The population included all the students of University of Mohaghegh Ardabili (N=13400), 244 of whom were selected by purposive sampling. In addition to the direct effect, anxiety sensitivity also affects acute stress indirectly through behavioral impulsivity. According to the amount obtained for the VAF statistic, it can be seen that 36% of the effect of anxiety sensitivity on acute stress can be explained through behavioral impulsivity. Scientific investigations and identification of psychological characteristics affecting the occurrence of acute stress symptoms are of great help to therapists in achieving treatment goals and reducing the symptoms of this disorder.
