in Babol high schools. In this research, self-regulation (cognitive and meta-cognitive strategies) and academic performance are considered as criterion variables. The research sample included 150 female and male students of the third year of experimental sciences studying in Babol high schools in 1399-1400, who were selected using a multi-stage cluster sampling method. The results obtained in this research showed that in the whole sample, the role of self-regulation (cognitive and meta-cognitive strategies) and academic performance was 0.25 and 0.25, respectively. Regression was used to determine the contribution of each predictor variable in determining the criterion variable. The results of the analysis showed that self-regulation contributed to explaining the variance of academic performance. Self-esteem did not contribute to explaining the variance of academic performance. Manuscript profile

Ethnicity refers to a group that is distinguished from other social groups that have racial continuity and correlation with basic anatomical features such as religion, religion, language, customs and historical and cultural heritage. These factors cause a person to use them to establish a relationship with other ethnic groups or individuals and groups. Ethnicity has both subjective and objective components, which include: subjective interest and awareness of identity, belonging, common resources, Common interests, objective cultural commonalities in the language of the historical history of religion and the common land. Set against the backdrop of a politically motivated ethnic hatred between the northern region and the rest, this study shows the relationship between students' regions of origin and their academic performance in world higher education to help support students' appropriate support and healthy study habits. The thematic analysis of the researchers' data showed that students believe that effort is more important in academic performance regardless of the region of origin.
