Abstract :
In today's world, pregnant women are faced with issues such as job-related stress, economic challenges, and changes in social relationships that may significantly impact their mental and physical health. This article examines the relationships between job-related stress, social relationships, and their effects on pregnant women, emphasizing the importance of this research for improving understanding of factors affecting the health of pregnant women and enhancing their conditions for the development and advancement of the country's population. This study, conducted with a group of pregnant women in Bushehr County through seven semi-structured interviews, revealed that pregnant women experience high levels of job-related stress, changes in social relationships, and psychological pressures. Detailed analysis indicates that psychological interventions, particularly social psychology, can play a role in reducing the negative effects of job-related stress on pregnant women. It appears that there is a significant relationship between job-related stress, social relationships, and their effects on pregnant women. These results underscore that proper stress management and strengthening social relationships can facilitate the improvement of the mental and physical health status of pregnant women and contribute to increasing the population growth index in Iran.
