مقدمه: هدف پژوهش حاضر، مدلیابی رابطه بین احساس تنهایی و اعتیاد به بازیهای آنلاین در نوجوانان با نقش میانجی راهبردهای تنظیم هیجان بود. روش: پژوهش حاضر از نوع توصیفی–همبستگی و بر اساس مدلیابی معادلات ساختاری انجام شد. جامعه آماری شامل کلیه دانشآموزان دوره دوم متوسطه 15 تا 18 ساله شهر قم در سال تحصیلی ۱۴۰۳–۱۴۰۴ بود که از میان آنان، ۳۰۰ نفر بهصورت در دسترس انتخاب شدند. ابزارهای مورد استفاده شامل پرسشنامه احساس تنهایی راسل (۱۹۹۶)، پرسشنامه اعتیاد به بازیهای آنلاین وانگ و چانگ (۲۰۰۲)، و پرسشنامه تنظیم هیجان گروس و جان (۲۰۰۳) بود. دادهها با روش مدلیابی معادلات ساختاری در نرمافزار SmartPLS تحلیل شدند. یافتهها: نتایج نشان داد احساس تنهایی پیشبینیکننده مثبت و معنادار اعتیاد به بازیهای آنلاین است. همچنین، راهبردهای تنظیم هیجان تأثیر غیرمستقیم و معناداری بر اعتیاد به بازیهای آنلاین از طریق احساس تنهایی دارند. یافتهها بیانگر آن است که ضعف در تنظیم هیجان، زمینه افزایش احساس تنهایی و گرایش به بازیهای آنلاین را فراهم میکند. نتیجهگیری: بر اساس نتایج، آموزش راهبردهای سازگارانه تنظیم هیجان و ارتقای مهارتهای ارتباطی میتواند نقش مؤثری در کاهش احساس تنهایی و پیشگیری از اعتیاد به بازیهای آنلاین در نوجوانان داشته باشد.
