بررسی خواص و کاربرد انواع چسبهای مورد استفاده در بدن

امروزه بهمنظور درمان و ترمیم شکستگیهای استخوان، از پیچ و پلاکهای فلزی استفاده میشود؛ اما بهطور معمول این روش مشکلاتی در جراحیها و شکستگیهای استخوان از جمله شکستگیهای جمجمه و ستون مهرهها به دنبال خواهد داشت که بهعنوان مثال میتوان به مواردی همچون زمان اعمال طولانی که سبب افزایش زمان جراحی میشود، احتمال آسیب به بافتهای استخوانی اطراف شکستگی، دشواری و شکست پلاکها اشاره کرد. از این رو پژوهشگران و جراحان ارتوپد، بهدنبال جایگزینی مناسب برای این روش هستند. استفاده از چسبهای استخوان یکی از فناوریهای جدید در این راستا است که برای حل چنین مشکلاتی پیشنهاد شده است. این چسبها باید دارای ویژگیهایی همچون چسبندگی قابلقبول پروتئینها، بافتها و استخوان بهویژه در حضور چربی اطراف استخوان و پایداری چسبندگی در این محیطها باشند و با گذشت زمان، استحکام مکانیکی بالایی در برابر تنشهای کششی، برشی و فشاری داشته باشند. همچنین داشتن خصوصیاتی از جمله غیرسمی، زیستسازگاری، زیستتخریبپذیری مناسب، اعمال سریع و آسان و تثبیت خوب شکستگی برای این چسبها الزامی است. در این مقاله به برخی از این چسبهای زیستی، نحوهی تهیه و کاربرد آنها پرداخته شده است.
