Abstract :
Objective: The aim of this research is to prioritize the applications of Internet of Things in Iran's healthcare sector to achieve sustainable development. This article aims to investigate the development of Internet of Things technology in the field of health and treatment issues, in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development. Methodology: In order to collect and analyze the data, the theory development research strategy with the emergent approach was used. The studied community included experts in the field of Internet of Things, based on targeted sampling, theoretical saturation was achieved after conducting 20 semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was based on Strauss and Corbin coding processes. Conclusion: Internet of Things Technology is used in various fields of medicine, such as remote patient care system, emergency warning system, fitness programs, chronic diseases and elderly care. The analysis of research data shows that the implementation of Internet of Things to improve health and treatment will have a great effect on increasing the level of life satisfaction among citizens. In this regard, there are various applications of the Internet of Things in this field, which lead to more comfort and convenience for the elderly and increase their lifespan, and it corresponds to the social dimension of sustainable development.
