The amount of crime and its re-offending had an inverse relationship with the level of education and income and a direct relationship with urbanization and settlement. Assaults and traffic accidents have an inverse relationship with urbanization, and fraud and drug trafficking, as well as their history of repetition, have a direct relationship with urbanization. In this research, the level of education has been investigated in reducing the number of prisoners in Yasouj city. The main purpose of this research is to investigate how these two variables are connected and to study the effect of education level in reducing social harms, which is the main hypothesis. This research is of a social type and the results of this research show that when we examine a limited statistical population, most of the defendants who are tried in courts for various crimes, especially crimes related to violence, are from the lower deciles of the society and are poorly educated. If we can investigate this issue among different strata by gaining trust and honest answers, we can achieve a favorable result, but the successful implementation of these laws requires proper culture in the society. بنا به تحقیقات گذشته افزایش سن و سطح تحصیلات زندانیان با ارتکاب به جرایم، به‌ویژه سرقت که بیشترین فراوانی را در میان جرایم به خود اختصاص داده، رابطه معکوس داشت وفقط در مورد کلاهبرداری رابطه مستقیم مشاهده شد. میزان جرم و ارتکاب مجدد آن با سطح تحصیلات و درآمد رابطه‌ای معکوس و با شهرنشینی و متارکه رابطه‌ای مستقیم داشت. ضرب و جرح و تصادفات رانندگی با شهرنشینی رابطه معکوس و کلاهبرداری و قاچاق مواد مخدر و همچنین سابقه تکرار آنها با شهرنشینی رابطه مستقیم دارد. در این پژوهش به بررسی میزان سطح تحصیلات در کاهش آمار زندانیان شهر یاسوج پرداخته‌شده است. هدف اساسی این پژوهش، بررسی چگونگی پیوند این دو متغیر و مطالعه تأثیر میزان تحصیلات در کاهش آسیب‌های اجتماعی است که فرضیه اصلی می‌باشد. این پژوهش از نوع اجتماعی بوده و نتایج این تحقیق مشخص می‌کند که وقتی ما جامعه آماری محدودی را بررسی می‌کنیم، اغلب متهمانی که در دادگاه‌ها به اتهام جرائم مختلف بالأخص جرائم مربوط به خشونت محاکمه می‌شوند از دهک‌های پایین جامعه و کم‌سواد هستند. چنانچه بتوانیم با جلب اعتماد و پاسخ‌های صادقانه به بررسی این موضوع در بین اقشار مختلف بپردازیم می‌توانیم به نتیجه مطلوبی دست‌یابیم اما اجرای موفقیت‌آمیز این قوانین، نیازمند فرهنگ‌سازی مناسب در جامعه می‌باشد. http://geo2.ir/en/Article/Download/41821
