<p>The relations between Iran and Iraq are different from other countries due to the common history between the two countries and common issues, family ties, shared religion, culture and religion, mutual ties in the tribes, and the proximity of the borders. Political changes are also taking place in the two countries. After the fall of the Baath regime in 2003 and creating a missed opportunity for the Iraqi Shiites, it prompted them to think about strengthening relations with Iran by relying on the capabilities of our country, Iran. Iraq is a country that has always suffered from its ethnic diversity throughout history and has always faced the dominance of a single people or religion, be it Arab, Kurdish, Sunni or Shiite. These groups and parties play key roles in the foreign policy of this country, especially in relation to Iran. The presence of Shiites and Kurds in building the power of Baghdad, removing the Baathist regime, changing the approach of "Arab-Sunni" to "Arab-Shia-Kurdish" in the political atmosphere of Iraq; It places the opportunities created in this country in the direction of the national interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran. On the other hand, in the contemporary era, the Najaf seminary was considered as the central area of the Shiites and played a very prominent role in the development of the Iraqi Shiite society, therefore it could play a prominent role in directing the goals of the Iraqi parties and Shiites of Iran, and in this way on the relations two countries to be influential. The purpose of the present research is to examine how political parties and Najaf seminary affect the relations between the two countries of Iran and Iraq. The premise of the research is that the Iraqi seminary, by directing the thinking of the scholars as leaders of the people, in political issues and Diplomatic relations have had a great impact both before and after the revolution, even during the war, it has also had a great impact on Iraqi prisoners. The findings of the research is that today both countries have good diplomatic skills, the main reason for this can be found in the strengthening of the role of parties in Iraq in the post-Baath era, and they are currently in their golden era in the fight against terrorism.</p>
