کولیک به عنوان یکی از مهمترین بیماریها در اسب نیازمند مداخلات اورژانسی به منظور حفظ جان بیمار است. تشخیص، مدیریت و درمان به موقع اسبهای مبتلا، موجب بهبود پیشآگهی حاصل از درمان خواهد شد. علیرغم پیشرفتهای انجام گرفته در تشخیص، بیهوشی، جراحی و مراقبتهای پس از عمل، همچنان مدیریت کولیک یکی از مباحث چالشبرانگیز در دامپزشکی است. در این مقاله، برخی از مهمترین پیشرفتها در جنبههای مختلف کولیک ارائه شده است.
Colic as the most important equine disease requires emergency intervention to save patient’s life. Early diagnosis, management, and, treatment of affected horses will improve prognosis of treatment. Despite performed advances in diagnosis, anesthesia, surgery and postoperative care, colic is still a challenging concern in veterinary. Some of the most important advancements are presented in this article.
